Father Forgive them, for they are dumb as fuck like whoa.
Father forgive them.

Hey, all you “nice” Trump supporters, the “not racist” ones who think everything will be OK because you’ve lived through lots of presidencies, and besides, you’re dumb and figured Trump wouldn’t really do lots of the stuff he said on the campaign trail, and you had to vote for him because what were you going to do, vote for Hitlery The Liar Criminal Emails Benghazi Whitewater Clinton Body Count? How you doin’ today? Everything running smoothly in “I’m A White Republican, Things ALWAYS Turn Out Okay For ME” land?

Here’s a story, about a memo drafted by the Trump administration and authored by Homeland Security chief John Kelly (maybe), who is supposedly one of the “saner” members of the regime:

The Trump administration is considering a proposal to mobilize as many as 100,000 National Guard troops to round up unauthorized immigrants, including millions living nowhere near the Mexico border, according to a draft memo obtained by The Associated Press.

The 11-page document calls for the unprecedented militarization of immigration enforcement as far north as Portland, Oregon, and as far east as New Orleans, Louisiana.

Hey, know who ELSE used the military to round up people a lot? HITLER LITERALLY DID THAT. And it was for “deportation,” too! Of course, sometimes those rounded up went to slave labor camps or concentration camps or were just murdered. Can’t imagine a nice boy like Donald Trump would ever authorize something like that! Just kidding, yes we can, because he’s a racist, vindictive weak man’s idea of a strong man, and we’re sure the pimply fuckstain known as President Steve Bannon is absolutely jizzing his crusty knickers at the idea.

Tell us more, Associated Press, because this story has broken our brain:

Governors in the 11 states would have a choice whether to have their guard troops participate, according to the memo, written by U.S. Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly, a retired four-star Marine general.

Hi, #Resistance. Know where you’re peacefully protesting if this happens? Sounds like governors’ mansions and state houses! Have fun, governors of all the border states and also Oregon, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana! There are some people who would like to share with you a piece of their mind.

Tell us even more, AP, because !!!!!!!!!!!!!:

…[T]he draft memo says participating troops would be authorized “to perform the functions of an immigration officer in relation to the investigation, apprehension and detention of aliens in the United States.” It describes how the troops would be activated under a revived state-federal partnership program, and states that personnel would be authorized to conduct searches and identify and arrest any unauthorized immigrants. […]

If implemented, the impact could be significant. Nearly one-half of the 11.1 million people residing in the U.S. without authorization live in the 11 states, according to Pew Research Center estimates based on 2014 Census data.

Use of National Guard troops would greatly increase the number of immigrants targeted in one of Trump’s executive orders last month, which expanded the definition of who could be considered a criminal and therefore a potential target for deportation. That order also allows immigration agents to prioritize removing anyone who has “committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense.”

Cool. Totally normal. For what it’s worth, Melissa McCarthy impersonator Sean Spicer tweeted that this is FAKE NEWS, so guess we shouldn’t worry, because Spicey is right 100% of the time:

WHEW! False alarm, we guess! Unless it’s not. Of course, it’s just a “memo,” so maybe it won’t happen. Or maybe the Trump regime leaked this out there to scare the shit out of some immigrants, and to outrage people, so whatever other vicious plan they have, whatever their real goal is, looks nice and reasonable in comparison.

But we have to do something, don’t we? Because Mexico is sending its worst rapists, some of whom Trump assumes are very nice people, right? There are MILLIONS OF THOUSANDS OF THEM, and the problem is just THAT BAD, is that correct? One more time, AP:

Trump’s immigration strategy emerges as detentions at the nation’s southern border are down significantly from levels seen in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Last year, the arrest tally was the fifth-lowest since 1972.

Oh.

Remember that beautiful and sad post Dok wrote yesterday, about refugees fleeing the United States for Canada, which is now the ACTUAL land of the free and home of the brave, whereas Trump’s America is the land of the scared white pussies and the home of Trump supporters pooping their pants when they see brown people? Go read it, white Christian Republicans, and ask yourself if Jesus would be OK with this.

