Deleted E-Mails Of The Week: Progressives Are The True Nazis, And An Important Clarification To Our 2008 St. Patrick's Day Story

Hey, kids, it's been a hoot being your Stealth Editron all day today, as a dry run or shakedown cruise or dress rehearsal for June, when Yr Dok Zoom will be editoring for the three weeks of Yr Editrix's Great Wonk Your Brains Out Tour. (We are fairly sure we did OK, though some buyer's remorse may have set in somewhere during our time-management WTF between 12: 30 and 3:00 -- and even with that, she was not heard to say to herself, "My God! What have I done?" At least not in the Chatcave.)

And so, let's close out the day with some editorial detritus from the pending-comments queue, because Wonkette Does Not Allow Comments! First up, a set of rants from the weekend, which arrived in response to Gary's piece on Jim Hoft's selective case of Nazi-Symbol Astigmatism (Also, #payup, you weasel). Someone with the username "MAD JEWESS" (who very well may be mad, but who may or may not be a Jewess ... we don't doubt their religious affiliation, but how many Jewesses are named "David?"Update: See clarification at end of post)* -- just wanted to correct us on a few things:

Anyone knows the T-party is not NAZI. Its you Leftists that are the NAZIS. Proof: When the Nazis came to power in 1933 one of the first acts Hitler did was to legalize abortion. By 1935 Germany with 65 million people was the place where over 500,000 abortions were being performed each year.

That's pretty persuasive, except for the parts that are complete bullshit, like the teensy detail that German abortion laws were liberalized during the Weimar Republic and abortions were actually banned for "Aryan" women, who needed to produce as many babies as possible for the Fatherland. Abortion was encouraged for Jews and Slavs and other subhumans, not because the Nazis wanted women to have control over their bodies, but because they, you know, kind of wanted to make non-Aryans cease to exist, and so abortions saved big money on Zyklon B.

We understand the Nazis had a system of high-speed roads, too, so we do hope MAD JEWESS stays off the interstates -- or as we call them, Hitler Highways. 

More proof that leftists are NAZIS Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Propaganda, noted: "The Fuhrer is deeply religous, though completely anti-Christian. He views Christianity as a symptom of decay. Rightly so. It is a branch of the Jewish race... Both [Judaism and Christianity] have no point of contact to the animal element, and thus, in the end, they will be destroyed."

Yep, totally called us out on that one. We, too, are pretty into whacko pseudo-Nordic rituals, and maybe trying to harness the awsoma powah of the Lost Ark. And in a third screed, MAD JEWESS calls our attention to the

Nazi Weapons Act of 1938...Classified guns for "sporting purposes". All citizens who wished to purchase firearms had to register with the Nazi officials and have a background check... Juveniles under 18 years could not buy firearms and ammunition.

Wow! Nazi Germany gun policy was exactly like...um... some aspects of the laws of modern-day Australia! And it was far less restrictive than modern Japan! Oh, except for the parts where the Nazis happily let non-Jews and non-Communists have weapons permits. And the bits where the Nazis actually loosened gun restrictions that were imposed on Germany after the Treaty of Versailles.

Incidentally, here in Idaho, where taking your gun to the Capitol is a fun father-son activity, we are also apparently Just Like Nazi Germany, almost:

It is unlawful to directly or indirectly sell to any minor under the age of eighteen years any weapon without the written consent of the parent or guardian of the minor.

See how deep the plot goes?? They've gotten to Idaho!!

Our REAL favorite deleted comment this week, however, is this Very Important Correction of a scurrilous Slander that we posted for Saint Patrick's Day. In 2008. Commenter "TheFishKing" (Terry Gilliam, maybe?) has a bone to pick with us!

First off, this article is complete propaganda and should be disregarded completely. St. Patrick was taken to Ireland by Niall of the Nine Hostages. St. Patrick was not the person everyone thinks he was. He was sent by the church to destroy a line of Kings that spanned for over a thousand years, that was the only force to stop the church from the world domination and destruction they have been seeking out since the Roman empire began. St. Patrick managed to avert the kingship from its true bloodline to Scotland through his disciple eventually leading it to where it sits today in England.So when you celebrate St. Patrick's Day you celebrate the man who managed to overturn the crown to evul.... 

 not much of a saint....remember there were never any serpents in Ireland for him to banish. You should reevaluate your thoughts.

We are totally going to reevaluate our thoughts, man. Thanks for the timely correction. And to think we might have gone on celebrating some guy who subverted the true bloodline of the kingship!
