Mildred Loving, the plaintiff in Virginia v. Loving, did not live to see Obama take the oath of office, nor to see this day. But her daughter, Peggy Fortune, still lives in Virginia, as does a son. There are also 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, all of them a rebuke to Antonin Scalia.

And how nice that the Lovings, whose lawsuit is so beautifully named (Virginia is, apparently, for Loving), have a daughter with a fortunate name as well.

I <i>love</i> that the federal benches which have gone out of their way to quote his <strike>hissy fit</strike> fiery dissent - Utah, Kentucky, Oklahoma, and Virginia - are none of them noted for their radical activist leftist judges.

His next <strike>hissy fit</strike> fiery dissent will be entitled "Sarcasm Fail," and will be coauthored with Grumpy Cat and published in the Liberty University Journal of Law and Ordnance.
