President Ted Cruz had a very special moment of dumbth in the production of his very own response to the State of the Union address. Instead of taking the risk of doing it live, he wisely chose to record his response in advance, so that if he made any mistakes, they could be edited out in another take.
Of course, if you're going to do multiple takes, you may want to let your social media people know you didn't want the original blooper reel posted to You Tube instead of the final, polished version. Cruz started out with a nice fiery denunciation of the president's version of the State of the Union address, but less than a minute into it, he said, "Meh, let me start over." And then he got through the whole butthurt act. And then some genius went and posted the uncut version to Cruz's official YouTube channel.
It was pulled almost instantly, but not before several clever souls made copies. Here it is; just imagine Cruz channeling Gloria Swanson and saying "I'm ready for my close-up, Mr. DeMille."
Remember: Everything is terrible! Where's Obama's contrition? Trust the guy who shut down the government! Also, radical Islamic terrorism, radical Islamic terrorism, radical Islamic terrorism!
Ted Cruz is still big. It was YouTube that got smaller.
La forma grande!!
The proof is right there in front of you!
His melanin is just the right height.
