McDonald's employee website has obviously been sabotaged by union thug moles (again) (AGAIN again!), who are trying to make them look bad. Obviously no person without a nefarious agenda would put up an employee website with an etiquette section on how much to tip the help for the holiday.
The tipping guide from etiquette maven Emily Post on McDonald's website lists several high-ticket suggestions for givers during the holiday season, including "a gift from your family (or one week's pay), plus a small gift from your child" for an au pair, "one day's pay" for a housekeeper and "cost of one cleaning" for a pool cleaner.
The site also lists suggestions for dog walkers, massage therapists and personal fitness trainers.
It's actually an excellent resource for McDonald's employees, as they'll be able to assess whether they're being undercompensated at their second- and third-shift jobs and then, we don't know, either interact in a perfect libertarian rational marketplace for their labor, or something, we are sure.
Earlier this year, McDonald's tripled its CEO and ex-CEO pay.
