“Mr. Sensitive” over here, Barack Obama, has launched a creepy new website to tackle the various Smears about him that have reached unforeseen levels of ubiquity among AOL e-mail accounts. It features a number of neon blue bald eagles flying around for The Truth. It also calls GOP operative Roger Stone a “sleazemeister,” which is a pretty funny made-up word. And that’s why he’s a Muslim. [Fight the Smears]

Roger Stone — former CREEP dirty trickster, occasional Fox contributor, Al Gore fan — is trying to avoid blame for having called and abused Eliot Spitzer’s dad. He was forced to abandon his original alibi after it turned out there were no performances of Frost/Nixon that night. So, instead, he claims he was in Venice Beach, CA getting a tattoo of Richard Nixon’s face. Look, you can kind of see it in the mirror there. But don’t look too close! Your eyes will melt!

As a Republican, I could never back Mr. Gore’s election as President. But as a Nixonite, I see some uncanny parallels in the careers of the two former Vice Presidents. In fact, if Mr. Gore looks at Nixon’s strategy in 1968, he could end up in the White House after all.
