Zimmerman Juror: Oh Yeah He Was Super Guilty, Sorry About That, You Guys

 
 Pretty much everybody reacted with horror and disgust when that one juror in the Zimmerman trial went on a media blitz, said all sorts of awful things, and was shamed into silence, all within three days of the verdict. We all thought, "Oh, wow, with people like her on juries, we are SO SCREWED!" Remember? So now, here comes another Zimmerman juror, and who seems far nicer and thoughtfuller, and she says she thinks George Zimmerman "got away with murder," but also that under Florida law she had no choice but to acquit, even though she feels terrible about it, and we are left saying "Oh, wow, if Florida law makes a conviction impossible, even with people like her on juries, we are SO SCREWED!"

In an interview with ABC News, Juror B29 -- whose full name is still protected but is OK with going by her first name, Maddy -- said that she was convinced both that Zimmerman was morally culpable in killing Trayvon Martin but also, under Florida law, that he was not guilty of the charge of second-degree murder:

"You can't put the man in jail even though in our hearts we felt he was guilty ... But we had to grab our hearts and put it aside and look at the evidence."

Asked about the perception that George Zimmerman got away with murder, Maddy readily agreed:

"George Zimmerman got away with murder, but you can't get away from God. And at the end of the day, he's going to have a lot of questions and answers he has to deal with," Maddy said. "[But] the law couldn't prove it."

Now we will have Macy Gray's "I've Committed Murder" in our heads for the rest of the week, but in that case, the woman Gray murdered was a mean old bitch, and we think we can all agree CASE DISMISSED!
