Actress Rosario Dawson said a dumb thing about your boyfriend, the president, today. According to Mashable's Emily Cahn, Dawson was speaking at a Bernie Sanders round table in Harlem when she said people were disappointed in Obama within two months of his taking office, because he didn't use Twitter enough.
That is lots of levels of dumb, mostly because sorry he wasn't spending more time sliding into your DMs, he was BUSY MAKING OBAMACARE AND LILLY LEDBETTER AND EVERY OTHER THING HE DID IN THE FIRST TWO YEARS BACK WHEN HE STILL HAD NANCY PELOSI.
Oh, sorry, I just had Extremely Fast Middle-Age Onset Disease, whose main symptoms are having lived through the Bush years and no longer being young enough to vote for Ralph Nader.
Here is the full quote:
There are many youngs who are very disappointed in the president -- who, yes, is temperamentally pretty centrist. He does drones, and did not put all the banks in bank jail, and hasn't even spit on Hillary Clinton once . But these youngs could have been an unstoppable force for Rand Paul, and frankly, I was worried they would. ("Unstoppable force" good for general elections only; God knows they won't come out in the midterms.) Think about it: my dire, Cassandraish warnings about a New Reagan Youth marching to Rand Paul's flute and demanding No Drones and Buy Gold have instead turned their eyes and hearts to Bernie Sanders. THAT'S A GOOD THING. When it comes to Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton THEY'RE BOTH FINE, and if the youngs can get their Grampa on instead of being lured in by the promise of Rand Paul's sexy ... hahaha, just kidding. Sorry about that, you guys.
Now just make Rosario Dawson vote in a midterm, and we're set.
Sorry, you're the obnoxious one here. I bet you think Nader caused Gore to lose, too, eh?
