NJ Sen. Bob Menendez Proves Old Truism: Dude, Pay Your Hookers

by Rebecca Schoenkopf

MenendaeNew Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, repeat after us: Pay your hookers. Pay your hookers. PAY YOUR GODDAMN HOOKERS. Maybe you thought $100 was enough for working gals in the Dominican Republic. If that is so, you should have told them that UP FRONT instead of agreeing to $500 and then only forking over a lousy Benjie. (The possibility that the “intermediary” who paid the women kept the difference is not aired in Tucker Carlson’s D&C. We will bring up that possibility now. Because obviously, the moral question here is not whether the 58-year-old divorced Menendez availed himself of the erotic services of a couple of consenting adults making a living, but whether he PAID HIS GODDAMN HOOKERS.)

One woman said Menendez wooed her with compliments like “beautiful” before they slept together. The other woman recounted, with apparent bitterness, receiving from an intermediary only $100 of the $500 she had been promised.

“He lies,” she said of Menendez. “He says one thing and does another.”

According to the translator’s summary, Menendez “was nice at first, but then later he did not seem to care about her.”

Oh, honey, really. That’s on you. That is the point of why men pay to visit working gals, so they do not have to make with the lip service and the next-day phone call and the caring. (Also the point: anal.)

Menendez, who is 58 and divorced, has represented New Jersey in the U.S. Senate as a Democrat since being appointed to fill a vacancy in 2005. He is up for re-election on Nov. 6.

Asked about the allegations, Menendez spokeswoman Tricia Enright refused to answer any questions on the subject. “We’re not going to respond to a completely false accusation,” she wrote by email.

Ms. Enright, may we suggest that you respond instead that the single Senator Menendez absolutely denies not paying his sex workers the full agreed-upon amount? New Jersey will understand.

Here, have an unwatchable video from the Tucker Carlson’s D&C:

"He lies. He says one thing and does another."
That woman has a future in American political punditry.

BadKitty904 November 1, 2012 at 9:40 am

What a remarkably scripted sound-bite…

actor212 November 1, 2012 at 9:49 am

You don't suppose they would have paid her to do a thing like that? That would make her some kind of whore or something.

Callyson November 1, 2012 at 1:08 pm

Hey there–glad to see you didn't drown. Hope all is well.

PsycWench November 1, 2012 at 9:53 am

I'm trying to figure out what kind of sex worker thinks that her clients are always truthful. Probably a poor one.

Terry November 1, 2012 at 9:59 am

Or a new one

CthuNHu November 1, 2012 at 12:40 pm

Actually, she's too honest to be a pundit. Empirical research suggests that pundits are incapable of saying those very words.

HempDogbane November 1, 2012 at 9:33 am

So saying "You're beautiful" isn't worth $400? Dang! That explains a lot.

Texan_Bulldog November 1, 2012 at 9:34 am

Bob must have went to the same "How to Piss Off a Hooker" class as the Secret Service.

(And I can't imagine most NJ-ites giving two shits about this when they are currently stewing in their own sewage water.)

EatsBabyDingos November 1, 2012 at 9:37 am

Bet he would have paid full freight for a Sandy blowjob.

YasserArraFeck November 1, 2012 at 10:44 am

but all that sand – think of the chafing….

Ooh, bad timing.

kyeshinka November 1, 2012 at 9:38 am

Just don't do it with a check.

Jerry Springer libel!

Negropolis November 2, 2012 at 2:12 am

Also, the various slots and cracks are not to be used for swiping credit cards. Also. Too.

BaldarTFlagass November 1, 2012 at 9:39 am

I wonder if the lady of the night who is accusing Menendez of stiffing her is also the mother of Rush Limbaugh's boy-toy. Now that would be quite a coincidence!!!

boskolives November 1, 2012 at 9:53 am

Rush Limbaugh's review of Douchebag D'Souza's film answers the question: "If Obama wins a second term, where will America be in 2016?"

Most likely answer, between Canada and Mexico. However, if R'Money wins the U.S. will be offshored to where the work is, i.e. China or India.

teebob2000 November 1, 2012 at 10:08 am

"… where the help is"

/fixed

boskolives November 1, 2012 at 10:14 am

Support job makers, not job killers

RedneckMuslin November 1, 2012 at 10:01 am

Ha ha! You said stiffing her.

vulpes82 November 1, 2012 at 9:39 am

You say "stiffing the hooker" (hehe, get it?), I say "showing fiscal restraint." Menendez shows he knows how to economize in these tough times!

