Obama Holocausting White People With Negative Ads, Bush Cousin Says In Excellent Buzzfeed Piece

by Rebecca Schoenkopf

You can't tell, but they're totally whiteMitt Romney is a really, really, really terrible candidate for president. Rick Santorum tried to warn the Republican party, but with options like “Rick Santorum,” they probably did pick the best of their odd fruits that were on offer. So Barack Obama is talking all kinds of smack and releasing hilarious ads about how awful Mitt Romney is, because this is how politics works, right? WRONG. Bush cousin John Ellis, last seen calling Florida on Election Night 2000, explainers it all for you in this winning column for Buzzfeed, “Can Obama’s ‘Chemical Warfare’ Keep The White Vote Down?” That’s right. Barack Obama is genociding white people — with votes! Or lack of them. By releasing negative ads. Which Mitt Romney would never do, we guess, unless he actually constantly does.

John Ellis, lay down some wisdom!

The 2012 president election, boiled down to its remaining variables, is about two things: (1) white voters who voted for Barrack Obama last time and have since grown disillusioned and, (2) white voters who stayed home in 2008 rather than vote for John McCain but may vote this time. The Obama campaign’s goal is to make both groups stay home rather than vote. It’s not a “negative campaign” they’re running. It’s purposefully toxic.

Toxic, LIKE CHEMICAL WARFARE? Yes. How do we know this? Because math!

The math is simple. In 2008, black turnout was way up. Hispanic turnout was up. Young voters flooded the polls. Barack Obama won a substantial majority (53.4%) of the vote, the largest majority for a Democratic presidential candidate since Lyndon Johnson’s landslide in 1964.

The white vote, as a percentage of the total vote, was down. Obama captured 43% of the white vote, the highest percentage of white votes garnered by a Democratic presidential candidate since Lyndon Johnson (President Clinton also received 43% of the white vote in his 1996 re-election campaign).

That IS simple math! So Obama in 2008 captured the highest share of the white vote by a Dem, except he was tied with Bill Clinton, and so now he must depress the white vote! If anything, it just makes TOO MUCH SENSE. How should he suppress the white vote, John Ellis? Agent Orange? Sarin? Zyklon B? Yes, Zyklon B.

Oh, but sorry, the simple math was not done yet. Let us read more numbers, together!

If President Obama gets 40% of the white vote, he has a chance to win re-election. If President Obama gets 35% of the white vote, he’s finished.

Right now, depending on which poll you look at, President Obama is running somewhere north of 35% and south of 40% among white voters. The danger for Team Obama is that there will come a moment – “anything is better than this” – that will cause the bottom to fall out of the president’s support among white voters. If that happens, he will fall into Mondale country (35%) and lose in a landslide.

Well that does sound troubling for Obama, who is currently up 10 points over Mitt Romney nationally, and a million points in all the important swing states. Time to murder all the white people, Nobama. WITH VOTES.

"Bush Cousin Says"
Obama still has cousins in Kenya?

Tundra Grifter August 3, 2012 at 11:17 am

Nice. Had to think about that one for a moment. Wasn't sure at first if it was a quote from Christine O'Donnell.

Mahousu August 3, 2012 at 11:18 am

Or cousins that don't shave.

Come here a minute August 3, 2012 at 11:13 am

Mondale country is also Bachmann country. Just sayin'.

AncienReggie August 3, 2012 at 11:50 am

I tried to move to Mondale country back in 1984 but my ticket was rejected at the border.

Biff August 3, 2012 at 1:34 pm

I have a row of Mondale pine trees in my yard as a windbreak, if that helps. Except all the yardsigns still say this is Palin Country, whatever that means…

Obama is up 10 points now. Just wait until the debates start. I have a feeling that Romney isn't going to be able to piaffe around the issues.

Not even by singing in French?
[although, come to think of it, that would probably be less painful to watch than Romney actually trying to talk]

It's okay, the Republicans are doing everything they can in the various states to make sure the blacks don't vote this time around.

Tundra Grifter August 3, 2012 at 11:20 am

That is what I am very worred about right now. Mr. Obama has a nice lead in Pennsylvania. But this voter ID law could keep up to 10% of those registered from voting.

Interesting how before the current court case started, the state of PA stipulated it had no evidence of a single case of voter impersonation – the only type of fraud voter ID might prevent.

Purging the voting rolls – the Republican's favorite tactic – can't be stopped by voter ID. Google "voter caging" for some fascination information from The Brennan Center.

anniegetyerfun August 3, 2012 at 1:58 pm

I'm holding out hope for riots when people show up at the polls and are turned away because their names were purged from the voter rolls.

After the GNoP Convention, I think the Democrats will just start running the tv commercials produced by (r)Money's Republican Primary opponents.

Newt Gingrich on Mitt Romney:

“I was amazed. I’m standing next to a guy who has the most blatantly dishonest answers I can remember in any presidential race in my lifetime… I don’t know how you can debate someone with civility if they’re prepared to say things that are factually false.”

fuflans August 3, 2012 at 11:39 am

the right really does have a collective pearl clutching meltdown whenever the dems go all rove on their ass.

but i theorize it's because they know the dems are on the popular side (hell, RIGHT side) of so many issues. if you combine 'popular side', 'right side' and 'killer tactics', they have reason to clutch those pearls.

