Oh my, “journalist” James O’Keefe is at it again, releasing edited videos of people saying VERY IMPORTANT SECRET THINGS. Springing off his recent successes, like the time he “caught” Hillary Clinton staffers not selling campaign t-shirts to Illegal Canadian Messicans, or the time he successfully convinced (no scare quotes necessary this time) some folks in North Carolina that he’s a bathroom sex pervert, O’Keefe announced he was sending his most talented “undercover reporters” into Fake News Organizations like “ABC and NBC” and noted newspapers “Google, Twitter and Facebook,” in order to EXPOSE them for the FRAUDS they DEFINITELY ARE.

Up to now, he hadn’t found any ACORNS (Haha get it? Like a squirrel that finds a nut that has the same name as the legal, above-board organization O’Keefe destroyed with his dishonest “work”!) beyond some CNN reporters having a discussion about science being real, but that was then and this is now! O’Keefe pulled his Dildo Lube Boat up to the CNN studios once again, and managed to seduce the CNN cleaning lady a UPS delivery boy this one intern named Fran who’s just like so stoked for this opportunity a CNN MEDICAL PRODUCER into saying he thinks the Trump-Russia story is kind of “bullshit.” Or maybe he didn’t really say that at all. Considering O’Keefe’s history of editing secret videotape to make it look like people said things they didn’t say, one can never know.

But regardless, here is a video, the first in O’Keefe’s “American Pravda” series, for you to LOL at. It is CNN producer John Bonifield, who works in the MEDICAL UNIT, saying he’s not a big fan of all these Russia stories:

PROJECT VERITAS “JOURNALIST”: But honestly, you think the whole Russia shit is just, like, bullshit?

BONIFIELD: Could be bullshit. I mean, it’s mostly bullshit right now. Like, we don’t have any giant proof.

And then Bonifield went back to doing feel-good stories about people who in wheelchairs learning how to stand up. Awwwww! That’s nice! Russia expert right here, y’all!

Now look, we’re not saying Bonifield is dumb or bad in any way. As we stated, it’s entirely possible O’Keefe has severely and dishonestly edited his words. It’s also not a crime against America for a CNN medical reporter to be skeptical about a story coming out of a different department in his network.

Let’s look at more quotes, where Bonifield definitively proves that the Russia story is TOTALLY FAKE NEWS, like Donald Trump says:

I just feel like they don’t really have it but they want to keep digging.

He FEELS like.

And so I think the president is probably right to say, like, look, you are witch hunting me. Like, you have no smoking gun, you have no real proof.

Neither does this James O’Keefe video. Of course, Woodward and Bernstein didn’t have the SMOKING GUN or whatever when they started pursuing the Watergate story either. But you know, it’s OK if John Bonifield doesn’t know that. Maybe he should stick to playing with the stethoscopes he gets as party favors for doing his very important stories about how Olds don’t need to get their butt canals checked as often as they think they do.

Unless O’Keefe has edited his words down so far they’re unrecognizable at this point, which is, again, entirely possible.

Or maybe Bonifield is kind of A Idiot:

Even if Russia was trying to swing an election, we try to swing their elections, our CIA is doing shit all the time, we’re out there trying to manipulate governments.

Ah, the “both sides do it, so it’s totally cool” argument.

We also learn other OMG WHOA information in the video, like for instance how CNN head Jeff Zucker told the team to get back to work investigating the Trump-Russia story after they had covered Trump pulling out of the Paris climate accord for a day and a half. THE FUCK? Where does he get off, trying to give his news room direction like that? What is he, the CEO? (He is the CEO.)

Also, Bonifield is just pretty sure that if there was any THERE there with the Russia investigation, it would have already leaked, because come on, aren’t there just so many leaky leaks? It’s not like we’re dealing with highly compartmentalized, code word level classified intelligence or anything, oh wait we are.