SPOILER ALERT, no He wouldn’t, and also fuck you.

I said this last night when most were asleep, but I sort of understand this. I live about 5 miles from the vineyard. This is a liberal LIBERAL area with an all-Dem city council currently in the process of declaring ourselves a sanctuary city. Unemployment is very low in Charlottesville. The cost of living, however, is high. Those jobs likely come with two massive downsides: Low-paying and possibly having to admit to your neighbors you work for these jerkwads. I sincerely doubt there are local takers for those jobs, hence the visa applications.

So, yes. Irony. But frankly not surprising, as one who lives here.

      • Mary Sandoras

I’m guessing there might be a big enthusiasm gap for migrants wanting to work for Trump.

I don’t think anyone has a problem understanding why his request is probably wise and necessary for the business. Regardless, I won’t be enjoying your unasked for critiques any longer.

          • Jennifer R

No I understand in practice the national guard is going to be used to round up anyone that bannon does not like. When I said training we both knew what was meant.

Anyone who seriously considers activating the National Guard to round up immigrants is blind or a idiot or both. You look at a National Guard formation, what do you see? The Trumpenproletariat? No. The Guard has a PT test. (Think “flab limit.”). You see the sons, daughters, brothers and sisters of the immigrants you want to deport. You try to use the Guard for this mission you run a genuine risk of a mutiny. Think about this kids.

    • Mavenmaven

I think Trump is being clever. By deploying the National Guard domestically it gives him reason to bring thousands of National Guard troops back from Afghanistan and Iraq without people calling him weak.

  • Bill Slider

It may be fake news, because it is not yet official policy of the Trump Administration. It may qualify as not news, as many of us have been anticipating reading, pretty much, just such a statement. By the time it is policy, and I have no doubt that it will be, and soon, it will not be news, but history. So will perhaps 5 or 6 million people that once lived in the US of A. Bull shit you say, how did I turn Trump’s 3 million he wants to deport into 6 million, easy. Those 3 million have jobs. Once you deport the one earning a living, you have their girl friend/wife. They are not celebit. They have perhaps two US citizen children. Four times three is 12. Reduce that number by half, as they don’t all have a family here. Twelve divided by two is 6 fucking million people. That is a very conservative estimate of people either deported by Trump, or self deporting to survive and keep the family together. Eight million would be both realistic and very defensible as total deported, one way or another. That will make America Great Again, how? Empty houses, empty apartments, businesses with no workers, and no customers. An 11 state economic depression is not a great again idea.

    1. You know where this stuff is coming from, Wonketteers?

“Brilliant Ideas in Management” – 20 years or so ago, included the head

whatever came out of their ass, and “running it up a flagpole, and see
    who salutes”.

That’s what he’s doing – he, and Bannon, and a few
others sit around a table, and come up with fantasy ideas, and see what
gets shot down the instant it leaks.

    2. Let’s see, governors have a say. He mentioned California and Oregon. I can’t *imagine* what Gov. Jerry Brown would say to that idea, no, no, not at all…..

Good luck to all the snow hungry unauthorized immigrants headed that way… Yeesh… Jesus said “render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s”. I’m sure we can all advocate the deconstruction of law in our land and free movement of all people on this earth. Bar char char…. Heard it all and its argument is not rooted in “our” values, but rather, its rooted in the expectation that we lay down our standards for the ever increasing “rights” of citizens of any country and especially not our own. I’m sure it will bring anger to your heart, consider it for a time and tell me we need not pursue those who break our trust and come to our land under false word. There is no honor in coming here without our invitation. Never seen such outrage at enforcing a simple law. COME LEGALLY.

Son, if we are quoting the Bible as evidence:

Matthew 25:31-46, New American Bible translation

31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne,

32 and all the nations will be assembled before him. And he will
separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from
      the goats.

33 He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are
blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the
      foundation of the world.

35 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me,

36 naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’

37 Then the righteous will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?

38 When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?

39 When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’

40 And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever
you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’

41 Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you accursed,
into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

42 For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink,

43 A stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.’

44 Then they will answer and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or
thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to
      your needs?’