More seriously, even if this is true, I doubt it will matter. I can't even pronounce his opponent's name, and didn't even know he was running until about a week ago when the commercials started (and Menendez's started earlier).

shelwood46 November 1, 2012 at 3:15 pm

And they waited a little long to drop this bombshell, seeing as how half of us here (or more) have no power, cable tv and/or wifi. Those that do are just playing catchup watching storm coverage on Ch 12, and none of the local stations will pick up the story because they are too busy with Sandy coverage. Most of us here in NJ will hear about this in December, if ever. (Unless they read the Wonkers, like me.)

sbj1964 November 1, 2012 at 9:41 am

The whores at Fox News earn they're money the old fashion way. They fuck reality, and blow off the truth.

Pragmatist2 November 1, 2012 at 9:42 am

$100 !?!?!?
That's Chris Christie's lunch bill!

Terry November 1, 2012 at 10:00 am

Or what he pays for monogramming in a given week.

actor212 November 1, 2012 at 9:42 am

A Democrat who is for austerity?

MENENDEZ IN 2016!

BadKitty904 November 1, 2012 at 9:42 am

Given the problems NJ is facing at the moment, Carlson is going to have to hustle a *lot* harder to get Menendez laid off…so to speak…

boskolives November 1, 2012 at 9:42 am

How much do his brothers Lyle and Erik have to pay for their jail hookers? Less than jail-bait hookers I'll bet.

BadKitty904 November 1, 2012 at 9:45 am

I'd suspect that Lyle and Erik are the ones having their horizons broadened, rather than the other way 'round…

boskolives November 1, 2012 at 9:47 am

They must learn to attain Astro-Lube when assuming the position.

Gratuitous World November 1, 2012 at 9:44 am

so she's saying she didn't appreciate the payment of canned goods in lieu of cash?

BaldarTFlagass November 1, 2012 at 9:46 am

This is why I always tell the girls in my stable, "Get the money first!!!"

actor212 November 1, 2012 at 9:48 am

Bitch rolled me and then didn't even fuck me. Gimme my grand back, you!

LibertyLover November 1, 2012 at 10:25 am

I thought you just had them make sandwiches for you.

tessiee November 1, 2012 at 10:38 am

That's afterwards.
Who doesn't like a little snack afterwards?

BaldarTFlagass November 1, 2012 at 10:57 am

One definition of a perfect woman is one who turns into a post-coital six-pack and sandwich.

tbonebullets November 1, 2012 at 9:46 am

A somewhat similar sitchyation didn't seem to hurt David Vitter too much.

Hey, is sex for cash legal in DR?

actor212 November 1, 2012 at 9:48 am

It's interesting this story is coming out now.

Menendez is up almost 20 points over Joe Kyrillos, and this story will never make up that gap.

So the question becomes, why waste this juicy story on a no-win situation?

BadKitty904 November 1, 2012 at 9:58 am

Desperation and/or stupidity?

FakaktaSouth November 1, 2012 at 9:59 am

Holy crap Joe Kyrillos, that dude (had) more of those stick up-side of the road-campaign-signs than I have ever seen for any one candidate in my life – and I swear, no kidding, I seriously wondered who his opposition was and if he was as prolific elsewhere on the side of the road his own self. Now we know.

actor212 November 1, 2012 at 10:09 am

Fak, he literally bought up the entire commercial time on the morning and evening local news programs in the weeks heading into Sandy. I have no clue how a loser who's twenty points back gets that kind of money

BerkeleyBear November 1, 2012 at 11:50 am

Same way that anti-Obama ads are running in markets Romney himself isn't wasting his time in, and 11 million suddenly gets funneled from God knows where to a dark money AZ 501(c)(4) who in turn shovels it to a California issue PAC (and insists they have no obligation to tell anyone who their donors are until after the election) all for opposing a California tax hike plan that has shite all to do with Arizona. Yeah, Citizen United's claim that voters would be informed as to the source of funding really holds water, don't it?

elviouslyqueer November 1, 2012 at 9:51 am

Here, have an unwatchable video from the Tucker Carlson’s D&C:

Oh please. If I wanted to see a bunch of pissy, blurred out whores bitching about a Democrat, I'd just tune into Fox & Friends.

freakishlywrong November 1, 2012 at 9:55 am

Furiously upfisting.