Of course, O’Keefe released this just in time for CNN to be recovering from an actual fuck-up in the Russia investigation, which the network has fully owned up to. But, as Wonk pal Charlie Pierce writes, that doesn’t mean O’Keefe’s latest edition of Jack Off Journalism is worth shit.

Now if he manages to get the barista who sells Rachel Maddow coffee in the morning on secret videotape, THAT would be a story. Fire up the dildo lube boat, O’Keefe’s going to 30 Rock!

    Meanwhile, in real news:

Hours before the White House issued an ominous warning to Syria’s dictator against launching another chemical assault, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson gave the same message to Bashar Assad’s patron in Moscow, The Daily Beast has learned. …

All this occurred this week as President Donald Trump displayed what two White House officials characterized as relative indifference and passivity towards the subject, instead opting to focus his public and private energies towards fuming at his domestic enemies in the Democratic Party and the “fake news.”

Time frame gets compressed after that – Senate’s only in session 15 days, then they’re gone for all of August, and by that point the tax “reform” group will be screaming like banshees that nothing’s been done.

      • Joe Beese

Obamacare will never be safe as long as there are 52 Republicans in the Senate. But this was probably McConnell’s best shot.

If this is true, it’s the best news we could have hoped for.

    • Anna Elizabeth Tank Grrl

So, did calls and eMails have an effect?

      • jesterpunk

I doubt it with McConnell. Its more likely that the senate has the same kind of assholes the house has who are mad this doesnt kill as many poor people quickly enough.

        • Covfefe

I personally do not know any Republicans who want to kill people they don’t know. They just don’t care, one way or their other.

          • jesterpunk

They are all for wars all the time no matter if its even the right country. Remember after 9/11 when Shrub let Bin Laden’s family leave the US on private jets then invaded Iraq? They also want tax cuts for the rich in this bill and even included cost savings due to people dying younger?

          • Lefty Wright

Yeah. If the boat is sinking and they need to lighten the load, throw women, children and the disabled overboard before you ditch the cargo. If they were meant to live, they will float. No sense in ruining a perfectly good load of Nike apparel.

    • jesterpunk

But they want to investigate Hillary’s emails and Benghazi again because the first 500 hearings didnt find any evidence of anything illegal.

    • Covfefe

There may not be any hard evidence on the public record, but there are publicly known facts strong enough to warrant a cautious and prudent person to investigate the question.

      • Slamtundra

Yes, none on the public record. These people keep saying there’s no evidence but in point of fact, there ain’t no tellin’ what Bobby an’ them’s got. I ain’t no lawyer and I ain’t no cop, but it doesn’t seem likely that they would announce it all will-nilly.

    • Slamtundra

No evidence, no evidence, you’re the evidence.

    • Pre-Existing Condition Jack

Yeah, the whole point of an investigation is to find enough evidence for a conviction. As a man whose been investigated a time or two, that I KNOW of, that’s exactly how it works.

I was investigated by the FBI for a bank robbery 23 years ago. A guy I knew called in a tip in order to get a reward. Two agents came by and acted all like I was really guilty. Swore it was me, even though the guy got caught on camera, had short hair (had long hair then too), was a foot shorter than me, a hundred pounds heavier and got hit that morning with a dye pack.

So, yeah, that’s an investigation for ya.

    • rooster2k2

I agree, we interfere (usually for the wrong fucking reason) with other countries’ elections all the time. We always ended up fucking up those countries really, really good, Honduras comes to mind. We can all agree that interfering with elections, in any country, is immoral, illegal and fucked up. In other words, Fuck Putin, and the CIA both.

    • TundraGrifter

From the end of WWII until some time in the 1990’s, the CIA financed the conservative party of Japan. Fun fact to know and to share!

      • georgiaburning

And it’s called the “Liberal Democratic Party” Perfect cover!

