House Republican Dingbats Find New Thing To Investigate, And It Is House Democrats!

How all patriotic Americans feel about the GOP right now.

Boy howdy, the Republican critters who make up the majority in the House Of Representatives sure have a lot on their plates right now! The FBI failed to murder Hillary McEmails with a stick, so the House GOP has to investigate that investigation now. Trey Gowdy's committee just finished failing to murder Hillary McBenghazi with its Benghazi investigation, so they probably are working on plans for their ninth investigation of that right now.

OOH, how about the House Democrats' beautiful, wonderful sit-in where they demanded a vote on real gun control legislation? That's the ticket! That sit-in made the Republicans feel all kinds of chafing butthurt in their pantaloons, and it made the NRA rootin' tootin' mad, so let's investigate that now! 

House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) and Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) plan to meet this week with House officials to decide whether to conduct a formal investigation of the behavior of Democrats during their 26-hour protest last month demanding votes on gun legislation. [...]

McCarthy said that Democrats ... “went beyond the rules” on several fronts and that he thinks some form of punishment may be needed.

“We expect members of Congress to adhere to the rules and decorum,” McCarthy said, suggesting that broadcasting their protest clearly broke rules and that fundraising pitches based on the sit-in might have crossed ethical lines. He also said that he has been told that some Democrats were abusive toward the nonpartisan staff members who serve the chamber and who were trying to do their jobs but were obstructed by lawmakers who had formed a sit-in around their desks in the well of the chamber.

Oh no! Did Nancy Pelosi beated up the House janitor? Did John Lewis give a wedgie to the innocent delivery boy who brings Chick-Fil-A sammiches to all the wingnut Republican congresspeople, so they can be daily nourished by the Jesus chicken? WHAT DID THOSE DASTARDLY DEMOCRATS DO?

They were rude and didn't know their place, that's what. Everybody knows that in US America, House Democrats exercising power is illegitimate, especially if it shines a light on how the Republicans can't even hold a voice vote on gun control, due to how their mouths are full of the NRA's tiny yapping poodle tallywhacker at all times.

Here is some more Republican bitching and moaning, from teabagger Rep. Tom McClintock. He wants the Democrats sanctioned, because if we let them get away with their uncouth rough-housing and such, then "we will have replaced the House rules with rules for radicals." Ooh, he means like Saul Alinsky, which means it would be bad!

Nancy Pelosi is calling bullshit, and also making a very professional version of the joke yr Wonkette just made, about Republicans sucking NRA dick:

“The lengths the House Republican leadership will go to follow the NRA’s marching orders know no bounds,” Drew Hammill, Pelosi’s spokesman, said in response to McCarthy’s comments.

Another part is similar to the wussified Cornyn amendment introduced in the Senate, which would give the government THREE WHOLE DAYS to prove a suspected terrorist shouldn't have a gun. Oh, and there are some votes on "anti-terrorism" bills, because don't you know the Orlando shootings were never about anti-gay hate or guns, but about RADICAL ISLAMIC TERRORISM, and nothing else?

And if those bills aren't good enough for the Democrats, well then, that's why they probably need to be investigated some more, don't you think?