BadKitty904 November 1, 2012 at 9:59 am

Well played, sir!

LibertyLover November 1, 2012 at 10:22 am

That was quite the snarky comment. Did you bring enough for everyone?

MosesInvests November 1, 2012 at 12:14 pm

Bra-vo!

LesBontemps November 1, 2012 at 9:52 am

I am outraged. Why is Menendez outsourcing jobs our own New Jersey hookers could do?

PsycWench November 1, 2012 at 9:52 am

He lies, says one thing but does another and pretends to care until the sex is over.
I've never heard of a man doing that. Ever.

Oblios_Cap November 1, 2012 at 10:15 am

Let's go to lunch!

LibertyLover November 1, 2012 at 10:20 am

The tip off was probably when he didn't even pretend to want to cuddle afterwards..

freakishlywrong November 1, 2012 at 9:55 am

Really. Who gives a fuck?

BaldarTFlagass November 1, 2012 at 10:03 am

Or, in this case, who gives 20% of a fuck?

Negropolis November 2, 2012 at 2:16 am

A whore, certainly, but not a hooker, that's for damned sure.

Jerri November 1, 2012 at 9:55 am

Daily Caller uses eggs to blur out hookers' faces? I'm confused and alarmed.

weejee November 1, 2012 at 9:59 am

Ahem. And harrumph.

actor212 November 1, 2012 at 10:10 am

DRUDGE LIBEL!

weejee November 1, 2012 at 9:58 am

He shoulda had one of Chuck Hagel's voting machines pay the working gals.

Gorillionaire November 1, 2012 at 10:00 am

Perhaps in was simply a language barrier problem, like when I ask the taco truck guy if he has any veggie options he always says "cash only!".

TRDMC November 1, 2012 at 10:01 am

If Menendez was a Republican, the girl would've been a boy; the act would've taken place in a public bathroom; and the whole affair would've been blamed on a "wide stance". Not there's anything wrong with that.

Negropolis November 2, 2012 at 2:17 am

And, they'd have begged for Jesus' forgiveness, and then all would be put in the past, 'cause Jesus.

RaflcaFlkaFlame November 1, 2012 at 10:02 am

That awkward moment when you still plan to cast your vote for Menendez on Tuesday (like me).

Mumbletypeg November 1, 2012 at 10:05 am

Next time, Senator, just pay them with some techn-o gadgetry instead. It worked for Phil Hinkle!

teebob2000 November 1, 2012 at 10:09 am

Sandra would be the October surprise on Carlson's October surprise!

NorthStarSpanx November 1, 2012 at 10:11 am

“We’re not going to respond to a completely false accusation,”

That's a lot more dignified a non-denial denial than say, "Hmmm rilly MSM? Quit Makin Stuff Up that our brave soldiers die for your first amendment rights there."

GregComlish November 1, 2012 at 11:54 am

Saying the accusation is false is not a non-denial denial. That's just a regular denial.

bfddad November 1, 2012 at 10:11 am

I only made it 14 seconds into the vid before I bailed. But if any hooker I ordered had a fuzzy face like that, I'd probably hold back a few bucks too.

boskolives November 1, 2012 at 10:20 am

Fuzzy faces? Difficult to not visualize republicans teaching young boys how to make a buck. Or 20 cents, as it were.

bfddad November 1, 2012 at 10:26 am

Wouldn't the boys have to work for free? Child labor laws and all? You know how republicans are stiff about things like that.

boskolives November 1, 2012 at 1:18 pm

Republicans get "stiff" when talking about boys?

Allmighty_Manos November 1, 2012 at 10:13 am

I see this story as really picking up steam, considering that New Jersey voters have nothing else to worry about right now.

BaldarTFlagass November 1, 2012 at 10:16 am

Yeah, it's been a real slow news week.

actor212 November 1, 2012 at 10:15 am

The lesson here, of course, is that no politician should avail themselves of rent-boys hookers until they are married family values Republicans

not that Dewey November 1, 2012 at 10:17 am

Ultimately, the real victim here is Sarah Palin, and I think it's only fair to call on President Obama to resign.

LesBontemps November 1, 2012 at 12:10 pm

Well of course.

LibertyLover November 1, 2012 at 10:19 am

They treat them like whores and…well…Hey, she really was a whore.

Still should have paid her the correct amount, but why $500 for that? Seems a bit steep to me.

delaney_blom November 1, 2012 at 10:55 am

Penicillin ain't cheap.