  • ariel_gee_398

We should all chip in and buy a camera and hire a journalist or four to follow O’Keefe around 24/7. We can call it Operation Derpscue. We can make a big show of having video of O’Keefe failing to wash his hands after using the bathroom. It’d be more accurate and add more of value to our national discourse than anything he’s ever released.

  • JMP

At least the right-wing mainstream media finally got burned enough times as the latest O’Keefe “scoop” was yet again proven to be a complete lie that they’ve finally stopped credulously repeating his bullshit.

  • Vagenda and Pee-ara

“It’s always possible that there’s only smoke, no fire, and Trump will yet save himself, his party, and his country. Perhaps he won’t fire Robert Mueller. Perhaps Mueller will determine that Trump is not guilty of collusion with the Russians (with Trump’s voluntarily released tax returns as confirming evidence) or of obstruction of justice. Perhaps he will uncover no untoward financial dealings or subversive collaborations with the Kremlin and its network by any of the president’s men. Perhaps the courts will find Trump not guilty of violating the “emoluments clause” that restricts a president from profiting from office. (This last was debated as a possible article of impeachment for Nixon.) Perhaps Trump will stay out of trouble, stay off Twitter, miraculously avoid perjury, brilliantly staff up the executive branch, and deliver fabulously on his promises to secure cheap health care for all Americans, cut everyone’s taxes, and rebuild America’s infrastructure. Perhaps Jared Kushner will bring peace to the Middle East and reinvent American government rather than follow his father to prison.

What’s more likely is that the Trump administration will continue to mirror Garry Wills’s description of Nixon’s: “a world of little men using large powers incompetently from a combination of suspicion and panic.” The little men will continue to drive the country into a ditch. And GOP leaders will look the other way right up to that moment when Republicans in the 60 to 80 districts (according to FiveThirtyEight) more competitive than those in last week’s special elections figure out that they may have to choose between the minority of voters who are Trump’s irreducible base and a larger group, including Independents, who will determine whether they keep their jobs.”

“Looking back on it all, Elizabeth Drew would write, “In retrospect, the denouement appeared inevitable — but it certainly didn’t feel like that at the time.” That’s how I remember it. Certainly such a denouement for Trump doesn’t feel inevitable now. But whatever the end proves to be, we cannot expect to have a real inkling until an impending election starts concentrating Republican politicians’ minds next summer. The best thing to do in the meantime is to keep calm, carry on with the resistance, and rest assured that the day is coming when we won’t have Trump to kick around anymore.”

There is no one Russia story. Let’s try to untangle the threads here.

Story #1 – Did the Russian government attempt to influence the American Presidential election?

Story #2 – If they did, why did they want Mr. Trump to win?

Story #3 – If they did, did any members of the Trump campaign staff collude with the Russians in the effort?

Story #4 – Why are so many members of the Trump Administration (including former campaign staff) so nervous about admitting their contacts with various officials of the Russian government? See: Sessions, Jeff. Page, Carter. Manafort, Paul. Stone, Roger. Flynn, Michael. Et al. Oh – and that pesky son-in-law.

Story #5 – Did the Trump Administration, starting with Mr. Trump himself, try to halt the investigations into Stories #1 – #4, above, or try to influence the outcome of those investigations? Was there a “cover up?” See Story #4, above, regarding Mr. Kushner.

Story #6 – BONUS – Did Mr. Trump or any members of his family have undisclosed financial dealings with Russian nationals that triggered Story #5, above?

To claim there is no evidence to warrant looking into any of these six stories is be an ultra maroon.

    • Resistance Fighter Astraea

    [The Guardian:
Trump lawyer’s firm steered millions in donations to family members, files show
Documents obtained by the Guardian reveal Jay Sekulow approved plans to push people to give to his Christian nonprofit, which then paid big sums to his family
    6/27/2017

More than 15,000 Americans were losing their jobs each day in June 2009, as the US struggled to climb out of a painful recession following its worst financial crisis in decades.

