No No, Kansas GOP Dude Definitely Not Gonna Shoot All The Muslims, He Swears

Some smalltime GOP loser in Kansas -- but we repeat ourselves -- is super sorry he twitted that tweet about "offending" Muslims "with a .45." Didn't mean it dudes, totally sorry, hell he ain't even own a gun! (And if tweeting about shooting Muslims won't get him removed from his GOP office -- AND IT WON'T -- the fact that he's not strapped should do it.)

Gavin Ellzey, the vice chairman of the Kansas Republican 3rd Congressional District Committee, advised on Twitter in early July that “offending Muslims is the duty of any civilized person.”

Ellzey added, “Especially with a .45.”

In an interview with The Star, the Overland Park resident acknowledged writing the tweet in response to television news reports about Christians being “crucified” overseas.

“Sometimes you overreact,” Ellzey said.

Who among us has not overreacted and ideated on murdering a billion people?

[Mahnaz Shabbir of the Crescent Peace Society] pointed out the tweet came just months after the shootings at the Jewish Community Center.

Yeah, but he was mad, okay? And just for being mad, and overreacting, and wanting to murder a billion people, Gavin Ellzey is supposed to lose his gig on the 3rd CD committee? How is that even fair? Thankfully, the Head Republican In Charge knows that this is nonsense:

Clay Barker, executive director of the Kansas Republican Party, said the state party has “no responsibility for or connection to the public statements of private citizens who perform volunteer work for the party.”

He added that the “party in no way shares Ellzey’s sentiments on Muslims.”

What he did not add is that Ellzey would be removed from his post or censured in any way whatsoever. Maybe we should tell him Ellzey doesn't own a gun, INPEACH.
