Jeb Bush would kill that
Quick, kids, go to your safe space and hold on to your Trigger Warning, because a bad thing happened on the way to democracy: someone at Emory University in Atlanta chalked the words "Trump 2016" onto a sidewalk. Are students feeling "unsafe" and violenced because an unknown person on their campus is going to vote for a candidate with whom the students disagree? HOW'D YOU GUESS! Would they like the university president to send out a college-wide email explaining that NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO VOTE FOR TRUMP? They would like that too please!
Now, is Donald Trump a fascist? Hells yeah! Is he terrible and the worst and appealing to all the dreggiest racists of this great nation? LIL BIT. Would any of us be safe at one of his rallies? Not even at all! Are people still allowed to vote for him in America, and express that support through words like "Trump 2016"? Hold the phone! PEOPLE ARE!
So students demonstrated against Trump, which is super cool! It is using your words to try to persuade others to your point of view! Yay!
[M]any students carried signs featuring slogans such as “Stop Trump” or “Stop Hate” and an antiphonal chant addressed to University administration, led by College sophomore Jonathan Peraza, resounded “You are not listening! Come speak to us, we are in pain!” throughout the Quad.
Real Talk: "Stop Trump" is groovy! (But "Truck Fump" is better.) But what is it exactly you want your university to do about your pain? Declare Trump an unperson and maybe throw him in jail so he can writeThe Art Of My Struggle ? Also, do you want your university to actually punish someone for declaring his (definitely his) support of the leading candidate in one of the nation's two main political parties? Does that sound ... oh, let's use a word you know ... "problematic" to you?
“I’m supposed to feel comfortable and safe [here],” one student said. “But this man is being supported by students on our campus and our administration shows that they, by their silence, support it as well … I don’t deserve to feel afraid at my school,” she added.
Thought experiment, student person! You support Bernie Sanders. (I mean, that is obvious.) Other students say Bernie Sanders is a communist, and communists killed their great great aunt, in the shtetl. They are afraid of Bernie Sanders. They would like the university to punish you for writing Feel The Bern. In chalk. Do you feel safe? How about comfortable?
University president James W. Wagner
addressed several questions throughout the time in the board room, including “Why did the swastikas [on the AEPi house in Fall 2014] receive a quick response while these chalkings did not?”
Listen, can you buttercups just stop it please? Don't give the Ben Shapiros of the world a chance to ever be right. About ANYTHING. He probably oozed come all over the Mizzou quad that time he went to crash their safe space. You know how savagely he squeezes his hairless little pud when he sees a story like this, just waiting for him to moo about it to Bill O'Reilly. And now you've made me think about that too. AT LAST HAVE YOU NO SENSE OF DECENCY.
Sons. Daughters. Pick up your placards, find your inner Angela Davis (try not to kill anyone), and protest Donald Trump all day and all night! (Not with a sawed off shotgun though.) Hell yeah! Just leave the whining aside, and make it a party! Everyone likes a party! And don't ask your university to be fascist so you can punish the fascist. It really doesn't work that way.

THIS MICROAGGRESSION WILL NOT STAND
I work there as well, mostly telling these kids to get off their phones in the goddam library.
