Virginia Teabagger Tells Hi-larious Joke About How Jews Like Money, Hardy Har Har, Vote For Ken Cuccinelli!
Oh, Virginia, your Republicans are ever so charming. You've got state attorney general and wannabe-but-not-gonna-be governor Ken Cuccinelli, hero of the tea party and hater of ladies and the buttsex , and yet somehow, he's not even the craziest candidate on the ballot. (That distinct honor goes to Ewwwwwwww Jackson , candidate for lieutenant governor.)
And then you've got this charming fella, one Mr. John Whitbeck, 10th Congressional District Republican Committee chairman, who spoke at a teabagger rally on Tuesday for the Cooch, and regaled the crowd with a HI-larious joke "in which the head of the Jewish religion presented the pope with a long, elaborate document that the Jewish leader said was a bill for the last supper." HAHAHAHAHA! Good one! But don't get all politically correct police on him because that joke was not -- NOT -- anti-Semitic . He said so, ergo, it is true!
“At yesterday's rally, I told a joke,” Whitbeck told the Times-Mirror Wednesday. “I did not tell an anti-Semitic joke. I told a joke I heard from a priest at a church service.”
Oh, okay, nothing to see here, then. Just some totally Jew-loving Catholics sitting around in church cracking totally-not-anti-Semitic jokes about how them Jews sure do love money. HAHAHAHAHA! And comeon, it's not like the Catholic Church has some controversial history when it comes to the Jews. Clearly, this faux hysteria is all the work of the Democrats and George Soros (who is, ahem, A Jew!, but -- fun fact -- he is not the leader of our religion; that's Woody Allen, duh):
“Any alleged outrage over this joke has been wholly manufactured by American Bridge, an organization founded by Democrat activist David Brock and funded by Georg Soros. American Bridge, which has the sole purpose of electing Democrats by attacking Republicans, has repeatedly demonstrated its commitment to defeating Ken Cuccinelli by any means they deem necessary.”
Whitbeck has a good point. We were not even offended by that joke AT ALL, until we received our Daily George Soros And Elders Of Zion Talking Points For Democrat JewsTMin our inbox because we are a Jew and a Democrat. And onlythendid we see how this joke could possibly maybe be interpreted as sort of semi-offensive. Thanks, George!
Naturally, Cuccinelli's campaign wants you to know they are not amused:
“I don’t even know who the guy is,” Cuccinelli campaign strategist Chris La Civita said, referring to Whitbeck. “It’s wholly inappropriate and not connected to the campaign. And it’s not reflective of Ken Cuccinelli.”
You want to talk about how The Gays are ruining our freedoms? Okay! You want to bemoan chicks and their 'bortions and encourage your priests to engage in civil disobedience and "go to jail" to fight against birth control? Go for it! That's all good and fine and reflective of Ken Cuccinelli, but he draws the line at the Jew jokes. Because he is klassy like that.

There was no Catholic church, or faith, at the time, so the joke is doubly dumb. Even trying to get into racist teabagger moron mode, I can't see where the humor is. Maybe the notion of keeping an account open for 2,000 years, ha ha? Hard to buy that, coming from dolts whose God thinks they still owe him big time for Original Sin.
