Hey Dems, don't think that you will be getting the massive amounts of money from small donors that you've been getting for years, or the votes from us little people, just by collaborating with this maladministration.

SHOW SOME FUCKING LEADERSHIP AND USE EVERY TOOL AT YOUR DISPOSAL TO STOP THIS CRAP! Stop enabling these jackasses.

The problem, tho, is that the Dem voters who are disgusted with the portion of Dems pols who are playing nice are also rational enough to understand that *not* supporting even those Dems in an election is suicide, bc (with the exception of fettermanchinema) the worst Dem is still better than the best GOP.

We have no choice.

I see that Rachel (below) is open to a 3rd-party candidate -- but that only opens the door to more wins by GOPs. Those 3p candidates never benefit Dems.

I don't know what the solution is, and I feel your rage, and I'm sick of being taken for granted by the Dem party. Their milquetost-ness and the support, by many, of ruinous GOP economic policies have made me literally poor and have brought about what will be a premature death (I have pancreatic cancer, diagnosed 2+ years after symptoms began bc I lacked health insurance, and delay is deadly). So, yes, I'm furious -- and, I don't know what could get them to see sense / mount an effective opposition, and I wish I knew.

So sorry that you're going through this.

If it's any consolation, you have a supportive group here.

So sorry for your health issues, and partly thanks to the crappy way that we pay for health care in this country.

Some are calling for primarying collaborating Dems. I donтАЩt know if that will work, but itтАЩs a start.

Yes. Primaries are when we choose our candidates. Voting 3rd party just hands the power to the Republicans. If you really, really like a 3rd party candidate, get them to run in the democratic primary. We can get better representation but not by refusing to vote or voting 3rd party.

For the first time since 2000, I'm becoming open to voting 3rd party or N/A. EVEN IN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

People couldn't scream much louder online, and at this point the upcoming protests are going to be at least 50% signs telling at Dems to fucking do something.