Steverino247 November 1, 2012 at 4:48 pm

It is if you're a sitting United States Senator!

SayItWithWookies November 1, 2012 at 10:50 am

As a former waiter (from long ago) I'm aware that people who've been in the service industry before tend to be more courteous customers. Maybe Senator Menendez thinks Congress is something more than what it actually is.

mavenmaven November 1, 2012 at 11:10 am

United Hookers Organization (UHO)
Press Release
For Immediate Release

Nov. 1, 2012, Miami, Florida—Several certified members of the United Hookers Organization (UHO), an international private organization that represents more than 1.5 million prostitutes, or hookers, worldwide, plans to hold a press conference today, Nov. 1, 2012, in Miami during which several other UHO members will talk about their trysts with Menendez and several other members of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate.

"I had numerous trysts with Menendez–and other Congress guys," says Kandi Apples, a seven-year UHO member. "I did, too, and some of them were Senators!" adds Chocolate Cherry, a five-year UHO member.

More details will be released at the press conference.

raygotaway November 1, 2012 at 11:41 am

Always pay your hooker and your hairdresser. I'm just sayin'.

Tundra Grifter November 1, 2012 at 11:55 am

Don't stiff either one. Make sure you give both of them the tip.

GregComlish November 1, 2012 at 11:47 am

Prostitutes are supposed to get the money upfront. That's standard procedure for any commercial venture. If a hooker doesn't get the money upfront then either a) she's dumb or b) she did get the money upfront but then she realized she was with a Congressman and wanted extra to keep quiet.

Tundra Grifter November 1, 2012 at 11:54 am

That video reminds me of sitting in Small Claims Court, listening to a guy being sued translate his own witness's testimony for the judge. Why wouldn't anyone believe that?

She could be ordering lunch for all I know. Although I do speak a little "Menu" Spanish, so that may not be what she is talking about…

Hart Williams November 1, 2012 at 2:11 pm

Let's see: first you have two "hookers" who don't bother getting paid up front. Yeah. Sure.

Then, you have them "finger" a man named "Bob" from photos. Then, you put out the worst video in the world, with clear sound edits that may well have said "Tell them to say such and such if they want to get paid."

And then, a bunch of self-anointed boobs don't bother reading with comprehension that the arrangements were made by a third party and the STIFFING on the cash by a third party, so even IF the incredibly sketchy case is entirely true, "Bob" didn't stiff them. The procurer did.

Massive fail on all levels. I have a bridge in Brooklyn that's available to the right buyer at a very reasonable price. You might be interested in it. Let me know. It's a great investment, just like Foster Friess made when he handed Tucker Carlson $3 million and told the Washington Post it was for "civility." Now, about that bridge l…

missannthropethefirst November 1, 2012 at 5:17 pm

Let me get this straight…

"My pimp ripped me off, but because Tucker Carlson is paying me the difference, I'm blaming who he told me to say the john was."

True or not, don't blame the client for your pimp ripping you off.

rickmaci November 1, 2012 at 6:01 pm

Hey Bob. What in the hell are you doing with a $400 an hour pro? You are a United States Senator. Jeebuzz bro, lobbyists will have sexxxytime with you for nothing. Some will even pay you so they, or someone that works for them, can fuks you raw and there are no messy loose ends that you need to worry about. Just throw an occasional vote their way and all is cool. It's one thing to disgrace the dignity of the Senate. It's quite another to f'ing embarrass the chamber by letting the world know a member can be had for the cost of cheap hooker.

ttommyunger November 1, 2012 at 7:58 pm

Shit! Who has someone else pay his hookers? What dumb cunt does not get the moneez first? And who gives a fuck? Why am I asking you?

amoosefloats November 1, 2012 at 10:00 pm

Maybe he thought it was in the local currency?

Negropolis November 2, 2012 at 2:10 am

Asked about the allegations, Menendez spokeswoman Tricia Enright refused to answer any questions on the subject. “We’re not going to respond to a completely false accusation,” she wrote by email.

**cringes**

I can take simply not even replying to requests, but the tell is the "completely false accusation" part, because when politicians say that, we know they are lying. Here's the PR rule in politics: yoou either say everyting, or you don't say anything, nothing.

Menedez, hookers are people, too, my friend.

bobhiggins November 9, 2012 at 7:58 am

I'm glad to find that Tucker Carlson finally found work that he's suited for.
