Err'one who's crying about the MSM failing us is living under an illusion that we still have a 'free press' in this country. Well, we do to some extent, but it sure as shit ain't what streams across your bigscreen teevees at six and eleven.
There was a time when the meedja weren't wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Multi-Death Corporations that serve the wishes of their oligarch masters - and *them only*. Ronnie Raygun made sure to knock that out of the way, giving us Faux, Newsmax, etc. Fortunately, they do still let the pundits make their criticisms on the late night talk shows, and we do still have places like Wonkette. We even sorta vaguely still have Twitter, despite the in no ways accidental destruction of that system. But if we want attention on these matters, we've got to drive it ourselves - the news ain't gonna tell us about it unless we make them.
