On Friday morning, news hit that former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez — who committed suicide in jail this April while serving time for the murder of fellow football player Odin Lloyd — had stage 3 (out of 4) CTE when he died. CTE, or chronic traumatic encephalopathy, is a neurodegenerative disease common among football players and other people who suffer repeated concussions and brain trauma.

On Friday night, President Donald Trump railed against the precautions the NFL has taken to prevent CTE and brain trauma in general.

“Today, if you hit too hard, 15 yards, throw him out of the game! They had that last week. I watched for a couple minutes. Two guys, just really beautiful tackle. Boom, 15 yards! The referee gets on television, his wife is sitting at home, she’s just so proud of him. They’re ruining the game! They’re ruining the game. They want to hit! They want to hit! It’s hurting the game.”

This is not the first time that Trump has whined about this particular issue. He spent part of a campaign stop in Iowa in January of 2016 whining about this as well.

CTE can only be diagnosed post-mortem, but an absurd amount of football players have exhibited symptoms of the disease — which are all quite horrible.

Via Wikipedia:

First-stage symptoms include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder as well as confusion, disorientation, dizziness, and headaches. Second-stage symptoms include memory loss, social instability, impulsive behavior, and poor judgment. Third and fourth stages include progressive dementia, movement disorders, hypomimia, speech impediments, sensory processing disorder, tremors, vertigo, deafness, depression and suicidality.

Additional symptoms include dysarthria, dysphagia, cognitive disorder such as amnesia, and ocular abnormalities, such as ptosis.

Well, to me, anyway. And probably to you, and also the football men themselves. But not to Donald Trump, who is like “Screw your degenerative brain diseases! I wanna see more TACKLES!” Perhaps some nice Trump supporters would be willing to sacrifice their future mental health and consider getting in some kind of gladiator ring and tackling each other over and over again, so that President Trump can get his jollies?

Also on the the list of things Donald told to go screw last night is the First Amendment and the concept of free speech. “What?” you ask, “I thought Donald Trump and all his good buddies LOVED free speech! Isn’t that the very theme of the failed festival Milo Yiannopoulis tried to put on at Berkeley? Isn’t free speech their favorite?”

But you would be wrong. Trump and his supporters believe not in the kind of free speech protected in the First Amendment and the Constitution, but rather in “muh freeze peach,” an imaginary constitutional amendment that allows jerks to go around spouting racial slurs without anyone calling them a bigot or a racist, and generally protects them from the social consequences of being an asshole.

Thus, most of his venom last night was directed towards Colin Kaepernick and other players sitting during the national anthem. Apparently, an NFL player who doesn’t stand for the anthem in protest of racism is a “son of a bitch” and Nazis are “very fine people.” Got that?

Specifically, he said:

“Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, ‘Get that son of a bitch off the field right now, out, he’s fired. He’s fired!’,” Trump said. “You know, some owner is gonna do that. He’s gonna say, ‘That guy disrespects our flag, he’s fired.’ And that owner, they don’t know it. They don’t know it. They’re friends of mine, many of them. They don’t know it. They’ll be the most popular person, for a week. They’ll be the most popular person in this country.”

He then suggested that people should just “pick up and leave” if they go to a game where such a protest is happening. You know, because football tickets are probably cheap enough to do that. Oh that Donald Trump! Always understanding the common folk!

I’m gonna give you a moment so that you can fully imagine what the reaction would be if President Obama had said to fire someone because he disagreed with them politically. Then let’s watch this because it is great and true and hilarious.

There was, of course, lots and lots of support in the MAGA-o-sphere for Trump’s remarks, very likely coming from people who were so mad when Google fired that nice boy just because he sent out a memo saying that his female co-workers were biologically not at smart as he is.

The NFL, however, was far less impressed with Trump’s suggestion that they fire players for protesting!

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had this to say:

“The NFL and our players are at our best when we help create a sense of unity in our country and our culture. There is no better example than the amazing response from our clubs and players to the terrible natural disasters we’ve experienced over the last month,” Goodell said in the statement.

“Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players, and a failure to understand the overwhelming force for good our clubs and players represent in our communities.”

