Trump's Favorite Journalist Alex Jones Says Quebec Mosque Massacre Was A False Flag, So It Must Be True!
This past Sunday evening, a young white man named Alexandre Bissonnette walked into a Quebec mosque and started shooting at people who were praying there, killing six of them. According to those he went to school with, Bissonnette was a "lonely nerd" who "really liked Trump and had a permanent discontent with the left,” and was "enthralled by a borderline racist nationalist movement.”
Alex Jones, a man described by the current President of the United States as having an "amazing reputation," has some thoughts on the Quebec Mosque shooting, and they are just what you would think they would be!
As with literally every other mass shooting in -- I suspect -- the history of the entire world, Jones believes this is a false flag . His primary evidence for this is that many news organizations didn't have all the facts right away, immediately after the shooting; that there were some hoaxes concerning the suspects (coming from a fake Reuters Twitter account and Donald Trump-themed subreddits); and that police initially incorrectly identified a witness, Mohamed el Khadir, as one of the suspects.
Jones claims that this is obviously a "fubar false flag operation" possibly orchestrated by George Soros in order to get people to be mad at Trump supporters! But also it was orchestrated by Khadir, who he believes set Bissonnette up as “the patsy, the white guy found at the scene.” Also, he claims, Bissonnette, despite outwardly praising Trump and embracing far-right talking points, must have secretly converted to Islam prior to shooting up the mosque.
In case you forgot, Jones also believes that Wonkette is a "fake news site." Probably because we don't make up weird shit about George Soros paying off young Quebeçois men to convert to Islam while pretending to be Donald Trump supporters in order to do a false flag attack on a mosque, for the explicit purpose of getting people to not like Donald Trump supporters. You know, like all the legitimate news sites do!
We don't know yet if Trump agrees with Jones's assessment of the situation. However, I do think he ought to be asked about every single theory Alex Jones proposes over the entire course of his presidency. Just for fun. In fact, to this day, I am a little peeved that no intrepid reporters have asked Trump for his take on the all-important issue of gay frogs.
Will that ever get old? No, no. It will not. It will be funny forever.
Sean Spicer, being not any better than Alex Jones, has made an attempt to twist the facts of the case in order to promote support for Trump's frightening immigration policies.
"It's a terrible reminder of why we must remain vigilant. And why the president is taking steps to be proactive, not reactive," Spicer told reporters on Monday. Which is weird, because Bissonnette was not an immigrant, and Trump's policies would do absolutely nothing to prevent such an attack, for any reason.
Perhaps he intends to say the words "Radical Right-Wing Terrorism?" in order to ward them off? That does not seem likely!
