Anchor-baby Ted Cruz is kicking up a fuss again, because that is what he does. Cruz-fussing is the most awful boring fussing of all, both because we have to look at his sleepy-eyed no-chin face the whole time and because all he ever does is whine about Obamacare, and how since it is a whole new Congress, they can vote to repeal it like never before!
Sen. Ted Cruz says that he is expecting a vote Wednesday on his amendment to defund Obamacare until economic growth is restored, adding that he is willing to risk a government shutdown if Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and President Barack Obama stand in the way.
We are honestly out of words over how dumb this is! You are probably very tired of hearing how dumb this is but the Editrix wouldn't assign us anything better! This Cruzwhine does add a new wrinkle of dumb, however, as he's pegged his INPEACH OBAMACARE demand to some argle-bargle about needing it until economic growth is restored.
Time to get legit wonky with yr Wonkette as we econosplain at you about growth. Ted Cruz are you listening to yr Wonkette? Probably not. GDP is a-growing. The unemployment rate is at its lowest since George W. wandered off to paint pictures of puppies and be written out of history. The DOW is doing nothing but growing, which is good we think? Being yr Wonkette does not actually pay well enough to invest, but we have rich people like Michael Wolff who are probably able to explain to us how fancy money works.
So, Ted Cruz, we have no idea what type of growth you would like to see? It certainly can't be that your plutocrat masters don't have enough monies, as they pretty much have ALL the monies now. Now, yr Wonkette is, individually and collectively, rabidly communist so this sort of growth depresses the ever-living fuck out of us, but we do not think Ted Cruz is thinking about income inequality a tiny little bit in this scenario! No, Teddyboy is mostly interested in mangling his words and talking tough:
Cruz -- who has previously introduced legislation to fully repeal Obamacare -- added, "In my view, Obamacare should be repealed in its entirety. But at a minimum, Obamacare should not be implemented at a time when the economy is grasping [sic] for breath."...Defunding Obamacare was also a key feature of Rep. Paul Ryan's (R-Wis.) budget plan released Tuesday . However, Cruz said at Wednesday's press conference that while Ryan's budget is "a strong step in the right direction ... it doesn't go far enough."
Yes, the main problem with Paul Ryan is that he is not aggressive ENOUGH about trying to stone-cold murder the poors. Give the reins to Ted Cruz so that he can really kick America in the teeth, for freedom.

So, is the idea that if the GOP just keeps introducing these bills to repeal the ACA, the Democrats will slip up and pass one or that they will get tired and pass it or that the Prez will go ahead and sign it because he doesn't want their faces to turn blue or something? Is this what they consider "strategy" or "tactics". Because it seems kinda "dumb", but what do I know?
Juuuussttt can't let it go...