Chet Kincaid_ August 3, 2012 at 11:56 am

Harry Reid is not backing down: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/02/mitt-rom

What Reid is doing is taking one for Team Obama in exactly the same way that Sununu went out there and did his hateful little dog whistle for Team Mittens. I do not have a problem with this. It is long past time we stopped losing elections, and losing a sane future for the country, just so we can say we "took the high road." (Fuck off and get real, Jon Stewart two nights ago!) And Reid is not a stupid man — it may just turn out that his source is right!

freakishlywrong August 3, 2012 at 12:45 pm

Yeah, I love Stewart, but he wades in to this "both sides" a little too much. After the hateapalooza of the last 4 years, I think it's high time a fucking Democrat found a pair. I think it's even cooler that it's softspoken Mormon, Harry Reid, doing it.

tessiee August 3, 2012 at 1:44 pm

"It is long past time we stopped losing elections, and losing a sane future for the country, just so we can say we "took the high road.""

This?
Is pretty much the reason we're all here.
Thank you for stating the case so clearly.

anniegetyerfun August 3, 2012 at 2:01 pm

The thing is, I don't doubt for a second that Reid has a reliable source. I just wish he hadn't come out and made the statement. There are sneakier ways to leak the information, which is probably true, that doesn't damage Dem leadership.

Of course, if Obama comes out now and says, "Of course Mitt Romney paid his taxes – not to do so would be unAmerican," then I might believe that this was planned. Otherwise, it just sort of seems like Reid heard something and couldn't keep it to himself.

Boojum August 3, 2012 at 2:51 pm

I love this. Reid has four years before he has to stand for reelection. He is basically getting in Romney's face and calling him a pussy and daring him to fight. Romney is standing there doing nothing, taking it and proving Reid right, especially with his run tell teacher response.

Trust me, with (at least) Southern men, this kind of shit plays. Coming from perceived whiny pussy Harry Reid, it is like watching Romney get his ass beat by a three year old girl.

AncienReggie August 3, 2012 at 12:01 pm

This is not about the rumor that Romney and Breitbart gang-raped and murdered a boy is it? Oh, that's right: That was in another country, and besides the wench is dead. Sorry.

freakishlywrong August 3, 2012 at 11:21 am

"The white vote, as a percentage of the total vote, was down"

Yeah, that's not some mysterious conspiracy, it's demographics; the white population, as a percentage of the total population of the US, has been going down for quite some time. And we're all better off for that.

actor212 August 3, 2012 at 11:47 am

Yea, but it didn't drop preciptously between 2004 and 2008 and in 2004, 67% of all voters were non-Hispanic whites. The Census Bureau reports that figure was 65% in 2008.

In 2008, it was the mobilization of minority votes that got Obama the nomination and helped get the election, to be sure, along with an historically high level of white support.

SayItWithWookies August 3, 2012 at 11:42 am

If "suppressing the white vote" is the same as putting out negative ads about Mitt Romney, then — um — isn't it Mitt who's got the problem with voter enthusiasm? Ellis spends the last bit of his alleged analysis suggesting all manner of things the Romney campaign could do to improve its image, and then concludes:

"For whatever reason, Team Romney seems disinclined to do this. Maybe they’re waiting for the Convention and the fall campaign. Maybe they haven’t formulated their final plans. Maybe whatever."

Maybe whatever indeed — it might well be Romney's campaign slogan.

Callyson August 3, 2012 at 11:45 am

There’s a lot the Romney campaign could do to change this dynamic. It could, for instance, run a series of television advertisements that recite Mr. Romney’s success in business, management, governance, and high-profile International events. It could articulate a clear plan to jump start economic growth, spur innovation, and encourage investment and opportunity. It could highlight the obvious fact that an effective manager could easily get 10% more productivity out of the Federal government on 10% less money. It could highlight the fact that Governor Romney actually knows how to manage large, complex enterprises and organizations.

In other words, Romney is screwed because those damn dirty Dems insist on telling the truth about his record. DIrty campaigning!

tessiee August 3, 2012 at 1:54 pm

gullywompr August 3, 2012 at 11:55 am

You know, I thought I smelled something funny coming from my TV…

WhatTheHeck August 3, 2012 at 11:56 am

I feel for white people. All these 4 years without any power or clout. They need to get off the endangered species list.

Biel_ze_Bubba August 3, 2012 at 11:57 am

Short version: "Attention white people!! Get out there and vote out the black guy!!!!!!!"

MadBrahms August 3, 2012 at 11:58 am

Other possible cards include the Whole Foods MasterCard, a Starbucks Coffee Card, and an International Dressage Association Membership Card.

Estproph August 3, 2012 at 11:59 am

This is a pathetic argument because stupid.

Today's edition of Teh Internet is a Dangerous Thing.

