So This Is The One That Is Finally Going To Get Richard Cohen Fired From Washington Post, Right? RIGHT?
Last week, Washington Post columnist Richard Cohen, who is paid to have opinions 'n' things, finally realized that slavery was really, really bad y'all, like even worse than taxes and stuff. This week? It is hard to explain without going into an actual seizure, like when you are playing Japanese video games, or whatever, you know, with the strobes and the epilepsy? Like that, but from disgust and sadness and stabbiness and suicidal ideation at the state of humanity and our world. Are you ready?
Here, let us let Richard Cohen tell you himself:
Today’s GOP is not racist, as Harry Belafonte alleged about the tea party, but it is deeply troubled — about the expansion of government, about immigration, about secularism, about the mainstreaming of what used to be the avant-garde. People with conventional views must repress a gag reflex when considering the mayor-elect of New York — a white man married to a black woman and with two biracial children. (Should I mention that Bill de Blasio’s wife, Chirlane McCray, used to be a lesbian?) This family represents the cultural changes that have enveloped parts — but not all — of America. To cultural conservatives, this doesn’t look like their country at all.
HAS THIS MAN NO EDITOR WHY IS HE ALLOWED TO JUST POOP OUT POOPSTREAMS OF CALLING VERY VERY RACIST THINGS NOT RACIST WOULDN'T AN EDITOR AT LEAST HAVE PUT SCARE QUOTES AROUND "CONVENTIONAL VIEWS" IT IS NO LONGER "CONVENTIONAL" TO GAG ON INTERRACIAL MARRIAGE RICHARD COHEN WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU OR MAYBE YOU DID PUT SCARE QUOTES AND THEN YOUR EDITOR TOOK THEM OUT MAYBE YOUR EDITOR IS TRYING TO GET YOU FIRED THAT IS WHAT WE CHOOSE TO THINK AND THAT FICTIONAL EDITOR IS A FUCKING HERO.
Oh and by the way, that was just pooped right into the middle of a column about whether or not Christie is too moderate for the GOP primaries. WHAT THE FUCK RICHARD COHEN WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU.
Also, just as a PS, besides being morally scabrous you're FUCKING WRONG. Only 13 percent of Americanshold "conventional views" on interracial marriage, which is statistically zero really because it is even less than the 20 percent of people who will agree with things like "I would vote for a bill that would take away my right to vote," and also "Tea Party."

I had a job in 1976 that involved longterm planning in the NYC public schools. The pilot project schools were in Canarsie and Far Rockaway because demographically they were the most varied in the entire public-school system - racially, ethnically, economically.
So I guess Cohen has been feeling nauseous and puky since he was six. This explains his bile. It does not explain why WaPo publishes his crap.
Prolly cuz you are.