DeMaurice Smith, head of the NFL players association was even more explicit in his condemnation of Trump’s remarks:

Trump, however, continued on his attack against the men of sportsball today, by rescinding a White House invitation to the Warriors basketball team, on account of player Stephen Curry “hesitating” (ie: saying he would not go):

He sure is a grown ass man! But according to LeBron James, whom I am told is like, the LeBron James of sports, he is also a bum.

We think he is a bum, too!

The comment I was gonna post would have been ban-hammered, and would have excited interest among the Treasury Department’s more gung-ho regions. That said, guys can spot guys who talk bigger than they hit. Yes, men are awful, but we can spot more awful-er guys. It’s like gaydar, but for assholes.

In the time he came from, real men didn’t just go to some fucking egghead doctor who told them they couldn’t do their sport jobs anymore because of some wimpy “brain” shit. Their brain damage is what made US AMercia grate. When their draft numbers came up, those same men would go and suffer more for their country!!! Not cry about how awful it was for the Vietnamese or how napalm and defoliant is not good for their long term health!! In fact REAL men just claimed they had ass zits and heel spurs.

  • Elendira

The Stephen Curry story is even better. The Trump White House hadn’t even invited the Warriors to the White House in the first place. They were waiting for the team to vote internally before they would extend the invitation so they wouldn’t be humiliated in the first place. Way to go, Trump

    • Under any other circumstances a visit to the White House would be an honor. The Warriors are winners. No reason to tarnish their reputation for a visit with trump.

  • DoILookAmused2u? Résistance☨

Trump already tried Making Football Great Again by urging the USFL to move from Summer competition to the Fall in order to compete directly with the NFL as part of a scam that involved suing the NFL for anti-trust violations in order to get them to grant his team membership in the NFL.

The result was the USFL went bankrupt in 1985.

    • House0fTheBlueLights

Was this before or after he lost his bid to buy an NFL team? Not that I’m saying he’s a vindictive SOB or anything.

      • DoILookAmused2u? Résistance☨

n 1985, the USFL voted to move from a spring to a fall schedule in 1986 to compete directly with the NFL. This was done at the urging of New Jersey Generals majority owner Donald Trump and a handful of other owners as a way to force a merger between the leagues. As part of this strategy, the USFL filed an anti-trust lawsuit against the National Football League in 1986, and a jury ruled that the NFL had violated anti-monopoly laws. However, in a victory in name only, the USFL was awarded a judgment of just $1, which under anti-trust laws, was tripled to $3.[2] This court decision effectively ended the USFL. The league never played the 1986 season, and by the time it folded, it had lost over US$163 million.

He wasn’t kind to the people who wrap themselves in it, never served and who are so quick to wear it as underwear, boot and clothing decor to show their very, very questionable ‘patriotism.’

Precisely. Motor issues include unable to stand stably (clutching the chair at the debate), posture badly off (many examples), fear of descending stairs (grabs Angela’s hand) unable to walk any distance (drives golf carts on greens, rides a golf cart at the G-8 when everyone else walked a couple of hundred yards). And that’s just the motor issues. Confusion (can’t find his limo in front of him, tries to put hurricane relief supplies through truck window instead of the truck bed, doesn’t know Melania is standing next to him, often treating her like some kind of game show participant, perhaps because he doesn’t immediately recognize her). Etc.etc.etc. I’ll leave poor impulse control alone – too many examples to enumerate.

I think we are in FDR territory here. A concerted effort by staff to hide his manifest disabilities by everyone around him. The big difference is FDR’s physical issues had nothing to do with his ability to perform his job. 4-5’s deficits have everything to do with his ability to serve as President. He needs to be evaluated by a panel of independent physicians, neurologists and psychiatrists stat.

His lawyers have filed a lawsuit against the Pats and the NFL. (Loss of consortium on behalf of his young daughter.) The school of thought, so far, is that neither are likely to be found liable because Hernandez has been getting bashed around in football since his pop warner days and all thru high school and college. The CTE didn’t magically appear when he joined the Patriots.

      • Lascauxcaveman

They clearly don’t have a case, unless they can isolate specific instances of Pats staff making the guy go out and play when he’s showing symptoms of concussion, or some thing like that. But they’ll try to get the Pats to settle out of court.

That’s quite the endorsement there, Donald. But wait, there’s more!

