LOL you thought you were getting paid.
Oh hey! Do you remember that creepy-ass U.S.A. Freedom kids band that opened for Donald Trump at a few of his campaign stops? Of course you do, because they scarred you for life and now you have nightmares all the time and your therapist is sick of hearing about it. But here! Let us refresh your memory anyway!
Well! It looks as though they won't be doing any more Trump rallies in the future, as Dad-ager Jeff Popick is suing the Trump campaign's butts for not giving them their due compensation for performing their song"I've Written A Letter To Daddy""Freedom's Call" at the two rallies. The group had originally asked for 2,500 American Dollars in exchange for their thrilling performance at a rally in Pensacola, Florida, but Corey Lewandowski instead offered them a merch table at which to sell their CDs and other fine goods. They agreed to this, and all was good! BUT, when it finally came time to perform, there was not a table to be found! Whoops!
This is, of course, not the first time Trump has screwed over a small business , or screwed over the little guy.
Popick told the Washington Post :
"This is not a billion-dollar lawsuit," Popick said. "I'm doing this because I think they have to do the right thing. And if this means having to go through the court system to enforce them doing the right thing, then that's what I have to do. I'm not looking to do battle with the Trump campaign, but I have to show my girls that this is the right thing."
He kept trying to call the campaign to discuss some other form of payment, but to no avail. The campaign did, however, call him about having the girls perform at the veteran's event Trump was holding in lieu of attending the Fox Debate -- which would pay them "in exposure" for their previous performance. They paid for their own hotel and flights and accommodations and OUTFITS and everything, and when they finally got to Iowa, were told that their services were no longer needed, but they were welcome to sit in the audience! NICE!
Again, Popick continued to try to contact the campaign to get payment, or at least some kind of compensation for everything, and was totally ignored.
"These are guys that insist they're straight shooters," Popick said, "'You may not like what we're going to say, but we mean what we say and we say what we mean' -- and they just would not say anything of any substance!"
"I've invested a lot of time, effort, money," he continued, "and it's just been complete silence."
Because they had a verbal agreement rather than an official contract (BAD DADAGER, Mama Rose would not be impressed!), the case is less cut and dried than it would be otherwise. However, Popick has enlisted an attorney who thinks they do have a case. And, although he says he's been a fan of Trump since before he was a presidential candidate, he's not sure he'll be voting for him this November. SAD!
Also, welcome to the "Donald Trump Stiffed Me" club, Mr. Popick and daughters. Maybe you could sell memberships?

i'd be willing to bet he doesn't. i'm sure he thinks that shit is already bought and paid for.
The old interview clip when Ivanka was like 10? Or when Tiffany was an infant? I'm sure those sentiments haven't gone away.....
And then again I prefer not to think those thoughts......
