It’s always good to know that someone has a long-term plan for improving America. And Austin Ruse, the head of the “Catholic Family & Human Rights Institute,” has some ideas in that area. Ruse is tired of having to put up with offenses like seeing gay ladies on the Food Network and knowing that the Girl Scouts sell abortion cookies. And now he’s come up with a nifty way to save America from all the God-denying feminists at the root of our problem: Just shoot all the left-wing college professors. He hasn’t quite worked out the details on how this can be accomplished just yet, but he was certain enough of the value of the idea that he shared it on the American Family Association’s radio show; the audio clip now seems to be “unavailable” at their website.
Ruse was filling in for the AFA’s Sandy Rios Wednesday when the discussion turned to the news that a Duke University student was paying for school by acting in porn. Ruse knows exactly who’s to blame for that development: Womens’ studies programs, because why else would a young woman choose to act in porn and even say she likes it? It’s just logic, you see:
That is the nonsense that they teach in women’s studies at Duke University, this is where she learned this. The toxic stew of the modern university is gender studies, it’s “Sex Week,” they all have “Sex Week” and teaching people how to be sex-positive and overcome the patriarchy.
How true this is: Once you start thinking that sex isn’t nasty and shameful, or that women should have some kind of autonomy, the inevitable result is acting in porn. And how does this affect normal people, who know that sex is filthy and an abomination in the sight of God? Well, for one thing, it’s pretty darned expensive:
My daughters go to a little private religious school and we pay an arm and a leg for it precisely to keep them away from all of this kind of nonsense. I do hope that they go to a Christian college or university and to keep them so far away from the hard left, human-hating people that run modern universities, who should all be taken out and shot.
Funny he should mention how expensive a good private school is — the Duke student, who works under the name “Belle Knox,” says that while she enjoys the work, she would not be doing it were it not for the $60,000 annual tuition at Duke. In any case, if only all of her women’s studies profs — or at least the people who run Duke — had just been shot, she would never have thought it was a good idea.
Now, don’t worry too much about this Austin Ruse person’s shoot-the-liberals fantasies — we’re sure he didn’t mean it literally, and we’re quite certain that his columns will continue to run at Breitbart.com, since it’s not like he said something truly offensive like claiming that the tea party caused the government shutdown or that Sarah Palin has no idea what the realities of slavery were.
Follow Doktor Zoom on Twitter. He wonders if Ruse was just doing a subtle homage to General Dreedle in Catch-22.