In addition to knowing nothing about the risks of playing pro football, our phony Patriot-in-Chief also apparently is not aware of these things called ‘guaranteed contracts’ and this little thing the teams must operate under call a ‘salary cap.’ . . . But of course, there’s a solution to that, right? Just blacklist the protesting players! And maybe the teams can get a salary cap exemption for releasing players who dare to offer an opinion about anything other than football . . .

OT, but this kind of blew me away.

    To all Wonketteers:

I was walking to my car this morning, and I happened to glance at my license plate . We all know our plate number, I guess, but it isn’t something you really think about, as a rule. Just some random letters and numbers, right? Well maybe I’ve been hanging out with all of you Nazi hating libtards too much or something, because when I looked at my plate this morning, a little light went on over my head! JUST LIKE IN A CARTOON, I SWEAR! Because my license plate # is *HH 88*. That’s right – “Heil Hitler,” both alphabetically and numerically. A white supremacist’s dream plate. On a German car, no less. Freaked me the fuck out! I can’t believe I never noticed before. Now I find myself walking around humming the “Horst Wessel Lied” and faintly hearing the voices of the masses chanting “Sieg Heil” at the Nuremburg party rallies. (Just kidding. That isn’t really happening.) But it does feel weird. I hope I am not going to be drummed out of the Wonkette community in disgrace for this completely random thing. I will redouble my efforts to heap scorn and disdain on Nazis and RWNJ’s, to prove my liberal bona fides to you all.

In France, we don’t have american football, but we have rugby. I think rugby is less violent than AF, but the players don’t have any protection. You know the moment when they show portraits of the players on telly before the games start ? I always used to remark that a lot of them had very square faces.
It’s less obvious these days because I think there’s been a growing awareness of the kind of damage such a sport can inflict on your body, especially the head and the brain.

    • Good_Gawd_Yall

I’ve never seen rugby played in person, but I can tell you that back in the early 80s when the University of Kentucky was trying to get an intramural men’s rugby team going, they sold shirts to raise money with the slogan “Rugby players eat their dead.”

Come to think of it, perhaps Rugby is in essence a game or sport still whereas AF is more a corporate tribal warfare subsitute.

    • House0fTheBlueLights

Plus, the average NFL career is 3 years.

    • JohnC44

This is a tough moral argument, I feel.

On one side, you have to consider the fact that these guys are pursuing a career they chose voluntarily and competed against others to gain access to. Professional sports are difficult to break into due simply to there being so many potential players and so few team slots in which to employ them requiring a personal commitment and discipline by each player practically from adolescence to reach that lofty objective. At some point it comes down to the fact most have implicitly waived their right to act surprised over the fact they have experienced significant impact trauma to their brain. It’s simple physics – the concept of inertia indicates an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by an equal or greater force. This concept also applies to delicate brain matter surrounded by cerebrospinal fluid contained within the human skull. Repeated concussive injury should be expected to yield profound chronic symptoms given the potential severity of each incident on the basis of the level of play involved. These players entered the professional “arena” knowing full well they were going to face opponents as physically capable as themselves, if not more so. The risk involved seems pretty obvious not respective of a formal declaration thereof.

On the other hand, these players have all been shafted by team management and the league both of whom have been party to not distributing an adequate premium to players in consideration of the profound personal risk to players they facilitate and lucratively market.

In other words: Professional sports players are not exactly victims as much as they are rightful claimants to just compensation for the physiological damage incurred both in playing professional sports and in training and lower level play leading up to that point. Owners and league officials have for too long unjustly diverted their obscene profits into their own pockets – money that belongs to players as the creator of value in the whole arrangement.

      • Eileen Besse

        Amen.

    • Three Finger Salute

Again, they don’t understand how to boycott and, let’s face it, the sportsball entertainment industry is too broad and the wingtards too lazy to effectively organize a targeted campaign against the NFL & Co. They might be able to hurt an individual player or two like CK, but they can’t fired all the players. Otherwise there will be no football. But if they won’t to kill football, go ahead. It caused brain damage anyway.

It’s kinda funny how often, during the entirety of my life up to the past 8 months, I could go through entire days, sometimes weeks, without thinking about the president at all. Good or bad, they stayed out of my thoughts because I was able to assume they were doing their job, handling the nation’s business, whether I supported what they were doing or not.
Since 11/9/16, however, I can only sometimes go as much as twenty minutes in the morning before having Fuckface von Clownstick rise up like some shambling horror and infest my thoughts.
I think this is what he wants. He doesn’t care if we hate him, disagree with him, or wish fervently that he would go to prison, as long as we are thinking/talking about him. I’m getting goddamned sick of giving him what he wants, but there’s nothing I can do about it.