45 He will answer them, ‘Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.’

46 And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

        Romans 13:1-5 ESV / 251 helpful votes

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience.

Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.

You have already acknowledged that you are not a Christian, so I will condense Jesus’ teachings for you:

          Mark 12:28, 30-31

One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’
The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

        • Keith Taylor

Uh huh. Now I’m not a Christian, and while I could probably quote this, that and the other passage from the New Testament to support just about any point of view I wanted to promote, which wouldn’t prove much, I know which of the passages cited above I prefer.
It’s pretty much accepted by Christians that the teachings and example of Jesus are the basis for their faith, above and beyond any others. Taking the view (far from certain) that he really did say and do the things ascribed to him in the Gospels, we’re left with the fact that by the time the Gospels were written, the early Church had to face the fact that it wasn’t going to make much headway among the Jews, and must either go to the pagan Greco-Roman world — the Empire — for its converts, or see its new religion die on the vine. Paul of Tarsus had most to do with that policy, and he was the perfect man to make the new faith acceptable to the Roman authorities. He was Jewish by descent, but both his parents and he were Roman citizens, Paul at any rate by birth. Paul did more to create what we call Christianity than Jesus of Nazareth ever did. Hence his exhortation to recognize the authorities, as “the powers that be are ordained of God.” He also recommended that anyone who was converted as a slave should not be set free on that account; how could he, when slavery was one of the Empire’s biggest institutions? Spartacus? The hell with him. As for “the powers that be” having their authority from God … would that apply to Nero, Caligula and Tiberius? Paul carefully doesn’t mention their records. He was a truckling pragmatist in my book.

          Best quote i’ve ever seen.

    • Dazza

Son, the word is ‘borders’, not ‘boarders.’

Migrants are not receiving government benefits in preference to you, in fact they pay taxes which support you without drawing any benefit.

      From http://www.tolerance.org/immigration-myths
” Undocumented immigrants pay taxes every time they buy
gas, clothes or new appliances. They also contribute to property taxes—a main
source of school funding—when they buy or rent a house, or rent an apartment. The
U.S. Social Security Administration estimated that in 2013 undocumented
immigrants—and their employers—paid $13 billion in payroll taxes alone for
benefits they will never get. They can receive schooling and emergency medical
care, but not welfare or food stamps.”

      • dshwa

Not to mention our produce prices would spike without undocumented migrant workers picking them. When Georgia cracked down 2 years ago, their crops actually rotted in the fields.

      • Son of the American Revolution

There it is, your reply goes down in history as a…… spell check. I fell destroyed… See additional replys and comments for self correction of the issues at hand in my post. The issue you want to discuss is a complex web of taxation and benefits. Skip it and go right back to the law, there it is, right in front of your face, the law.

        • Dazza

Then cite the law – in full. Right here, right now. We’ll wait.

        • Mike Steele

The law does not permit POTUS to receive/accept any compensation from foreign govts while in office, so what say we remove the Secret Service detail from Uday and Qusay while they’re doing the family ‘bidness’ in Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Dubai, etc. particularly since TrumpCo is now theirs alone (‘scuse me…had to gag) and not the responsibility of the US taxpayer, amirite? Oh, and while Donald’s busy rolling back all regulations, it’s WAY past time he brought all those TRUMP MERCHANDISE jobs back to the homeland before chanting USA. BTW, it’s ‘replies’…

        • John Smith

Hey brother, check out identityevropa.com and altright.com if you haven’t heard of them already. Great sites, great organizations, a great education!

    • honey, i don’t think ‘render unto caesar’ means what you think it means. you should consider bible classes.

      • Son of the American Revolution

I never did like being called honey, just condescending I guess. See the reply I posted with a more poignant response regarding biblical “recommendations”. We can say all day, be good to your fellow man, bottom line is, we have a system that grants generous access to our nation already. The unauthorized immigrants have broken this accord and are due the full force of the law they disregarded. That’s it, nothing more, nothing less, law. Law rules our great nation. You can say, those poor people, we need to help them. I agree, but not while our law is discarded for their personal gain.

