ATTENTION, LOVERS OF FREEDOM!
We assume we'll be seeing all of you Real Americans Saturday at noon. What's that? You have plans to spend your Labor Day weekend eating warm potato salad by the lake, maybe burning some lawn clippings in defiance of local ordinances? To that we say NO. We do not give one good goddamn about your pre-marinated grillin' steaks or your non-refundable cabin rental. Your presence is required elsewhere.
The very future of this great nation depends on you.
Saturday is the culmination of National Impeach Obama Week , which is actually a 9-day festival of All Things Impeachment from coast to coast. While there was a grand kickoff last Saturday in Carlsbad, California, most of the NIOWers will be having their parties at noon local time on Aug. 30. That is TOMORROW, people.
In case any of you need further convincing, allow NIOW to remind you of Obummer's many crimes against American humanity:
● Governing by dictatorial fiat with lawless executive orders targeting Amnesty, Obamacare, gun regulation, etc.
● Waging illegal wars without the constitutionally-required approval from Congress
● Assassination of three American citizens without due process via drone bombings
● Use of the IRS as a weapon against his perceived political enemies
● Unprecedented snooping by the NSA on American citizens
● Blatantly lying to the American People about the Benghazi attack, Obamacare, etc. for political reasons
● Supporting Al Qaeda and other Jihadist terrorists in Syria and elsewhere
● Encouraging massive numbers of illegal aliens to enter the US for his own perverse political reasons
● Bizarre and erratic behavior, which implies psychological pathology
● Forgery of his identification documents to make it appear that he is eligible for office
● Constitutional ineligibility for the office that he holds
● Overall radical and subversive anti-American background, which is confirmed by his actions in office
We knew there was something off about that guy. Just look at him!
If you can't get to one of tomorrow's impeachment parties, it's not too late to throw your own! NIOW has a bunch of helpful tips for protesting , like: don't bother yelling at a capitol building that doesn't have any politicians in it. Sure, we could have planned this for a weekday when the targets of our wrath would be here, but let's come on Saturday during a holiday weekend instead and yell at motorists who likely unconnected to government misdeeds! Be sure to print out all the witty signs from the website!

I live near the State Capitol building so walked over at noon when the rally was scheduled to start. Not a soul in sight. That was surprising because on their FB page three people said &quot;maybe&quot; and one said he&#039;d attend. The promised attendee -- Mark Boland, apparently -- hectored the others: <i>&quot;So I&#039;m one of only three patriots in CT? Come on people!! WAKE UP!!&quot;</i>
I checked again an hour later. Still no one. But the FB page now says one person went. Of course, if only one person claimed to go there&#039;d be no one to dispute him. Or maybe they&#039;re counting me.
As a resident of downtown Hartford, I can tell you almost no one is in town on weekends. If you want to get a message out about impeaching Obama or about a sale at Penney&#039;s, the <i>worst</i> place to do it is at the corner of Capitol and Trinity on a Saturday afternoon. So I applaud Roger Ogden, the Connecticut event organizer. Well done sir! Obama is still POTUS.
