You know how the Republican Party holds a weekly lottery, and the lucky winner gets to be the spokesderp who explains why Democrats are the REAL something-or-others? The real racists, the real sexists, the real bigots, the real warring on Freedom & Liberty-ists -- whatever kind of hate the GOP is vomiting all over America, there's always some Republican out there saying "nuh uh, YOU ARE" or, as those of us who passed Psych 101 in college remember, "projecting."
Today, Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks pulled the winning ticket, and the special topic of the day is immigration, because Republicans babbling inane hate speech about thatnevergets old. Behold his glory :
“This is a part of the war on whites that’s being launched by the Democratic Party. And the way in which they’re launching this war is by claiming that whites hate everybody else,” he said during an interview Monday with conservative radio host Laura Ingraham. "It's part of the strategy that Barack Obama implemented in 2008, continued in 2012, where he divides us all on race, on sex, greed, envy, class warfare, all those kinds of things. Well that’s not true.”
Well, godDAMN Obama (again!) for turning our nice little country into a cesspool of division and imaginary inequality, with all of his "not true" rhetoric he and the Democrats use to turn Americans against each other, for the first time ever in American history.
Brooks is apparently quite put off that hardcore left-wing liberals like Ron Fournier -- yes, THAT Ron Fournier , the so-called journalist who apparently receives royalties every time someone shrieks "WHY WON'T OBAMA LEEEEEEAD????" -- would dare suggest that the Republican approach to immigration is perhaps a tad offensive to the scary, disease-ridden, drug-muling browns, and also not a very good electoral strategy because those people Republicans are attacking might be slightly less inclined to vote for them, gee, what a shocker.
Somehow, through the magic of Republican "logic," this is the Democrats' fault because everyone knows the GOP totally hearts those not-whites -- heck, Republicans don't even SEE color, they are like, "We don't even care about race!" (Yeah. We noticed.) It is Democrats, Brooks says, who "try and turn it into a racial issue," like the Republican reaction to not-whites isn't a racial issue, yeah, okay, sure, whatEVER, pal.
Seems like it was only last week some Republican congressschmo was spouting the same tired old tripe about how the browns are coming to take our jobs and destroy America, and we must send those "aliens" -- who were born on this same planet Earth right here, they are not actually from another planet -- back to whatever not-America hellhole they came from before it's too late. Oh, right. That's because it was :
[T]o the Democrats, the border security problem is really a question of where they come up with the money for the welcome mats and the Happy Meals. [...] There are 8 million jobs in America now held by illegal aliens, that’s 8 million job opportunities taken from American citizens.
Sure is hard to imagine why anyone would think Republicans do not care so much for the not-whites in this country or around the world. Other than Democratic demagoguery and Obama's war on whitey, of course.