Note- I’m actually not a Christian. Go figure right. I cited the Bible due the articles rather crude, Jesus would not approve, reference. Left using the Bible is just poor judgement.

        • yup that’s why i used the term ‘honey’.

        • Dazza

Son, the “Left” consists of Christians, too. Some of whom take Jesus’s instructions about loving your neighbour as yourself very seriously indeed.

        • Dazza

Son, just being in the country with an expired visa doesn’t make a person a criminal. Being tried in a civil or criminal court and receiving a conviction earns the sobriquet ‘criminal’ appended to him/herself.

Undocumented Immigrants do the jobs native-born Americans won’t.

“In the United States, two trends—better education and an aging population—have resulted in a decrease in the number of Americans willing or available to take low-paying jobs. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, close to 26 million foreign-born people, or 17 percent of the country’s labor force, worked in the United States in 2014. These workers are more likely to be employed by the service industry, while native-born workers are more likely to hold jobs in management, professional, sales and office occupations.

To fill the void of low-skilled American workers, employers
often hire immigrant workers. One of the consequences, unfortunately, is that it is easier for unscrupulous employers to exploit this labor source and pay immigrants less, not provide benefits and ignore worker-safety laws. On an economic level, Americans benefit from relatively low prices on food and other
goods produced by undocumented immigrant labor.” http://www.tolerance.org/immigration-myths

          • elgeezr

If one is in the habit of committing, rape, murder or robbery are they then none of those things because they haven’t been prosecuted as with your example of the expired visa? Here in Calif, most construction work, like roofing, painting, street work, is done by illegals. The service industry jobs are populated, mostly by legal immigrants and young people. Do you know the meaning of the word research Dazza? Try it. Google is your friend.

          • Dazza

Elgeezer, I think a reading primer is your friend because I addressed the issue you raised directly above. Undocumented migrants do the jobs native-born people won’t – the casual day-labour, menial service and dangerous jobs Americans won’t because the work is insecure, and poorly-paid.

And Elgeezer – what you see everyday as you go about your business is not the same as evidence. The quotation from the website I cited above comes from an educational website put up by the Southern Poverty Law Centre. I recommend it to you.

        • guy

You’re the kind of person that I like to refer to as a “polite asshole.”

I agree, you do fly your flag a little brighter than I. No matter, in the presence of ignorance one has little need to respond with valid argument. Insert desired name calling “here”. There I’m sure you are more creative than me, after all, you actually believe in fairy tales from the msm.

      • cleos_mom

It was an answer to a rhetorical question about paying taxes.

Not something “God’s people” generally want to hear.

    • Dazza

Son, most immigrants are in the country legally. “Most of the foreign-born people
living in the United States have followed the rules and have permission to be
here. Of the more than 41 million foreign-born people living in the United
States in 2013, about 30 million were naturalized citizens, permanent residents
and legal residents. Eleven million were unauthorized immigrants. Of those who
did not have authorization to be here, about 40 percent entered the country
legally and then let their visas expire.”
      http://www.tolerance.org/immigration-myths

      • elgeezr

Because you seem to need help using English, I would like to explain something. Immigrants are people who come here legally. There are no Illegal immigrants. People who enter the county illegally have been given the legal designation illegal aliens. Those of us who know this are often confused by advocates like you who don’t seem know who it is you are advocating for or advocating against. Also, no immigration court would have a clue what the term unauthorized immigrants means. There is no such thing. No need to thank me.

        • Dazza

Dear Elgeezer. I have no trouble with English (as English is an official language in both my countries), however as you have little inclination to research your work, I will help you out.

From an online legal aid site: “Illegal alien” is not a technical term–it’s the popularly used jargon, nowhere found in the U.S. immigration laws. Because of its insulting connotations even though it covers a wide variety of types of people, however, we at Nolo prefer to use the more neutral term, “undocumented immigrant.” http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/who-is-undocumented-immigrant.html

There’s a picture of a beaming kid, holding up his diploma, taped to the door of the local $ Store in Tucson. The stink is wafting in.

