Do you or a loved one suffer from Multiple Sclerosis? Well, please don't tell US Senator from the Great State of Texas and total Anchor Babby Ted Cruz about it, because he will Death Panel you or them for fun and profit. A once uncontroversial and bipartisan resolution to honor Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week has been MURDERED IN ITS CRIB by the good Senator Cruz. But why would he do this? Is Ted Cruz for Multiple Sclerosis? Is it because of that time Rush Limbaugh made fun of Michael J. Fox's MS*, and as goes Limbaugh so goes a truckload of vomit in the shape of a man? According to Politico, "He was unhappy with a clause in the resolution describing the purpose of the Multiple Sclerosis Coalition, according to a Democratic staffer." What the? A "clause in the resolution"? Is it abortion, or BENGHAZIIIIIII????? Let us see if we can parse this mystery, together!
Here is the text of House Resolution 95:
Ms. LEE of California (for herself, Mr. BURGESS, and Mr. VAN HOLLEN) submitted the following resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce

Whereas multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable neurological disease that interrupts the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and the rest of the body;
Whereas symptoms of multiple sclerosis range from numbness and tingling to blindness and paralysis and the progress, severity and specific symptoms of multiple sclerosis in any one person cannot yet be predicted;
Whereas there is no laboratory test available that definitely defines a diagnosis for multiple sclerosis;
Whereas multiple sclerosis is not directly inherited, but studies show there are genetic factors that indicate certain individuals are susceptible to the disease;
Whereas the exact cause of multiple sclerosis is still unknown and there is no cure;
Whereas in rare cases multiple sclerosis is so progressive it is fatal, but most people with multiple sclerosis have a normal or near-normal life expectancy;
Whereas severe multiple sclerosis can shorten life;
Whereas the Multiple Sclerosis Coalition, an affiliation of multiple sclerosis organizations dedicated to the enhancement of the quality of life for all those affected by multiple sclerosis, recognizes and supports Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week during March of every calendar year;

Whereas this year Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Week is recognized during the week of March 11, 2013, through March 17, 2013: Now, therefore, be it

Well, that sure was a lot of words! Did you catch the problem? (We assume the problem was not "Ms Lee of California.") Nope, we assume instead that the problem was those five little words right there in No. 6: "expanding access to medical treatment." We bolded it for you. Did you see?
Screw those MS "takers" and their insistence on "research" and "doctors." Who do they think they are, QUEEN MICHELLE OBAMA????
*Many of you in the comments have pointed out Mr. J. Fox suffers from Parkinsons, not MS. Our point, if we ever had one, still stands.