Was Francis Scott Key a time-traveler who knew we’d probably want to keep it around in case we decided to try again for a different outcome in the nuclear age?

It should be America the Beautiful. Can’t have that, because all that stuff about purple mountains and amber waves of grain sounds too tree-huggery. Not to mention, purple mountains are gay. This Land Is Your Land? Forget it, it was written by a communist! We wouldn’t even have it be that annoying Lee Greenwood one-hit wonder that was written as a “patriotic” fuck-you to Bruce Springsteen’s post-Vietnam protest song that Reagan misconstrued, because messing with it at all, let alone changing it to something else, is tantamount to retconning the Bible — which is exactly what the Founders didn’t want to happen. Germany doesn’t sing the Horst Wessel lied anymore, so why the fuck do we still have this?

The NFL owners think he’s a douchebag of the highest order, that’s why they wouldn’t let him buy a team back when he wanted to which resulted in the formation of the USFL which he then fucked right up, took the NFL court, won, but at the cost of his league, and only got a 3 dollar judgment.

32 teams. 32 owners. They wouldn’t let Donnie join their exclusive club. Smart move.

IKR? I saw that and all I could think of is “oh really? which ones?”

  • Mehmeisterjr

Aside: I was surprised that a number of broadcasters, many of them, in fact, didn’t know how to pronounce the word “dotard.”

I guess I spend too much time in my wasted youth reading Dickens, Fielding and Thackeray but I recognized it right away.

Is a North Korean dictator really better at English vocabulary than we are?

    • Eileen Besse

Same here. “Dohtard” is NOT a word. MW explains the pronunciation, for God’s sake, if they wanted “staff” to look it up….

      • redblack

that assumes that they give a shit about standards.

        they don’t.

    • OrdinaryJoe

      Yes.

  • Eileen Besse

At the beginning of the Global Citizen Festival on MSNBC, Joy Reid & Mark Cuban brought up Trump’s comments, Steph Curry’s and LeBron’s tweets. Cuban enthusiastically said that Trump “…opened up that door, and I’ll walk right through it!” All around good on civil disobedience being legal and all (much better than tiki torches). Considering the venue, I though it was wicked cool!

  • Alexander Stallwitz

I see we have return to Shut up and Sing” approach to celebrites who disagree with the direction of this nation again. IE. “We pay famous people huge amounts of money so they dont deserve to have opinions”. Not to be confused wiht “but the terrorists will win!” And the” blood of american soliders will on be on protestors hands! “

    • YoBunnyBunny

I’m of the opinion that if we are paying them lots of money, they ought to let us know how they feel, one way or the other. It would be more dishonorable to take money and remain silent. But these folks voted for a sloppy con artist, so naturally they wouldn’t care about something like this.

    • hanadora444

But some CEO’s get fabulous amounts of money as well, and they can have all the opinions they want.

      • Alexander Stallwitz

Oops, forgot the rich white men clause there

    • mrpuma2u

Yes the kneeling players are now getting the same treatment the Dixie Chicks got.

  • Of course Trump wants more brain damage. He wants to win the POPULAR vote next time.

    • Roadstergal

He doesn’t like people who are smarter than him.

      • theCryptofishist

Him and Iosef Stalin both. Stalin is smarter than him, otherwise Trump would adore him.

  • Resistance Ftr PuckStopsHere

I think he just doesn’t fully grasp the issue. Permitting your average NFL Defensive End one shot (one would be enough, believe me) unabated to the big pussy would sufficientlyou enlighten him just as soon as he regained consciousness and changed the underwear a pants he had just shat in.

    • mancityRed6

yeah, but could he do it on skates?

      • theCryptofishist

        Or backwards, in heels?

I couldn’t, (still can’t), get over how HUGE they were/are!!
It was at a restaurant, and bottles of beer and burgers looked like toys!
(And this is from someone with a 6’9″ dad and brother that are 6’10” and 6″5″!)
I can’t imagine seeing one of those guys coming for you!

I think that the Cleveland Browns and the New York Knicks are more popular than Trump can ever aspire to be.

