Since I'm becoming an Old, dental hygenist recommended a nightly swish of ACT mouthwash, for extra fluoridation. [Ask your dentist or pharmacist if ACT is right for you .....]

Interesting that apparently the discovery that fluoride reduces tooth decay stemmed from observations in the early 1900s by dentist Frederick McKay, who noticed that residents of Colorado Springs with brown-stained teeth (later identified as fluorosis) also had remarkably low rates of tooth decay. That said perhaps flouride added to water that would otherwise not be present has a mix of desirable and undesirable side effects, as most man-made fixes do. Studies of remains of ancient hunter gatherers show that their quality of their teeth were far superior to the later more stressed agriculturalists. These studies show that diet and lifestyle has a lot more to do with teeth decay and no amount of flouride can fix this problem.

If we were meant to have a full set of healthy teeth, it would have been called a “teethbrush”.

That list of bad things Jr. wants to fight? They're caused by lead poisoning, not fluoride.

Gay goldfish.

This was once why people opposed fluoride. Gay goldfish in fluoridated water.

There is always some conspiracy bullshit about fluoride. I’m so, so tired of conspiracy theory bullshit.

"harm American health or to “reduce an individual's power to resist domination by slowly poisoning and narcotising a certain area of the brain” in order to “make him submissive to the will of those who wish to govern him.”"

How does Fox News administer fluoride to all those people? 🤔

I grew up on well water. No fluoride. So, weak teeth. Lots of cavities. Lots of pain. Lots of dentist bills.

England - only one area has fluoride in the water.

We have a crisis with nhs dentists as they aren't paid enough. Private dentistry costs a fortune depending on the place. Most people go without.

I live in Maine, where tons of people are on wells and only the bigger towns fluoridate the water. The dentists stay busy!

The experiment has already been done. Calgary, AB (very conservative by Canadian standards) got rid of fluoride in tap water about a decade ago. It quickly became apparent it was a disaster. The city figures they will have undone that craziness and gone back to fluoridation by 2028. Look it up.

Ah, but you neglect to add that this will all be mitigated by not doing studies or reporting on any of it. Problem solved!

Yes, but once it's removed in 'Murca the dental lobby will make sure that it is never reversed.

Hell, there was a town in VT that discovered a longtime employee had stopped fluoridating the water after an epidemic of dental carries that no one could explain.

One wonders what's the next thing RFK will try to ban from water. chlorine or phosphorus? Chlorine can form some nasty chemicals if used too heavily and the water has not been adequately filtered. Phosphorous forms a film on the lining of pipes that keeps lead from leaching out. Chlorine is used to kill Cholera and E. Coli bugs.

Water contains oxygen, which in large enough concentrations is fatal in humans!

No more water!

There's even MORE hydrogen, which they use to make BOMBS!!!!!!

May as well add nitrogen fertilizer to the water.

Flint MI got screwed when they decided the $140/day cost for the orthophosphate corrosion inhibitor was too expensive, which resulted in a $1.5B repair bill - - enough for nearly 30,000 years worth of inhibitor.
