This is the vilest of the vile, and I will come out and say it right in the open: Every member of the Trump maladministration must be brutally strangled in public.

"up to 950 beds in the Denver area.) But this latest request is what is known as a bulk or blanket purchase agreement." Beds . . . blanket purchase agreement . . . ha, ha, get it ?

And was there anyone else here who saw CoreCivic and immediately processed it as Coercive?

It says something when a country spends more on prisons than it does on things like...parks and museums and idk, feeding people.

But hang tough, all, there will be some short term pain, but it'll totally be worth it.

300k jobs lost (and counting). Don't call it a recession though!

These are the things that revolutions are made of.

Everyone knew George III of England was an imbecile. But it was his advisors, looking to their own personal profit, who imposed taxation upon the English colonies.

And look what happened.

"And as long as somebody stands to make a few billion off cruelty, then that’s the American Way, isn’t it?" Truest statement I've read in a long time.

I thought they wanted to deport people, not house them indefinitely in encampments.

I don’t want my tax dollars going to this! I want to support USAID and libraries and medical research!!!

I'm sure it won't be indefinitely. Eventually they'll get around to living out their full Nazi cosplay fantasies and start actively killing people.

Let’s call them what they are: concentration camps. As usual, Wonkette’s satirical take on the news gets it just right. Not only does the Trump regime want to spend *billions* on building new concentration camps for immigrants, but they want to make it easier for private prison companies to submit bids and manage the facilities (i.e., eliminate rules and oversight). I’ve seen the inside of these camps, and even under existing standards, the conditions are bleak. People have died due to negligent medical care. People have died after speedy deportations with no due process. First they came for the immigrants....

The necessary funds for ICE concentration camps will be easily found once the Federal government stops paying for water fluoridation, chem-trail generation, weather control infrastructure, fancy orbital telescopes, nuclear cyclotrons and Free Mason temples.

This is like every government contract, a transfer of public money into private hands. It was written by lobbyists who worked for private hands. The rationale sounded good; instead of creating new government workers and departments when a need arises you just hire a contractor to do the work for us and hire people from the private sector. Or instead of building a Mars rover you hire a contractor to build one for you. But it has been warped because it was written to be warped. Now the federal money goes out and is handed to a rich campaign donor, who skims billions off the top, then hires another contractor who takes another slice, and it goes on until when the money finally reaches the point where the rubber meets the road, it's about $10,000 to rebuild an entire city.

Transfer of public wealth to private hands. That's all it is.

Over a million turned out into the streets last Saturday. We will, however, need upwards of 12 million in the streets in order to enact regime change per the 3.5% Solution.