Because Trump knows what it’s like to be hit by charging linemen during his illustrious football career….

Who does Trump think he’s messing with?

  • anomie

Weirdly enough,I would say Trump exhibits symptoms of first- and second-stage chronic traumatic encephalopathy and maybe even a couple stage 3 symptoms, although this is just his natural state. But maybe that’s why he doesn’t think it’s such a big deal?

    • JoeChristmas

      Indistinguishable from dotardism.

  • stankbait

Trump has a grudge against the NFL. He was a TEAM OWNER in the USFL.
He won a lawsuit against the NFL and the judge awarded him $1. Seriously.
He now gets to piss down the backs of the players and owners to fulfill his childish
    desires!

    • eastcoastlib

The NFL and Trump are a match made in hell. Each rich, arrogant, mean and ugly to their core. Fuck them both. The NFL is losing their precious TV audience because most people realize supporting this sort of evil empire is wrong no matter how much they may enjoy the games themselves.

    • Trump pretty much killed the USFL, too. The league was set up to play in the spring and summer, when there wasn’t any football. No competition! But Trump pressured / bullied all the other owners to shifting to a fall schedule, where they’d be competing directly with the NFL and colleges. No wonder the USFL tanked.

  • hanadora444

Another first for Trump. First president to come out in favor of brain damage.

    • Vagenda and Pee-ara

Could be because he’s not just the president of the brain dead, he’s a member, too.

      • roberteye

He has a special empathy with the brain damaged

      • Weird Fishes

Which is why I did it. :)

  • I would pay to see people tackle Trump and his family. With votes of course.

    • phoenix00

Hillary did tackle him, but was called on a technicality.

  • Vagenda and Pee-ara

I love LeBron James, and I’d love to see him beat the hell out of Trump…in a sportsball competition.

    • phoenix00

My money’s on LeBron in ANY competition, sports or not.

  • Shawn Renee Ernoehazy

I heard the report about CTE on NPR this week. My brother has had his son in tackle football since he was in first grade. My nephew is now 16, his plan for college is to play football. I asked him what he plans to study and he really had no educational plans. I suggested Sports Medicine or Physical Therapy; I told him it would be a way to be around football while keeping his brain intact. My brother thought it was a ridiculous idea. My nephew is a smart kid, I am glad my brother is at least encouraging him to go to college, but single focus on football is dumb. I would push a career in modeling if fame is what they want. He is handsome as well. Both options are as likely without an actual career goal.

    • sarafina

Are your brother and nephew aware of the CTE issue?

  • Zach Williams

I’ve said for years that American football is a lot like two rams charging into each other to gain the approval of females.
The NFL, to their credit, has made at least a small effort to stop that assumption and now here’s Trump, wanting to go back to it.
This is one of the reasons I never took up sports. Football gives you dangerous concussions, hockey usually ends with a shit ton of broken ribs on both sides and don’t get me started on how many broken legs soccer has caused. There’s a reason we have all these “restrictive and boring” safety rules. Because if we didn’t, all the players would be in the hospital and then football would be even more boring.

    • Persistent Tennessee Rain

Gymnasts, like myself at one time, would say, “if gymnastics was easier, it would be called football.” And while gymnasts have been known to suffer catastrophic injuries and death, it is not on the level of football.

  • Cranky Man

Tell you what. I love the national anthem. I cried like a baby, Jan 20th 1993, standing in the middle of Pennsylvania Ave, Washington DC. Proudly representing the great state of Colorado.
However, until he’s not the POTUS, I’m kneeling also. If pence or anyone else pardons him, I’m marching on the Capitol.

  • NotDarkYet

I really don’t understand what is so disrespectful by kneeling. One kneels in church. In the church of football, one can’t kneel?

    • Brian Fowler

I don’t get it either, but he must be doing something (besides being black). Otherwise, why would it even be an issue?

(Unless it IS just him being black).

    • Persistent Tennessee Rain

Have Tommie Smith and John Carlos weighed in on this yet?

      • NotDarkYet

They probably thought this shit wouldn’t have to be protested anymore by now …

  • Botlrokit

I agree, actually, with Trump here. Let ’em hit hard, let ’em hit fast. And let ’em dope up. I watch zero games because none of these testosterone pageants affect my life in any way.

