Family Research Council Fears Preschool Education Camps Where Tots Will Learn Shapes, Colors, Atheism
The nutballs at the Family Research Council are worried about the feminazi socialist revolution that might result if early childhood education is expanded, because they know that the real goal is not to prepare children for school, but actually to get the Government's hooks in their tender minds and destroy the family. Again.
On Tuesday's edition of their dumb Washington Watch podcast, FRC president Tony Perkins and Anna Higgins, director of FRC's "Center for Human Dignity," discussed the sinister agenda that will be injected into innocent tykes' brains, just as surely as a pointy plastic straw is jammed into a juice box: Nancy Pelosi wants to follow universal healthcare with mandatory universal preschool so that women can go to work, compete with men, and abandon their children for the government to raise.
“We know that this is the opposite of supporting families,” Higgins said of preschool. “Nothing good can come of regulating [sic] familial responsibility to the government. It seems to be the running theme of liberals and pro-abortion feminists that it’s children that are holding women back from actually succeeding in society and in the workforce.”
Perkins agreed, noting that if the government takes care of your health, you may as well let it take care of your kids. Pre-Kindergarten education, he said, is "part of socialism" that will help to provide “government indoctrination from the cradle to the grave.” It's so true! After all, some kids sang a song for Barack Obama that one time, and Fox showed it again and again, so you know this is dangerous stuff.
Higgins then added the indisputable fact that preschool does only one thing, ever: “The USSR had lots of universal care for children and the reasoning behind that was so that they could instill atheism in the children.”
Sounds pretty fishy, all right. We remember seeing a preschool this one time where the teachers had all the children learning about sharing, instead of encouraging them to compete against each other in a free market. And you know what happened to one of those kids? He ended up getting a job at an ice cream shop and writing for a communist mommyblog, at least until school started up again and he spent all his time "studying" (reading manga and yakking on FaceSpace).