  • Panika MCD

many religious institutions down here in TX–the ones that help with resettlement like Catholic Charities–have decided that if the state goes through with SB4, they’ll just shelter the immigrants in their churches, mosques and synagogues. so bring it!

this also will pose significant hurdles to that passel of ‘bortion bills what made Schwertner break the table (probably because Uresti is pro-choice and now vice chair, so Schwertner could not leave to take an anger shit about how much he hadn’t been able to hate on Medicaid–which he has to do within 2 hours of bitching about PP, that’s just how it works). the main one was that Catholic Charities had offered to pay for all the fetal funerals. if their budget is taken up on housing people that ICE needs to leave the fuck alone, bye bye fetal funerals for goodsies!

also too, it’s worth reminding everyone that most of the people who do come across the border are children from Central America whose parents are trying to end the cycle of violence by not having the kids pressured into joining a gang. and we’re running out of BSA affiliated camps to house them at. there are still standards and they’re going to get fucked on that one pretty hard in three… two…

  • GemlikeFlame

    Sean, please explain this:

    https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/3467508-Trump-National-Guard-Draft-Memo.html

It would have been nearly impossible to fake and is consistent with the rhetoric and actions of the administration. It is illegal to use military and reserve in that way, which I would have thought DHS would have known unless Trump thought he could override it by executive order. That might be considered evidence of conspiracy to evade federal law.

The fight with this administration has largely been in the streets. It will end in the courts, who have the means to enforce their decisions. In spite of a lot of heat and noise, Trump has accomplished nearly nothing and at this rate is poised to continue to do so.

    • elgeezr

Two more days and it will be 1 whole month since the President was sworn in. And he has managed to accomplish nothing per GemLike. Wow! What a terrible record. ahahahahahaha!

  • Keith Taylor

Oh, cripes. What seems very much relevant to the above news, Evan … is something I saw just a few minutes ago. WASHINGTON TIMES has done a story headlined “Nearly Two Million Non-Citizen Hispanics Illegally Registered to Vote”. Breaking Christian News has picked it up, Stephen Miller seems to be loving it, and Donald Trump supporters are having orgasms over it. Jones and Trump will probably have their say about it soon, if they haven’t already.

    • Mike Steele

Very tax-dollar intensive and time-consuming SKWERL! – even if it weren’t fake news. They won, as they keep reminding us, so whyTF can’t they just cancel out their own several-state voter registration cards and move on???

    • Kooolest G

Amazing that they found so many non citizens REGISTERED to vote but have only found one non citizen who actually voted. Those foreigners must all be criminal masterminds to get away with it

      • Keith Taylor

I agree. Same with the people voting multiple times in different states that Kris Kobach insisted were out there and created Crosscheck to catch. About thirty states adopted the system and multitudes were removed from the electoral rolls (on flawed and sloppy procedure). An odd preponderance of names like Juan Hernandez and George Washington Brown — shortly before the election — but no eventual convictions. The lists, all the lists, should be made public and Crosscheck should be abolished if it turns out to be as bad as it appears.

      • Keith Taylor

        Posting about the above

President Trump will make America great for all you racist anti-American rhinos and liberals and sore losers also! And all you Ameraphobes that do not like our laws and constitution can go with them or learn that we are a Republic that elects our leaders by a constitutional way legally called the electoral vote and I and every other American live under laws so if you break the law boo hoo. Bad parents drag their children into something they knew was against the law when they did it not even getting into the millions they cost us! Go President Trump! Fifty five percent of America agrees with you and has youre back! And when the illegals are gone it will be more like seventy five percent!

    • sgt. jmk of the résistance

Thank you for so clearly signalling that you are little more than a pants-pissing coward with a hard-on for a baby dictator-in-the-making.

It always puzzles me what you fuckwits like so much about America, since you couldn’t give a shit about the actual Constitution or the founding principles.

Also, check your math, asswipe. Your Lord Commander Marmalade’s approval ratings are in the toilet, right next to your brains.

      Bye, moran.