But Jay Sekulow, who is now an attorney to Donald Trump, had a private jet to finance. His law firm was expecting a $3m payday. And six-figure contracts for members of his family needed to be taken care of.

Documents obtained by the Guardian show Sekulow that month approved plans to push poor and jobless people to donate money to his Christian nonprofit, which since 2000 has steered more than $60m to Sekulow, his own family and their businesses.]

  • Pre-Existing Condition Jack

    Interesting wrinkle here:

Q: So what evidence does he have that President Obama was colluding or obstructing?

    Spicer:
Well, again, I think it comes back to this idea that they’ve been very
clear, they’ve been playing this card about blaming Trump and Russia.
And yet, at the same time, they were the ones who, according to this
report, knew about it and didn’t take any action.

    So the question
is, were they — if they didn’t take any action, does that make them
complicit? I think that there is a lot of questions that have to get
answered about who didn’t know what and when.

    If it
turns out that Trump aides knew absolutely nothing about Russian
meddling, then Spicer’s suggestion that the Obama administration was
“complicit” won’t hurt the White House at all. But if someone on Trump’s
team was even vaguely aware of Russian disruption, Spicer will have
    hamstrung the White House’s defense.

So what is NOT in that last bit is the fact that Michael Flynn already proves the “complicity” angle, so by the WH’s own definition, 45 colluded.

    • Villago Delenda Est

Rep. Jason Chaffetz wants a $2,500 housing stipend for members of Congress
    Jessica Estepa , USA TODAY Published 1:32 p.m. ET June 27, 2017 | Updated 1 hour ago

It’s expensive to live in Washington, D.C. But is it so expensive that you need a $2,500 housing stipend?

That’s the amount Rep. Jason Chaffetz believes lawmakers should get, according to a new report from The Hill. The full quote:

“Washington, D.C., is one of the most expensive places in the world, and I flat-out cannot afford a mortgage in Utah, kids in college and a second place here in Washington, D.C. I think a $2,500 housing allowance would be appropriate and a real help to have at least a decent quality of life in Washington if you’re going to expect people to spend hundreds of nights a year here. …There are dozens upon dozens of members living in their offices, and I don’t know how healthy that is long term.”

So, some quick math. $2,500 a month equals $30,000 a year. There are 435 representatives, 100 senators, five delegates and one resident commissioner to account for (all of whom make a salary of $174,000 every year). That amounts to about $16,230,000 in housing stipends.]

From what information that I have gotten, it looks like the Russians were connecting to databases containing voter registration data. If the voter registration data was tampered with, it’s reasonable to be suspicious that voters may have had their registration records invalidated. If that’s that case, the Interstate Crosscheck program would have caused voters to be turned away from the polling places or have their mail-in ballots invalidated. So, votes themselves were not tampered with, instead voters were unable to vote in the first place.

      This is not rocket surgery.

OT: McConnell pulled the heathcare vote. They say it’s just a delay, but it’s probably a combination of not having the votes and a shit storm of opposition pouring in on the heads of vulnerable Senators. Now comes the real dirty business of buying votes by pushing back the effects of this piece of garbage bill until at least 3 voting cycles have passed.

Gotta be a troll account. My upvote/comment ratio is only that bad when I troll Infowars.

        • Persistent Tennessee Rain

Trolling troll being trolling troll. Big surprise.

          • Pisto75666

Can we send a strongly worded letter to the troll factory? They’re hardly sending us their best or brightest anymore. More like boring and tedious.

          • Persistent Tennessee Rain

Yeah, I come here to get away from stupid people, not to have them shove their inanity in my face.

          • Pisto75666

Well it’s not so much the stupid people. It’s the internet, I expect that. But they’re not even entertaining!

          • Persistent Tennessee Rain

The only ones I truly find entertaining are the ones who are able to add to my collection of malapropisms. I had one tell me that muslims need to simulate if they want to fit in. I shit you not.

          • Pisto75666

It’s so hard to find a good dictionary in troll country.

