Joe Scarborough Yells Over All The Ladies, Snaps His Fingers At Them, To Prove That He Is Not A Chauvinist
Joe Scarborough is trying to do the right thing. He is trying to get Barack Obama to hire more women. That is good! GOOD FOR YOU JOE SCARBOROUGH. (It is also somewhat akin to the Republican mouthpieces foaming that Chuck Hagel is too mean to gays, but baby steps.) Unfortunately, then Mika calls him a chauvinist, and he tries to make the point about how not-chauvinist he is by yelling over all the women, and snapping his fingers in their faces. This is ... problematic.
Do we think our Bamz needs to host less of a boys club in the White House? We do! Do we think women should make as much as men in the White House? Fuck yeah! Are we pretty annoyed that Kerry is going to be our next Secretary of State because frankly we think our gender now owns that position, and has since Madeleine Albright flirted her way to the top? YUP. (LOVE HER.)
So good for Joe, mostly, though he's had his own issues with gendered pay gaps. (Also interns.)
And yet, er, this is not maybe the way to do it? (Do not watch all 10 minutes; start at maybe the seven-minute mark.) Joe is super offended by Mika's low blow. We do not think he will forget this soon. Updated that resume lately, Miss B? Make it up to him girl. Go fetch him a Starbucks, extra sugar.

Subtle distinction there. On a Venn diagram, the overlap is damned near perfect.
I can squint 'til my face hurts, but she still looks good to me.