CFO of local firm records his relatively mild rant at Chick Fil-A employee. Posts it. Gets Fired.

tessiee August 3, 2012 at 2:01 pm

Aside from a mild enjoyment of the irony implicit in this guy being named Adam Smith, I have to wonder what's going on with that. He's the CFO of a corporation; that means he could run down the street holding the severed head of some minimum wage fast food employee and they'd be OK with it, as long as he kept shoveling enough money in their direction.

Wadisay August 3, 2012 at 12:05 pm

The danger for Team Obama is that there will come a moment – “anything is better than this” – that will cause the bottom to fall out of the president’s support among white voters.

The moment will be when the picture emerges of a large iron cauldron being delivered to Barry and Michelle, both of whom are carrying spears and wearing nose rings.

Chet Kincaid_ August 3, 2012 at 12:19 pm

Oh, I guess that's why white people have been photoshopping and emailing such images amongst themselves for the last 5 years.

eggsacklywright August 3, 2012 at 12:06 pm

And Romney's IRA? Let's see, what is it, 6K per year limit on input, and he's got 100 million in the account? So cipher the 5, carry the aught – that's a lot of years he's been socking it away, gold-plated years. Jeebus this shit drives me round the bend.

TootsStansbury August 3, 2012 at 12:15 pm

Mitt Romney: he's the shit sandwich AND the giant douche.

DahBoner August 3, 2012 at 12:18 pm

Do the math, people!

Ignorance plus Inbreeding minus Sanity plus Profit = Bush Cousin = Brain Eating Virus

HistoriCat August 3, 2012 at 12:25 pm

Careful there Mr. Ellis – you can hurt yourself by masturbating so hard.

Baba_NinjaCat12 August 3, 2012 at 12:31 pm

The only chemical warfare I have to content at the polls is what it comes out from people's butt in form of gas, likely from a obese, hoveround Tea Baggers.

Dumbedup August 3, 2012 at 12:37 pm

point is, no matter what happens, the brother is not legit, you dig? So if re elected it was because of these "Chicago Style" (black) tricks and tactics, not that the (white) people chose him in a fair referendum on his leadership. Because they will be depressed at home, fondling their guns and bibles and chicken sandwiches because RMoney was revealed as a cock.

ElPinche August 3, 2012 at 12:39 pm

We ain't your grandpa's liberals. Kumbaya mutherfuckers!

finallyhappy August 3, 2012 at 4:27 pm

Can I make this into a T-shirt? I'm thinking for this year's Zombie fest(the one before Obama was elected was full of Zombies For Obama as will be this one)

ElPinche August 3, 2012 at 4:39 pm

Ha! Go for it!

Steverino247 August 3, 2012 at 12:45 pm

Bush cousin has the IQ of bush meat.

BoroPrimorac August 3, 2012 at 12:50 pm

They're in the third stage of grief with about three months to go. They're fucked and they know it.

Boojum August 3, 2012 at 3:00 pm

Which scares me.

tessiee August 3, 2012 at 1:29 pm

Does all the hand-wringing and math — from the guy who called Florida for Bush, no less — strike anyone else as ironic and/or a clumsy attempt at distraction? Like if the margin gets too close, they won't just rig the voting machines and steal yet another eleciton?

Boojum August 3, 2012 at 3:01 pm

I read that as "hand-wringing and meth" and was in total agreement.

tessiee August 3, 2012 at 1:30 pm

Shorter:
President Obama running campaign ads = voter suppression
Republicans actually blocking people from voting = move along, everyone, nothing to see here

Boojum August 3, 2012 at 3:03 pm

And both sides do it. GOP uses semi-automatic theodolite and racist vote purges; Dems use TV ads. Same thing.

Designer_Rants August 3, 2012 at 1:38 pm

In the sample, 33 percent of respondents identified themselves as Democrats and 22 percent as Republicans. Among the registered voters in the poll, 38 percent identified as Democrats while 25 percent as Republicans, according to Pew.

I'm no Pollster, but this doesn't sound that great.

Eve8Apples August 3, 2012 at 2:20 pm

Wait 'til he finds out about Barry's plan to distract the White Voters on Election Day 2012 by giving all white Republicans a $10.00 gift certificate to Chick-Fil-A. What's the catch? It is only redeemable on November 6, 2012. While the white Republicans are standing in line for their sammiches, we'll steal the election.

BZ1 August 3, 2012 at 2:47 pm

Election booths at Chick-Fil-A!!

TribecaMike August 3, 2012 at 3:45 pm

1) Does John Ellis know that Romney is also running negative ads, just like he did throughout the GOP primaries?

2) Is John Ellis one of the "little brown ones," or is just his nose brown?

GregComlish August 3, 2012 at 9:00 pm

Many white minorities will be spared the terror of Obama's whitermination. I'm not sure bisexuals qualify, but here's hoping we get a pass.

ttommyunger August 4, 2012 at 9:19 am

This assclown's tap-dance with figures makes Rafalca look like a plow horse; which it soon will be, I'm sure.

Boojum August 3, 2012 at 2:53 pm

I think he would throw her under the Messicans pushing the wheelbarrow and cheer them on to glory.
