South Carolina Restaurant To Illegal Aliens: 'Eat Me'

Hey South Carolina Messican restaurant Taco Cid, what's got staffers in heelarious uniforms featuring Messicans getting trapped in boxes like animals by aid of a taco lure, are you sorry that everyone in the country except other racists thinks you are balls-out racist? Oh, you're not? That is so weird, we thought you would say you were sorry "if" you offended anyone. But let's see what you do have to say for yourselves, because we are sure it is swell and logical and compassionate and well-thought-out, we are sure of it.

”Our t-shirts were created as a witty and comical statement regarding ILLEGAL immigrants,” the statement reads. “There are NO racial nor hate remarks towards any specific ethnic group.”

This is, of course, a bald-face lie, since the T-shirts are clearly aimed at Latinos. As we reported above, the lettering uses the colors of the Mexican flag — and the taco trap wouldn’t make much sense if the shirt was referring to illegal immigrants from, say, Canada. Whatever the restaurant may have intended, the shirts’ racist imagery is an offensive swipe at all Latinos.

The statement goes on to say that Taco Cid’s “food is fresh prepared and served in the SAME QUALITY and QUANTITY, regardless of your race, religion or political views.” Though given the restaurant’s one-star rating, that’s not exactly saying much.

“As most tax paying Americans, we do believe ILLEGAL immigrants are taxing the system we support and live under, thereby, causing us to work harder and pay more taxes in support of their illegal activities which our government has simply chosen to look the other way.”

Oh sure, Palmetto Public Record, just go around accusing everyone of racism, willy-nilly, like it is a thing to do. Anyway, viva Restaurant Cid for standing up to the leftwing BULLIES who think using imagery equating illegal immigrants to animals in a rodent trap isn't just good old fashioned political commentary of the kind that led to THE HOLOCAUST (WE SAID IT).

Regardless, we imagine by this time next week, the Chick Fil-A Appreciation Day crowd will have blessed Restaurant Cid with more business than the one-star restaurant has seen in years.

And then West Columbia will drown in a sea of taco sharts.
