Rush Limbaugh had a supportive shout-out today for Superbowl-winning sportsball coach and NBC sportsball analyst Tony Dungy, who told the Tampa Tribune yesterday that he would never have drafted Michael Sam, who's just too darn gay. Said Dungy,
“I wouldn’t have taken him ... Not because I don’t believe Michael Sam should have a chance to play, but I wouldn’t want to deal with all of it.
“It’s not going to be totally smooth … things will happen.’’
Limbaugh applauded Dungy for his clearheaded concerns about "things," noting that the St. Louis "Lambs" are "not a football team this season; they are a social experiment." And god knows that social changes have always been terrible and disruptive for sportsball.
Limbaugh then rambled on for a while about how there's no way that the Rams can cut Sam for being a lousy player, because the gays will just go nuts, and it's all just a social experiment, and my whatta sad day for sportsball when considerations other than pure athletic talent might enter into a team's hiring and firing decisions:

Mr. Limbaugh knows all about how social experiments can ruin sportsball, having previously been pressured to quit his job at ESPN in 2003 after he experimented with suggesting that "the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well," even though blackity black quarterback Donovan McNabb was probably not all that good and had only become a QB because of that desire to make black people more successful than they deserved to be. McNabb was in fact something of a failure, only leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a single Super Bowl, five NFC Championship Games, and becoming the Eagles' "all-time leader in career wins, pass attempts, pass completions, passing yards, and passing touchdowns." So you can see why Rush Limbaugh is skeptical of these crazy social experiments like hiring someone who's gay.

But he's not prejudiced, because a black guy now shares his doubts, hooray!

[Tampa Tribune / Media Matters]

So long as he chokes on votes, it's all cool.
Fucker is already a "taker" as it is . . . taking Koch money in order to stay on the air, despite his 0.03% market share. Maybe he'll gag on his own irrelevance, someday -- should he happen to notice it.
Kinda like Iran, innit?
