So there's this lady named Janet Mefferd, who seems really nice, and she has a radio show that "takes a distinctively Christ-centered look at the news and events of the day." That sounds harmless, right? She probably focuses on how the poors get screwed and we should be nicer to whores and not throw stones and kick some rich banker ass and stuff like that, right? Or not :
On Facebook, Mefferd wrote that she could see America moving "toward a day when every Christian who supports real marriage might be made to wear a yellow patch on the sleeve, a "badge of shame" to identify us as 'anti-gay haters.' Kind of like the Jews in Nazi Germany."
Oh heavens! you are probably thinking as you check at your calendar, is it Just Like Hitler Day again ? Wasn't that Wednesday ? And also two weeks ago ?
So why do good Christians everywhere have to convert to Islam and hide themselves in attics this time? It is BAD, boys and girls. It is really bad. It is worse than when President Obama made Google celebrate the birthday of that Mexican dictator of Venezuela Cesar or maybe Hugo Chavez on EASTER! It is worse than THAT :
Mefferd posted a link to a Fox News piece referencing Gross Pointe South High School's cancellation of a planned speech by Rick Santorum. It remains unclear why exactly the speech was canceled, though some speculate it was because of the politician's stance against gay marriage.
DO YOU SEE?!?! If Rick Santorum cannot spew his frothy mixture of hate and stupid at high school children, this is not the America we know and love. It is the end of democracy and freedom and it will live in infamy and everything. It is literally exactly how Hitler started: rounding up all the Christians and taking away their guns and making them have universal health care and not letting them say things like "God hates fags" and then feeding them to the lions. It is JUST LIKE THAT.
Here, we will let Santorum himself explain what a dark day it is in these United States when a raging bigot asshole can't even indoctrinate the children with his hate speechifying:
It's a sad day when liberal educators are allowed to influence young minds - extending free speech rights only to those who share their liberal views. I support traditional marriage; I believe marriage should be between one man and one woman. I'm not sure what the administrators in the Grosse Pointe Public School System are afraid of, but these students deserve the respect to form their own opinion on this important issue.
It is a sad day indeed. It is so sad. It is awful and terrible and just like Nazi Germany -- if the Nazis were all, "Okay, okay, we see your point, you may decline our invitation to be Holocausted if you have a note from your parents ."
Rick Santorum's speaking engagement at Grosse Pointe South High School is back on, after school officials say they reached a compromise to allow parents to choose whether to send their child to the April 24 event.
School officials on Monday had canceled the former presidential candidate's scheduled speech to students, sparking a community uproar. The district announced at 1: 45 p.m. Wednesday that parents will be sent an in-school permission form if they want their student to hear Santorum speak during an assembly at the school.
Yup. Just like the Nazis because they were totally into compromise. You know, when they weren't persecuting rich Christian ex-senators who get paid $18,000 to blah blah blah about the homogenda and how it will destroy 'Merica. Sieg Heil, bitchez.
Mefferd wrote that she could see America moving “toward a day when every Christian who supports real marriage might be made to wear a yellow patch on the sleeve, a “badge of shame . . . ”
She said, as she plastered a Jeebus fish onto the back of her car.
Point.
