"We're going to kick their ass!". Don't be so sure libs. Remember you said that with Hillary? "tRump will never win!" Look how that turned out. Living in a state now considered contentious, and many wanting Cheeto Mussolini back in office, this is no time to get on our high horses with the claim "we got this".
And they'll cheat like a lazy high school student taking a dreaded examination he didn't prepare for and doesn't know crap about - in every way they can.
The speech by the leader of the Wisconsin Democratic Party was sobering and powerful. He reminded us that there will be "billions spent" by the other side to keep this from happening, and that the last two Wisconsin presidential elections were decided by only about 25,000 votes.
Not that he’s wrong, and the worse Shitler and his thralls get their not see asses kicked the better, but IMHO this election isn’t going to be *ANYTHING* like ’16 or ’20.
"We’re going to beat the fuck out of these lunatics in November."
I have no doubt we'll win the election kick their fucking lunatic asses - but it's the old saw, don't know if it's true - it doesn't matter who votes, it matters who counts the votes.
Let's hope the people with power in the democratic party are willing to use it to defend democracy in this old republic. I wonder, cuz they've sure been a bunch of squishes before.
Last night I was running a letter-writing party as per my Monday night usual, and around 6:45 Eastern I went to send out the reminder email to my volunteers. I kept trying till 7:15 and just couldn't do it. The mobilize.us domain was REALLY acting up -- 502 errors, insane load times only to generate a page with no data, etc. -- and I was freaking out, worried that it was under a DDOS attack from some shitty alt right hacker group. Things had settled down by 8, and I ran my party with fewer people that I'd had last week, figuring that the missed reminder call had lost me a few people.
This morning a friend of mine was like, sorry I couldn't make it, did you know you were up against Bradley Whitford and Jeff Bridges?
Never in my life have I been more delighted by a drop in volunteer count and a sluggish and unusable website. Hell yeah, LFG!
Kamala! Gov. Walz! I will do anything you tell me to! OK...maybe that's a bit too much like the other side...except I know these two won't steer me wrong. What a great pair!
I recently attended an event where Walz was a speaker, and he was on FIRE! Did a lot of great progressive stuff for his state and has a can-do attitude that I found energizing. Walz for Veep!
Nothing against the guy personally. I like what he says as much as anyone. But an old, bald, pudgy, mediocre-looking white guy is THE WRONG VISUAL. Like, it could not possibly be a worse choice and would completely negate the exciting dynamic Harris has brought to the race and is frankly, our only real chance.
HE LOOKS LIKE THE PEOPLE AND THE IDEOLOGY WE ARE TRYING TO MOBILIZE AGAINST AND DEFEAT. How many times do people have to say that the ticket has to look like our electorate? Walz may in fact be awesome, but he looks just like the people who want to disenfranchise most of the country, turn women into property and whine incessantly about how the Youngs and the Browns just don't admire them enough.
Promise him a cabinet position and get him on the campaign trail, fine. But don't put him alongside Kamala at the head.
Gotta disagree. He reminds of my dad. And my dad is good people. Enough with VISUALS and OPTICS already. I'm up to here with all that. We need good SOULS. Biden is that. Kamala is most certainly that.
The people who care about good souls are already on our side. We need the votes of the ignorant, superficial and unengaged voters who, unfortunately, decide every election. The single largest gettable block of those are the ones who are turned off by people look like every other politician they see all-too-often on TV, the ones who just refuse to shut up and leave them alone.

I concur. Either way be prepared for violence from the MAGA side if Harris does clinch the election.
Ta, Evan. Yes, we're going to kick their asses in November, so hard that all their efforts to steal it from us will be overwhelmed.
"And you know that’s something that guy’s gonna have to live with for the rest of his life." In jail, I hope.
Wishful thinking. Jails are for the poor.

Still going with “Kamalarama”.
All the attractive young-middle-aged white dudes are showing up. I got a text from Jon Hamm today campaigning for Josh Hawley’s opponent.
Lucas Kunce, right?
😁

He’s a rock star.
"Cat People and Dog People For Harris - Because Our Pets Know"
This is from downthread
Let's keep doing this
That would break the internet. Let’s start with a subset, like childless cat ladies for Harris. We could get Taylor Swift to host.
Oh, I guess even that would break the internet. 😂😂😂
Trump hates dogs.
Vance hates cats.
They both hate people.

Ballz to the Walz!!
I think maybe I'm in love with Tim Walz. If only he wasn't so PINK. That man needs to wear sunscreen every time he leaves the house.
I think he would be a big plus with other pink men of a certain age.
I've always been a Petenik, but I would be quite happy if Kamala taps Tim Walz.
hee hee
I too have been crushing ever since he told off his state GOP because they didn't want to give the kids free lunch
Gov Walz was like "I'm feeding the kids and f you if you don't like it"
That's a MAYUN right there, lol
🎯A damn fine one for sure.

I hadn't seen Walz until last night, Joy had him on for quite a while and he's really good, I see why he's on the short list.
Ha. A robber baron real estate guy and a venture capitalist trying to sell their bullshit to the middle class. Yes. No sugar coating. It's weird.
V.P. Tim Walz: No. Please no.

No better than the other side if “too fat and too White” is the criteria you’re applying
The guy's good. He has a place. Just not on the ticket.