  • JustPixelz (((Ω)))

Trump penis lavager Jack Kingston explained on CNN that Kapernick is paid $14million so should stand up. To him, only low-wage $13million players may express their views during the national anthem.

But wait! There’s more. He went to say he watches the game to see kicking, running and passing. (But not concussions. LOCK HIM UP!) So his complaint isn’t the kneeling; it’s the national anthem itself — it has no kicking, running or passing.

  • Botlrokit

Confederate states should adopt the Buffalo Bills as their familiar team. Lost four fucking years in a row.

  • Poly_Ester

Some one should tell Trump that our National Anthem begins, “Jose can you see….” You’ll never catch trumpkins singing it again.

People keep talking about the graceful athleticism of football, but, like car racing, the only thing that interests the fans are the crashes.

  • CeeQ

Fucking piece of shit racist asshole.

Ok fine Donald. You come here, strap on this helmet and let 200+ lb defenders tackle you repeatedly over the course of 4 quarters once a week for 17 weeks, not including pre season with nary a care for excessive force or trauma. Let’s see how your brain looks like after a few seasons of this.

OH WAIT. Your brain is clearly already mush because you have no shred of humanity left.

      • phoenix00

        And that’s not even politics.

  • mailman27

As a serial abuser of the court system, this idiot should be aware that the NFL is looking down the barrel of a terminal case of lawsuits by the families of prematurely deceased brain-damaged athletes. Pardon the mixed metaphors. FFS

  • JoeChristmas

The Univ of Alabama papers should all take a knee. Saban, Dotard, and the Trumptards couldn’t do a thing.

  • Cat Cafe for the Prosecution

The most offensive, heinous part of this is that Colin Kaepernick is kneeling IN PROTEST OF black men being murdered by cops. So the full meaning of what Trump and his racists mouthbreathers are saying is that they should be able to murder black men with impunity, and to prevent them from standing up against it. They are coming from the same lack of morality and humanity that slave-owners did. They are appalling.

  • Wait a minute! I thought kneeling during the anthem was protesting police brutally murdering unarmed black people without any consequences besides the inconvenience of being given desk duty and sitting through an air conditioned trial at tax payer expense. I didn’t think anyone was protesting the anthem or disrespecting the flag. Did I miss something here?

    • javadavis

      Looks pretty spot-on to me.
Therefore, if you missed something it is either an inability for Trump to emphasize with peasants in distress because only rich privileged white dudes are important enough to be allowed to protest or to have the right to free speech – or – the fact (alluded to elsewhere in this thread) that Mueller has started to take legal actions beyond gathering evidence has Trump looking for anything and everything to act as a shiny object.
      Maybe both.
      Just my opinion.

      • There is evidence to suggest that Mueller has issued a secret indictment against Manafort. I guess that has the Ol’ Pussy Grabber shitting in Melania’s corn flakes.

    • Odd Jørgensen

Nope, just the mouthbreathing hordes saying it`s disrespecting something that was never protested.

  • YayConspiracy

Trump: Obey, or you’ll be fired.

and the Leader leads another revolt. Sadly for Fearless it is the Players in revolt, many more take a knee in London, both on the Ravens and the Jaguars. during the US Anthem.

They did remain standing for “God Save the Queen”. Heads will explode at that touch.

  • Jack

Lots of flack headed the Trumpanzy’s way as the NFL and NBA point out his stupidity. The Steelers and the Ravens/Jaguars, and how many others will send him a giant “FUCK YOU TOO” today?

  • guest1331now

Someone’s likely already linked this, but http://www.thedailybeast.com/fox-and-friends-cant-believe-nfl-players-protesting-least-racist-country-in-the-history-of-humankind?yptr=yahoo

Fox and Friends Weekend host Pete Hegseth has lucidly explained (miracles are real!) why we should ALL TAKE THE KNEE: “if you have a white supremacist in the White House, then you have free rein to do whatever you want [in the way of protesting], everyone should take a knee. This is a cultural battle right now.”

Hogseth of course does not believe Trump — or anyone else in the White House — is a racist, so he then makes a statement that is an accurate a litmust test — FOR RACISM! “This is the least sexist, least racist, most free, most equal, most prosperous country in the history of humankind.” Only a racist, conscious or not, full of evil will or ‘well-intentioned’, could agree with that statement.