          • Natalie Au Natural Hedonist

I read that as stimulate, shows where my mind wanders.

          • Pisto75666

It took me a minute to realize you spelled it that way on purpose. I had a well thought out response too!

          • Hamilton Ω, AKA Formerly DN

Due to lack of funds, failing infrastructure resulted in the bridge falling down on top of the troll factory. Said factory has not been fully repaired yet. Therefore, the factory’s output has an even higher than normal defect rate.

          • Pisto75666

            It’s always the infrastructure!

          • Pre-Truth Ron

I think we should see about offshoring for our troll supply. I mean, I support domestic troll production, but they’re just not making the quality ones here any more.

          • Pisto75666

Well that’s to be expected. You hire only the richest workers, the production and quality levels go down. That and all the troll worker jobs are going away.

        • Pre-Truth Ron

Bet you a cookie those are all self-upvotes too.

          • C4TWOMAN

            No bet.

    • Longstreet63

Wonkette just thinks they should clean themselves.

    • Persistent Tennessee Rain

They don’t. It’s just that cleaning women aren’t known for being “in the know.” Do you have any other stupid questions? Oh and for the record, you aren’t even half as clever as you seem to think you are.

      • Matt Hunter

you aren’t even half as clever as you seem to think you are.?…oh…so I am more than half?

        • Persistent Tennessee Rain

Thank you for making my point.

        • Goposaur

          at least 5% of half

      • Skaarphy

        Finally someone said it!

    • Persistent Tennessee Rain

Are you being intentionally obtuse or are you just a dumbfuck?

    • Hamilton Ω, AKA Formerly DN

I am quite sure that to a sufficiently simple-minded person, Wonkette’s mention of cleaning women in the context of the fucking article could be interpreted as “pushing down” on cleaning women. I might try dusting off a different hobby horse in this case but whatever creams your corn.

I for one always have had a soft spot for French maids. (And a hard spot, also too.)

      • Persistent Tennessee Rain

        Bonjour!

    • Pre-Truth Ron

Why do you have such a HIGH opinion of yourself that you upvoted your own post? Seriously, you lot are just phoning it in now.

    • SeeTrain65

      Damn, I love Deven Green.

  • Ilgattomorte

In O’Keefe’s next exciting video, he exposes the lies and abuse at CNN in an exclusive undercover video with the craft services guy, a bathroom attendant and Phil, some guy who works somewhere in the building. He shows that if all of their employees don’t believe CNN’s stories they must be fake.

O’Keefe would know this, because he’s in charge of Project Veritas and Veritas means “Truth”. Of course, Project means “low cost subsidized housing”, so I guess taken together, it shows his company is a low-rent shelter for wealthy sponsors, truly.

  • Alrighty then. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has just told the American people and the press (during her live White House briefing) to watch the O.keefe video as a response to the CNN “fake news” story. “America should be outraged”.

    U.F.B.

    • alpacapunchbowl

Oh I’m outraged allright, just not at what this knockoff muppet is telling me to be outraged about.

    • mfp

on the other hand, the next reporter dude–in the electric blue tie-read her the riot act…best takedown of a WH press sec i’ve probably ever seen

  • mfp

i know this is gonna be stunning news to each and every wonker, but with everything else going on today, the first question lobbed at sarah H sanders on the Televised (why’s that, i wonder) WH news brief just now, was about this fucking video

    • JustDon’tSayShank

      This is my shocked face.

(This is not my shocked face)

      • mfp

although the next reporter up, the guy with the electric blue tie, absolutely raked her over the coals…it was a thing o beauty

        • JustDon’tSayShank

I can’t watch that shit. My TV costed too many moniez to be throwing the remote at it all the time.

        • Pisto75666

Watching this right now. My God that was GLORIOUS. And this woman having the nerve to call the news media dishonest.Trump’s entire administration is made OF dishonesty! (We all know this, I just felt the need to vent.)

