Hey, kids, the Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, First Family of the Quiverful movement (motto: "Babies For God! Shoes For Industry!"), just put up a Facebook post to let the world know that married people kissyface is the greatest thing in the world. And they were actually being very brave, because someone on the Internet was rude to their perfect newlywed daughter Jessa, after she posted an InstaSnoggogram photo of her and her new husband, ManFace, locking lips. Here's the Duggartext, with the interesting part for us emphasized:
God designed marriage to be a loving, dynamic relationship between a husband and wife for a lifetime. God loves marriage and it is supposed to be full of love, joy, fun and romance. Marriage is where romance belongs! Recently, Ben & Jessa received some criticism for posting a kissing picture. We are so grateful they waited to share their first kiss until after marriage. We’ve been married 30 years and are still in love! We had fun trying to duplicate Ben and Jessa's happily married kissing picture. We challenge all married couples to take a happily married picture and post it here:
The Internet being the Internet, it didn't take long for some smartass to get a smartass idea like some kind of smartass:
Needless to say, there are already some lovely trolls:
We know you can help, Wonkers! Post your happy gay-married pics to show just how happy you and God are -- the fact that you haven't already been fried by lightning means God is quite happy for you, after all. And even though that story about the newlywed Duggars boning in church turned out to be fake, photos of church sex are probably a good idea for this project too. Just make sure they're family friendly.
Also, since it's entirely likely the FacePlace will start deleting pics of gay couples, go ahead and tweet those puppies as well. This needs a Twitter hashtag. How about #GayAwaythePray?
I can never, ever unsee this. And I am now questioning Dok's headship in posting this.
Goats. Where are the goats?
