It would be marvelous to find out if she's ever had a conversation with any young person who's part of "the transgender." Or let the public see her cross examine a few such individuals. Esp. someone who's in middle school, someone in high school, and someone in adulthood. After all, these people are the big 'influencers' on the subject so to speak. Why should that be so, when for all we know- and we know it really, they don't know what they're talking about. Didn't Marjorie Taylor Green tear down a flag belonging to a congresswoman across the hall from her office, whose daughter is transgender? She didn't ask questions to find out more about it, she ripped the flag down in the nastiest most belligerent way possible, because she's barbaric. To put it mildly.

I called my senator to say no to this bill. Kids need programs and therapy, not poorly written bills that can be used against. them.

Any bill about 'kids' and 'safety' will be about GUNZ, right? Why, or why not?

She should have used "children" instead of "kids." Then it would be "COSA," and she and her ilk could call it "COSA nostra."

Whenever it's about "saving the kids" it's always about control. Started this same sort of thing in the 1980's with Bush. I owned an ISP at the time.

Well, harm is an inclusive noun. and verb. There are no, or is not "harms" I object on behalf of not understanding your native language. Do you (general) say what I am seeing?

"options to protect their information, disable addictive product features, and opt-out of algorithmic recommendations" ... i suspect non-children would like these options as well. it takes shockingly little for Facebook to decide i would definitely love extreme hard right content "recommended" to me.

By voting no, the Republicans can then point fingers screaming, “SEE, the DEMOCRATS HATE KIDS!”

Dear Senator Baldwin,

I vote for you back when I was an angsty grad student. I can't vote for you anymore, because I moved back to Virginia. From your 24 years in Congress, I can list a grand total of FOUR terrible laws you voted for that caused serious harm in this country:

1)The Afghanistan war

2)No Child Left Behind (another law marketed as "think of the children")

3)The Iraq War

4)SESTA-FOSTA

Please, please, PLEASE do not add KOSA to this list.

Someone just give Marsha Blackburn an Etchasketch, and tell her it's the "safe" internet.

For fuck's sake...

Maybe stop protecting my children from online information (***big exceptions for CSA-related content, ACTUAL predators, and whatever we now refer to "revenge porn" as***) and try to let parents do it? What happened to "parents rights"?!

My older son regularly gets fed Andrew Tate-style BS as well as "how to be a big, buff dude" things in his feed. He is in eighth grade. We discuss those subjects.

Does that mean that every parent pays attention to what their kids are doing online? NO. But I'd rather my kids be exposed to something I disagree with than for them to have the chance to see things that are outside of what they'd otherwise be exposed to.

I get why Republicans want this, but Liz, why have you forsaken me?

Bipartisan is the diseased well in that story at least one professor tells you about how where everyone was drinking infected water out of the same well and they figured it out by putting little dots for each dead or dying person on a map and realized at the center was one diseased well.
