Democrats Release Benghazi Report Saying Hillary Not Murderer, How Is That Even Possible?

Way back in October, when Hillary Clinton testified before the House Select Committee on Benghazi for ELEVEN HOURS, it was fairly obvious that this, the eighth investigation of Benghazi, was a goddamn waste of time and taxpayer money, and that Hillary-hatin' Republicans on the committee simply were not going to find the mythical smoking gun that would reveal Hillary to be history's greatest mass murderer of FOUR DEAD AMERICANS. The Republicans badgered her with nonsense questions about Sidney Blumenthal, the Clinton Foundation, and whether she was home alone THE WHOLE NIGHT of the Benghazi attacks. Meanwhile, the Democrats on the committee engaged Hillary in a thoughtful discussion of what really happened, and what could be done to prevent such an outcome in the future.

Trey Gowdy hasn't released his official report -- it'll probably be out right before the conventions, for NON-POLITICAL REASONS -- but the Democrats on the committee, led by Rep. Elijah Cummings The Badass, have preemptively released their own report. It's shocking! It says Hillary didn't do Benghazi in her pantsuit with her emails!

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is not responsible for security lapses during the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi that left four Americans dead, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, according to a new report from Democrats on the Benghazi select committee.

TRIVIA: Trey Gowdy has actually admitted that as well, so we'll guess that's a settled #HistoryFact and no one will ever speak of it again, right? You betcha!

Here's a part that's gonna piss the GOP off:

Democrats accuse panel Republicans of spending $7 million to find out what a number of other House committees had already determined — that no one in the Obama administration was to blame for the 2012 incident. [...]

"Our overarching conclusion is that the evidence obtained by the Select Committee confirms the core findings already issued by many previous investigations into the attacks in Benghazi," the Democrats asserted. "Although the Select Committee obtained additional details that provide context and granularity, these details do not fundamentally alter the previous conclusions."

TRIVIA: Trey Gowdy goddamned admitted that too, right after the million-hour Benghazi hearing. Are these Democrats going to tell us anything interesting we didn't already know? We totally already knew Hillary was not the devil incarnate, and we were completely aware that the Republicans on the Benghazi committee are braying fartsacks who care a shitload more about derailing Hillary's presidential plans than they care about FOUR DEAD AMERICANS.

The report (read it right here, in all its 339-page glory!) indeed features an "A to Z" section of all the GOP's misconduct in the investigation. Here are just a few of the titles in that section:

• "Republicans admitted that their purpose in establishing the Select Committee was to attack Secretary's Clinton's candidacy for president." (YEP THAT HAPPENED! )

• "Republicans blocked the release of Sidney Blumenthal's deposition transcript showing numerous questions about the Clinton Foundation." (Good thing Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff decided to read from Blumenthal's transcript at the Benghazi hearings, which showed just how little Trey Gowdy's dog-and-pony show was even about the attacks.)

• "Republicans inaccurately accused Secretary Clinton of compromising a covert CIA source." ( That happened too! )

Oh there is SO MUCH MORE, and like we said, the GOP is not going to like this one bit.

Oh well, fuck them.