      • Monkey Sea

Who says his approval ratings are in the toilet??????? You?
You are just another butt hurt liberal who resorts to name calling. I am also willing to figure out any math problem that you have. I assure you I am quite good at math and I am “legal”. Sooooooooooo, what does that make you?
        FYI……….Trump won.
        Bwahahahahahahaha!
Not a damn thing you can do about it.

        • Kooolest G

Until the FBI and the CIA decide that they don’t like Putin’s little puppet and the republicans impeach him

        • sgt. jmk of the résistance

Here’s a math problem you can “figure out” for me, cupcake – how do you justify claiming “Fifty five percent of America agrees with [him] and has [his] back” if Trump’s approval rating is 39%? And are you saying that all of the people who disapprove of him are “illegals”?

          https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/b3c4c0938cedbddd65fd4d54003a2d89ffc090b1b83b5b81420706e06eb38ff2.png

I’m guessing you’ll need to use deVos math to make that equation work.

Also, even if you’re “quite good at math” and are “legal” as you claim, could you explain how you think that would impact what I am in any way?

As to the rest of your screed – a good example of “butthurt” is when a group of people spend six months whining because a woman they hate used a word they don’t like in a speech they didn’t understand.

I, on the other hand, am not “butthurt.” Like most sane and decent people, I’m outraged by the dishonesty, corruption, and illegal behavior Trump has already displayed in office and during the campaign. That’s very different from “butthurt.”

And FYI – yes, there are quite a number of damned things we can do about Trump and his policies and his corruption, but I had no difficulty guessing that you wouldn’t know anything about the Constitution or the law, since you’re clearly just another ignorant Trumper spitting venom.

          Buhbye, cupcake.

  • J@@@ P

Fake news but a great idea!

    • Monkey Sea

Love the way he says not living near the border. Even if this was “real news” who cares where they are living if they are illegal. eff them. and as for this author…………..what a nut job. The stories are not only fake but they are getting to be over the top hilarious. But I still keep my fingers crossed that he would use the military to remove the cockroaches from the U.S.

  • tgtrotter

I don’t understand the left. They claim to be loving caring people by ignoring immigration laws and giving jobs to ” poor honest down trodden” people . The problem is they pay the shot wage. They are only looking for cheap labor in the guise of ” I am a loving charitable person. In the meantime those who have immigrated legally, those who citizens can’t get a decent paying job. These lover of humanity crapped on their own class while crapping on another. All in the name of money. Cheap labor. Cheap employees. Cheap fast for. Cheap products.. Donald Trump has a heart. A heart for those who following both sees of the law. Quit hiring cheap labor to now your lawn, blow your leaves be a nanny and housekeeper, assemble your products..etc Support your neighbor. Don’t be cheap

Tell me more about these leftists that are hiring foreigners again
“The Trump Winery in Virginia is seeking 23 workers from overseas to plant and harvest grapes there this spring, BuzzFeed reported Thursday.”
You do realize the reason they want to build the stupid wall is because it actually WON’T stop immigrants from coming, so these “leftists” can keep on hiring them. If you really want to stop them from taking your jerbs you could do what Canada does, there it’s illegal to hire them under the table and as a result they have about 20,000 “undocumented” people in the whole country (mostly just people who have overstayed tourist or student visas.) weird how that works huh

      • tgtrotter

KG What you got in Canada is a kick ass border enforcement. It is extremely hard andlengthy to come in legally nonetheless deliver a load into Canada. Here in California it is illegal to hire without an I-9. But phony ID is cheap and easy to come by. ( Go to MacArthur Park in downtown L.A. and it can be had for $20.00 USD). And there is little enforcement of illegal hiring. EXACTLY MY POINT! I retract the leftist remark. Everyone has been guilty. My daughters bosses landscape company. A neighbors import assembly plant my wife and kids worked at. And just last week at a job on the Westside the housekeeper telling my crew she is illegal and the homeowners is very nice. They pay her $300.00 a month and she is happier than shit. I’ve been working 39 years and can point to hundreds of encounters with exploited workers diminishing fair wages for all. Don’t quote me your Trump article as fact. Myself and millions of American workers see the hate and ignorance you possess but try to put the spin on back to us.