          • mfp

yeah…and never mind that she was whining ‘enhhhh bluto, the media’s dishonest while simultaneously defending this latest james o’keefe stupidity

          • Pisto75666

Honestly, I don’t know how these press secretaries look themselves in the mirror. It’s disgusting. And that no one else agreed with that reporter.

          • mfp

yeah, that was kinda aggravating…the perfect opp for 97 other reporters to jump all over that shit and….

          • Pisto75666

Well they had two years (more or less) to jump on the shit coming from the Orange Shitgibbon and we know how that turned out. Can’t say I’m surprised, really.

I am putting most of today in the “win” category. The bill is held up despite Donnie tweeting all night/morning in what was a clear attempt to hijack the news cycle. He failed at that, yuge. Low energy! Sad!

All that effort blinked away because we do actually care more about our healthcare than about CNN, or whatever was on Fox and friends, or any of the other 17 tweets and retweets he tried to distract us with in the last 24 hours. Seventeen statements in 24 hours, only one about this cruel bill. That tells us he wanted us distracted from it.

For now, the orange idiot slumbers. His twitter gaining crickets and his petty little acolytes forced into retreat. They will all be back tomorrow, or maybe even tonight. We will be ready then as well. Wars are not one by number of battle victories, they are won though attrition. We are wearing him down. We are the thorns in HIS side. We are the ones he can never touch, the masses he can never win over. You know how he is. He could have a hundred million loyalists but will always lament the million that he will never have. Let’s make him lament greater. Let’s make this asshole regret having fucked with our people in the first place.

I say this now and am sure most who read will agree. We are absolutely out to destroy this presidency. We are out to send a message that people like him are not welcome in our most sacred position. This is our duty. We resist because there is much to protect. Never let them diminish our resistance. We need to take back the words stolen from us and come out and proud. We are liberals. We resist peacefully. We are your worst nightmare.

    • mfp

      beautiful

    • Natalie Au Natural Hedonist

Well said, keep inspiring and reminding us that we are in this together.

    • Pre-Truth Ron

Damn. You’re good at this ‘hopeful’ thing, man. I’m starting to think that we might just pull this off.

      • TBH, we’ll keep fighting whether or not we do. It is sort of our thing.

This assumes TV is still the primary source of information and entertainment….

      • Hamilton Ω, AKA Formerly DN

News should be news. Entertainment should be entertainment. I feel that most people who think they are getting cable “news” don’t realize that it’s being served up as “entertainment”.

        • C4TWOMAN

Definitely true. The entire move to cable/Internet was the biggest loophole exploitation ever in the history of media. Hearst would have been impressed at the sweeping chutzpah of bypassing the FCC and the Fairness Doctrine–when that still existed.

  • Matt Hunter

will CNN go the way of ACORN?..ha ha ha ha

  • bupkus231

I suppose by the time i get through more of the non-comments, I’ll have found someone who has talked about the asshole WH “touting” O’Keefe’s latest fuckvid ( and I don’t mean that in a “good way” ) in today’s “press briefing”…

Sarah Huckabee Sanders – you’re gonna burn just like the rest of the assholes you serve.

  • (((fka_donnie_d)))

    (For the umpteenth fucking time)

    He didn’t do it

But, if he did, it was totally legal

And, it was also totally Obama’s fault

  • Mike Steele

Why does this fool sneak around? He could have just asked Sarah Huckabilly; she knows what’s fake. While he’s over at the WH cesspool, he can raise his hand and ask about the casualties at Trump’s Potomac Golf Course and the Bowling Green Massacre, both of which were woefully underreported.

  • kaydenpat

O’Keefe is a journalist just like my pet Boxer is a brain surgeon. He really should be ignored. Or mocked without mercy.

    • SnarkON

      Boxer libel!

    • Zwadny Zigashits

      Boxers are such cool dogs.

