Wisdom Is Born Of ApplesauceOh hey look it’s another tracking poll! The latest Rasmussen dealy shows that John McCain is tied with Barack Obama at 44%, but if you include “leaners,” the geezer beats the pants off the charismatic upstart with a whopping 47% to Obama’s crappy old 46%. JOHN MCCAIN IS PRESIDENT OF LEANERS!

Other data will strike fear in the hearts of Obamatards: their guy is losing badly among “unaffiliateds,” and his favorable ratings are at their lowest level since he got the nomination. Does all this bad news mean that John McCain’s laughable “Barack Obama is a white party girl wrapped in the body of a black politician” ad actually worked? Probably! After all, we are a nation of idiot retard losers. Or maybe Barack Obama will be president of Tuesday. Stay tuned for more exciting, meaningless updates!

I think this poll reflects McCain latest strategy to court younger voters by admitting the Earth is indeed possibly a sphere.

I finally figured out what that McCain poster reminds me of. Just flip it left to right and it’s a dead ringer.

John McCain “tied”. Not again.

Godless Liberal * August 4, 2008 at 11:22 am

You know, this would never had happened had the DNC let Hillary take the nomination. She would be leading by 100 points, not counting leaners.

Vanity Smurf August 4, 2008 at 11:25 am

In other news, polls that are broken down by Electoral College votes show that the Barry landslide is only getting bigger. Not that we would want to pay attention to the actual mechanics of how Americans “vote” for President or anything.

obfuscator August 4, 2008 at 11:25 am

I assume “leaners” are “people sporting artifical hips”.

BigDupa August 4, 2008 at 11:30 am

When will Barry run an add comparing McCain to Grampa Simpson? “McCain to illegal aliens– GET OFF MY LAWN… but cut it first, of course.”

John McCain’s Dangles

Six o’clock already
I was just in the middle of a dream
I was blown by Joe Lieberman
By a crystal blue Italian stream
Now I’m already tied
‘Cause then I guess I’m not totally screwed
These are the days
When you wish your food was already chewed

It’s just another Old Man Monday
I wish it was Sunday
‘Cause that’s my funday
My I don’t have to runday
It’s just another Old Man Monday

Have to catch Trollop’s plane
Got to be in Butte by nine
And if I could fly an airplane
I still couldn’t make it on time
‘Cause it takes me so long
Just to figure out where I’m crashing it
Blame it on the cunt
But Barry is already there

All of the nights
Why did Vickie have to pick last night
To get down
Doesn’t it matter
That I have to watch out for Cindy
Or my allowance’s gone
She tells me in her bedroom voice
C’mon honey, it’s sexy fun time!
Time it goes so fast
When you’re on boner pills

The whole cell phone demographic is left out of these polls.

I am waiting for the McNasty-Hopey debates before i look at any numbers.
Americans have to have a side by side comparison

.[re=51121]Godless Liberal *[/re]: But Hillary would have lost the cell phone demographic and the in living color demographic, so it may be a wash. Are there more bitters and racists in America than youth and teh brown? I think not.

Leaner (adj.) {pron. leenur}:

(1) An ornery old coot leaning over to kick a three legged dog that’s fallen asleep on the sidewalk.

(2) An ornery old plantation owner leaning over to whip a negro child who’s fallen alseep in the fields.

(3) An ornery old coot in a retirement home leaning over to fart while one of the nurses gives him a sponge bath.

Canuckledragger August 4, 2008 at 11:35 am

When Hopey wins, I want him to make Laura Ingalls Wildest the Secretary of Meaningless Polls.

She’s better at it than our esteemed Wonkeditors, and I really miss her regular driveby poll-drops illustrating that Hopey couldn’t beat anybody ['ceptin' some girl named Hillary.]

I notice that the MSM seems determined to ignore polls that don’t reflect a really close horse-race. But then, if it didn’t look like a horse-race, why would voters watch/read the MSM?

Getting zero media traction are polls like the following, which show that if the election were held today, McCain could pick up all solid and leaning red states and still get walloped in the electoral college. Why no mention of poll results like these?

“Leaners” = hillbilly racists who can’t live with the idea of a black person “in charge.” They’re in such a pickle: Juan Macain isn’t theocratic enough, whereas the alomst-gone Bush said Jeebus is his favorite philosopher, and Huckabee (sorely missed!) wanted to rewrite the Consitution to line up with the 10 commandments.

AngryBlakGuy August 4, 2008 at 11:43 am

…personally I don’t believe ANY of these polls. Its in the media’s best interest NOT to allow either candidate to pull away. That is the reason why despite Obama receiving far more coverage than McCain, it is overwhelmingly negative coverage. During his campaign with Hillary how long did it take news anchors to acknowledge the fact that she couldn’t statistically win? And now that she is out of the race all they focus on is the narrative that if Obama DOESN’T choose her then “white people” will not vote for him. If the current race was covered in fair manner highlighting all the flip-flops, inaccuracies and flat out lies of John McCain this race would be over by now. But if the media did that then who would tune in and watch their advertisers? Another angle I have picked up is the fact that all the major networks are essentially funded or owned by corporate conglomerates that would be impacted by a progressive movement. Anyone who tells me that Exxon-Mobil spending 10 or 15 million dollars on an AD-buy isn’t an attempt to flex its muscle with “News” corporation is delusional. Something to keep your eye on are the demographic break downs; when you focus on those you realize McCain is getting his ass handed to him in every major demographic except “white males”. And even in the “white male” demographic its a close race; so can someone explain how in the hell those numbers never add up to the overall poll? Well thats all I have to say, if anyone needs me I will be at the super-market buying tin foil!

Wow! That John McCain’s quite a poker player, holding his big celebrity trump cards up his sleeve for just this moment:

BHO: I’ve got Springsteen.

JSM: I’ll see your Brooooooce and raise you a John Rich.

BHO: Well, I’ve got Dylan.

JSM: I’ll see your Zimmerman and raise you a Daddy Yankee.

Who? Hmmmm. Not even the McCainiacs seem to know:

“I don’t know anything about Daddy Yankee,” said spokesperson Nicolle Wallace, a former top White House communications aide who is the main media person on McCain’s plane.”

This frank admission is prominent in a piece called “McCain taps Latino well of support – Huddle with pop king Daddy Yankee shows he can appeal to anybody, Republican’s aide says”

http://www.thestar.com/News/USElection/article/472026

Meanwhile, back here on Planet Earth, Obama leads McCain among Latino voters by 40+ points, but maybe those polls haven’t yet factored in the Daddy Yankee bounce.

“Obama’s approval rating with registered Latino voters, the nationwide Pew Hispanic Center poll found, is at 66 percent versus 23 percent favoring McCain.”

Of course the Hiltards also bought into Hillarymath(TM)when it came to the delegate count, so I’m not exactly shocked. I just wish that the first viable female presidential candidate didn’t have such math-tarded followers. Thanks for reinforcing a stereotype, ladies!

[re=51125]Vanity Smurf[/re]:

Barry’s landslide? Maybe I’m reading different polls than you are but RCP polling averages in the big swing states shows two of the four (Fla. Ohio, Mich, PA) within the margin of error. PA looks like an Obama win and Florida looks like a McCain win. The other two are pretty close. The red states in the south are still red states. Only Nevada and Colorado are outside the margin of error and leaning blue. Barry may very well win three of the four swing states and he could potentially win in a landslide. That doesn’t mean he’s winning big right now. Obama fans constantly overestimate his appeal.

[re=51147]AngryBlakGuy[/re]:

I’m in a contrarian mood so let me point out a few things that will annoy anyone who’s an Obama true believer. First, the guy has not been getting negative coverage. Look what these same corporate media outlets did to Gore and then to Kerry. THAT was negative coverage. About the primary, Obama fans can’t seem to accept the fact after the Potomac primaries, Obama lost many mpre primaries than he won and Hillary erased a 700k vote lead in the popular vote. Obama fans would like to pretend that never happened. They like to pretend that Obama was the overwhelming choice of Democrats but the fact is, he won a hotly contested and decidedly close primary victory. It should also be pointed that had Democrats used the winner take all method of awarding Delegates instead of the proportional method, Barry would have lost and it would not have been close.

“If the current race was covered in fair manner highlighting all the flip-flops, inaccuracies and flat out lies of John McCain this race would be over by now.”

There are “flip-flops, inaccuracies and flat out lies” from both candidates. FISA was a one or two day story. Nobody outside of political junkies like me knows Obama lied about his support for gun control, or that he doesn’t know the meaning of the term “undivided Jerusalem”. Obama is a beneficiary of a Republican party in retreat and a poorly executed primary campaign on the part of Hillary Clinton. His support is not nearly as long and as deep as his fans suggest it is.

[re=51355]pdiddycornchips[/re]: …I so dont wanna go back to this Hillz issue but since you brought it up.

-It doesnt matter if in some parallel universe Democratic presidential candidates were chosen by the “winner take all” structuring; BECAUSE IN THIS UNIVERSE & REALITY ITS PROPORTIONATE!!!

-If you dont believe that he has vastly more negative coverage than John McCain that is fine. But that doesn’t mean the FACTS change; just last week a scientific study was done by The Center for Media and Public Affairs at George Mason University which proved Obama received NEGATIVE coverage 72% of the time.

-In regards to Al Gore and John Kerry I definitely agree that they were treated poorly by the media. Whether or not it was more or less than Obama I cant say, because that is a very subjective issue.

-Anyone who could compare the level of inaccuracies that John McCain has routinely espoused to anything that Barack Obama has back pedaled or “flip-flopped” on clearly has made their mind up about him. John McCain has literally changed his opinion on every major issue he has ever had. If he did this AFTER receiving his parties nomination it could be argued that he is “tacking to the center” but instead he did it long BEFORE becoming the Republican nominee. The only conclusion one can make is that he did it solely for political expediency.

-Lastly you can claim that Obama is an inexperienced empty suit, but what does that say about all the Democratic candidates(Hillary included) that he beat out FAIR & SQUARE. This whole sour grapes routine has become old with Hillary supporters, how long can you sit back and cry over spilled milk. YOU LOST!!! fukkin get over it. In sports after the final buzzer goes off you can stay on the court until the lights go out and stadium empty’s but it doesn’t change the outcome!

“-In regards to Al Gore and John Kerry I definitely agree that they were treated poorly by the media. Whether or not it was more or less than Obama I cant say, because that is a very subjective issue.”

Subjective? Then why isn’t Obama’s so called negative press also subjective?

“Anyone who could compare the level of inaccuracies that John McCain has routinely espoused to anything that Barack Obama has back pedaled or “flip-flopped” on clearly has made their mind up about him.”

They both flip flop. Obama is flip flopping on off shore drilling as we speak. McCain did too but Obama did so to take the issue off the table for Republicans. There is no difference between the two candidates on the issue of integrity. Neither of them is all that good at articulating policy and sticking to it.

“-Lastly you can claim that Obama is an inexperienced empty suit, but what does that say about all the Democratic candidates(Hillary included) that he beat out FAIR & SQUARE.”

I don’t remember saying that but whateves, that’s an accurate appraisal of my feelings about Barry.
