Ben Shapiro May Have Finally Lost It, As If Anyone Could Tell

Could someone check Ben Shapiro's meds? He seems even crankier than usual, and today he's pretty much decided that Barack Obama is Josef Mengele or something. We're accustomed to frothing spittle-spraying outrage from Shapiro; it's pretty much his default setting. This is, after all, a man who celebrated the arrival of his baby daughter into the world by telling the world he would NOT watch the State of the Union address by that terrible socialist. But today his declaration that the Obama administration is fueled by hatred of Jews is, just maybe, a tad unhinged, even for Ben Shapiro, for whom we already know a completely unique scale of hingedness has to be calibrated.

What prompted this latest outburst was the awful news that three Jewish teens had been found dead in Israel Monday, after being kidnapped some three weeks ago. One of the three murdered boys, 16-year-old Naftali Frenkel, was an American citizen. Shapiro says unequivocally that they were kidnapped and murdered by Hamas because of course they had to be; only an anti-Semite would note that while Hamas is suspected to be involved, the link hasn't been conclusively proven. And what proves to Shapiro that Barack Obama hates Jews? Oh, come on, just look at the irrefutable evidence:

President Barack Obama said nothing about them publicly. His wife issued no hashtags. His State Department maintained that $400 million in American taxpayer cash would continue to the Palestinian unity government, which includes Hamas.

Damn that Barack Obama for hating Jews so much that he said nothing about the kidnappings. Except for the White House statement June 17, saying "Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of 3 Israeli teens who were kidnapped last week. May they be reunited with their sons soon,” which was a Tweet, not Barack Obama speaking, so maybe it doesn't count. Or the official condemnation of the kidnapping on June 15, which called the kidnapping a "despicable terrorist act." This also doesn't count, we suppose, because it came from John Kerry, another member of the Jew-hating administration that was clearly cheering on Hamas behind the scenes. As for the hashtag thing, it probably doesn't help that the hashtag that a lot of American rightwingers were using, #BringBackOurBoys, sounds like a call to leave Afghanistan.

Other things Ben Shapiro knows about Barack Obama's hatred of Jews:

Presumably Frenkel did not look enough like Barack Obama’s imaginary son for him to give a damn. Or perhaps Frenkel hadn’t deserted his duty in the American military, and therefore his parents didn’t deserve a White House press conference. Maybe Michelle Obama was too busy worrying about children’s fat thighs to spend a moment tweeting out a selfie to raise awareness.

Or maybe, just maybe, the Obama administration didn’t care about Frenkel because he was a Jew.

Jewish blood is cheap to this administration.

And that, of course, is because Barack Obama has not done his patriotic duty and signed up as a member of the Likkud party. Instead, he has actually encouraged Israel to "compromise," in negotiations with the Palestinians, and he has refused to nuke Iran like he should have done several times already. Also, Obama somehow orchestrated the Arab Spring, which wasn't a failed democracy movement but a plot against Israel. Shapiro insists that the administration

has undercut Israeli security at every turn, deposing Hosni Mubarak in Egypt, fostering chaos in Syria and by extension destabilizing Jordan and Lebanon, and leaking Israeli national security information no less than four times.

If only Obama had supported those nice dictators Mubarak and Assad!

Even worse, now that the teens have been found dead, the Obama administration has called for restraint, because everyone knows that discouraging revenge killings is code for "I Hate The Jews":

The Obama administration’s first response: to call on the Israeli government for restraint. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said on June 2, “Based on what we know now, we intend to work with this government.” Now, just a month later, that government has murdered an American kid. And now she says that the Obama administration hopes “that the Israelis and the Palestinians continue to work with one another on that, and we certainly would continue to urge that … in spite of, obviously, the tragedy and the enormous pain on the ground.”

To which the proper Israeli response should be: go perform anatomically impossible acts upon yourself.

The Obama administration had the opportunity to stand clearly against Jew-hating evil. Not only did it fail to do so but it funded that evil, encouraged that evil, militated against fighting that evil. But that’s nothing new. Jew hatred is as old as the Jewish people. It’s just found a new home in the White House.

The best way to help the Jews, apparently, would be to forget the idea that the filthy Arabs can ever be trusted, and to... what, Ben? Pledge support for endless war? Pave the West Bank? Build the wall higher? Exterminate the brutes?