  • Ducksworthy

I want to see the video where O’Queef demonstrates that gravity is just a Liberal hoax.

  • SnarkON

You know what the true beauty of this dumb video is? It exposes the shocking truth that journalists are personally biased but are able to keep those biases in check for the most part. This producer’s *opinion* of the Russia story is not actually keeping CNN from reporting on it.

    • Michelle Kirkwood

Well, it’s just that–his opinion. Dude obviously didn’t know that he was secretly being filmed, or he wouldn’t have said all that—that’s definitely my impression. Also, he’s not a reporter reporting the news,so like I said, it’s just his opinion. It dosen’t prove anything, and he’s just one person–he certainly dosen’t represent everyone at CNN’s opinion about the Russian interference with our election. Also, being a news producer, he has to know that he investigation is still ongoing—just because they haven’t produced a smoking gun sure as hell dosen’t mean that they won’t find one. And, yeah, journalists keep their biases in check because they’re human just like anyone else, and (except at so-called Fox news) because it’s about the news, not about what they think.

And I love CNN and MSNBC, because they’re been critical of the idiot-in-chief from day one and calling him on his bullshit. I love that the idiot hates them too, because their job is not to kiss his ass 24-7 days a week, it’s to report the news. The orange one’s so used to having the media kiss his ass all these years he’s been a media attention whore, that’s why he can’t stand it since they started criticizing his obtuse ass. He still hasn’t got the memo that he can’t run the country like he ran his businesses, and clearly isn’t sophisticated enough to to play in the big political leagues, and refuses to learn how to be a actual president. Oh,well—he’ll just run this country into the ground like he did four of the businesses (the ones he declared bankruptcy on–remember those?)

  • This is so predictable. Find a mistake, relentless remind people of that mistake over and over and over and over again. Worse, make the news tellers the actual story.
Anyone remember Gore helping to start Superfund and how it became “Gore said he discovered Love Canal!!!!!”?
These fucks are pros at this shit. Queefer is “just sayin” the right wing media will repeat it, and the main stream media will be forced to repeat it because they are covering the controversy. Mix, repeat.

  • Delu

Trumpians attack media because their Trump overlords tell them to.

They don’t actually understand the media, as this episode proves, but that’s the main reason why Trump can get them to attack the media so easily.

The less people know about something, the easier it is to convince them to attack it.

    • The Librarian

I think the ignorance fuels fear. It’s either fight or flight. Trump tells them he’ll pay their legal fees, so they’ll fight rather than take the time to learn what they’re fighting for or against.

  • Paperless Tiger

They should ask him what he thinks of James O’Keefe. They’d get one of two answers:

    1. Who?
    2. He’s an asshole.

  • m3bosha

Earlier today I clicked on this O’Keefe (Covfefe perhaps!?!) story on another site and my computer got one of those “we are hijacking you” alerts from “Microsoft”. If you get one of these don’t click anything. Hard kill your computer, and when you restart run your anti virus scanner first before going back online. I wouldn’t want to blame O’Covfefe for this attack, but it would be irresponsible not to ask.

  • The Librarian

O’Keefe thinks he’s a master manipulator, a master of disguise, a master producer, all laughably proven false. I suspect his schumck isn’t even a master of his domain.

    • amrak63

He likes to bait the “librulz”, but he’s not even a master baiter.

    • Michelle Kirkwood

Honestly, when you look at how O’Keefe has lied and deliberately hurt people over the years by misrepresenting them and what they say, and how long he’s been doing this same shit (for just over a decade) I wouldn’t believe anything he says or anything he claims anybody says. He’s known for taking things people say while he films them and twisting it around to suit his own right-wing agenda purposes. And, yeah, he did help to destroy the non -profit ACORN, mainly because they helped poor and working-class folks get out the vote, by spreading this story about them enabling some supposed pimp to try and open a brothel or something. It was a fake story—here’s what really happened to them, with O’Keefe’s lies, and it was a damn shame, too:
