Race Provocateur Condoleezza ‘Al Sharpton Jr.’ Rice Claims Society Is Still Racist

Pimpin'Whoa whoa WHOA there, Ms. Al Sharpton Jr. and OJ Simpson Jr. Combined! Andrea Mitchell Reported on Andrea Mitchell Reports that known African-American confirmed bachelorette and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, when asked about the Trayvon Martin case perpetrating in Florida, said that we are not a race-blind society. HOW DARE SHE AND ET CETERA! What is she going to do next, claim that there is still institutional racism, particularly at the intersection of race, the courts and the law? How will Tucker Carlson and Ghost Andrew Breitbart feel about this? Will they call her a race pimp? Will they taint everyone who’s ever hugged her with guilt-by-hugging? For some reason, we do not think so. They might even pretend to forget that Condi staunchly defended Affirmative Action too — along with fellow whiny-ass titty-baby Colin Powell — but will they ever be able to get over the fact that she does not even bother to explain that the worst racism is pointing out when something is racist? OUTRAGING video and transcript, after the jump!

From Andrea Mitchell Reports:

ANDREA MITCHELL: Trayvon Martin, here’s a case where an African American teenager was shot and killed and there has still not been any legal action taken against the man who shot him, a man who is alleged to have shot him without cause, a teenager who was unarmed. What does this say about American society, what does this say about our law enforcement, to you who grew up experiencing Birmingham, Alabama, in the Civil Rights era? You lost one of your kindergarten schoolmates in the church burning in Birmingham.

CONDOLEEZZA RICE: Well first of all, this is a great tragedy. This young man has been deprived of life and that’s an enormous tragedy, and we all should have prayers for his family and those who are left behind. So it’s a great tragedy, that’s the first thing to say. Secondly, I’ve always said that obviously we’re not a race-blind society. We aspire to be one, we work toward it, we’ve gotten better, but we are not yet. But I am not going to comment on the legal aspects of this case, because as I understand it, the Justice Department is looking into it, local authorities are looking into it, and I certainly hope that justice will be done here and due process accorded, but I’m not going to comment on the legal aspects of this, I’m not competent to do so.

ANDREA MITCHELL: Without commenting on the legal aspects, do you think it likely that if the races were reversed, if the man with the gun had been African American and the victim had been white, do you really think it would have taken weeks and community pressure and protests in order to even get the Federal government, to say nothing of local officials, involved?

CONDOLEEZZA RICE: Andrea, there is simply no way to know, and there is simply no way to answer a speculative question like that in what is a very explosive environment. And so I am very glad that the Justice Department is going to look into it, it’s totally appropriate that Attorney General Holder would do so, and we’ll leave this in the hands of the authorities.

Actually, I don't think she's that way inclined. I can't stand the bitch, but kudos to her, she is actually an intelligent BLACK woman who had a very hard time getting to where she is today because of her race, gender, and the era in which she was born. I'm sure that left an awful lot of scars, and I strongly suspect she's gay or at least bisexual. She owns a house with another woman, and has lived with this woman for a long time. So. Your guess is as good as mine, she keeps her private life very much under wraps. I'm sorry she sold out to Moloch. She could have been a good role model to young black women of today. Eh, we have Melissa Harris-Perry.

I said a CUTE lady. This goes for the moon, too. Lady astronauts never got a break there. I say it's a double mission for Mae Jemison, another adorable confirmed bachelorette with a bazillion graduate degrees.

        1. Doktor StrangeZoom

Funny, I don't really remember anything about Jemison's mission–but I was awfully impressed that it got her a cameo on ST:TNG.

Further nerdish trivia: outside of regular cast members, I'm pretty sure only one person has guest starred on both Star Trek (TNG) and The Simpsons, and that would be Stephen "Time for this bird to fly" Hawking.

          1. Doktor StrangeZoom

Hmmm… I think I'll exclude Nimoy because, really, he IS Star Trek… but to fully exclude him and Kelsey Grammer, I will cleverly reframe the whole thing: Hawking is the only person to guest star in both shows as himself.

And, no, Kang and Kodos don't count either.

        2. flamingpdog

It'll never happen. It's a long trip to the Moon, and teh womynz have to stop too many times on the way to take a pee.

          1. IceCreamEmpress

If there's one thing I learned from CourtTV or whatever it's called now, it's that lady astronauts have an infinite supply of adult diapers. And crazy.

    1. FROTHY

Barb — have you LOOKED at Condolezza? Any man who volunteered to get on her would have to be seriously vision-and-empathy-impaired.

Oh, wait. Wouldn't MINT RMONEY be just perfect?

  1. nounverb911

I'd like to see Condi's reaction after she walks around in Florida after dark wearing a hoodie and carrying Skittles.

      1. Toomush_Infer

Of course, then it would be unregulated as a weapon – they could put anything in Skittles! …I have no idea what's in them now- rubber?…

    1. FROTHY

Sorry, I can't find the snark there. A woman friend of mine (Black, of course) was attacked by the cops in Hollywood, literally jumped and beat, because they "thought she was the suspect in the armed robbery of a 7/11." The suspect was described as a Black male, 6' tall. My friend is 5'6" and has enormous bazooms. How the FUCK they mistook her for a 6' tall male is beyond belief. They had the gall to book her for resisting arrest, to add insult to injury. She lives in France now.

So, yeah, on account of being Black, Condi would probably have been arrested or worse yet, shot, in a heartbeat if she looked or dressed like Trayvon Martin. There's a reason Black people dress to the nines, if they can afford to.

  2. actor212

Whoa! Slow down there, sister! How can we still be racist if you were four heartbeats away from the Presidency! Huh? HUH?

Don't blame us you weren't all Lady MacBeth enough to kill your husband, tell Dick Cheney his stent fell out and club Pelosi and Reid!

    1. dubyatf

Know what I love about this story? Eric Handler is BLACK.
Can you hear all anencephalic heads in Florida exploding?
      Sweet, sweet music.

  3. ChernobylSoup

Oh. So you're finished digging graves for 100,000+ dead Iraqis with your fingernails? No? Then why the fuck are you speaking in public?

  4. AlterNewt

"…and we’ll leave this in the hands of the authorities."

Sounds ominous when Condi says it.

  5. SexySmurf

At least no one can accuse her of hugging Derrick Bell.

Or any other man, for that matter.

    1. dubyatf

And in that vein (ew)–and by that I reference your nod to "blowing"–Rebecca said "taint." Heh.

    2. FROTHY

The blame belongs with George Bush and DICK Cheney. Yes, Rice was a willing tool and accomplice. But how many avenues are there for a Black woman with brains and a yen for power? Marry a Presidential candidate? OK, how about a Black LESBIAN with brains and a yen for power?

We all kiss the white man's ass for every crumb off his table as it is. Some of us just want a little more than crumbs. I despise her but don't entirely blame her.

  6. spends2much

Upcoming Fox News Special Report: Condoleeza Rice says "we're…a race blind society"!

Like any of the morons who watch Fox would even notice the missing word.

  7. BaldarTFlagass

"do you think it likely that if the races were reversed, if the man with the gun had been African American and the victim had been white, do you really think it would have taken weeks and community pressure and protests in order to even get the Federal government, to say nothing of local officials, involved?"

    uh, uh, uh, DUHHHH!

    1. Doktor StrangeZoom

Of course not. If a blah had shot a non-blah, there'd be no federal involvement, because the local prosecutor would be in the middle of jury selection by now.

  8. LabRodent

So she's not Gay, just really unattractive or both. (not that theres something wrong with being unattractive and gay)

    1. FROTHY

She owns a house with another woman. Now, this could just be the "Boston marriage" we in the gay community have always heard about — you know, two nice ladies buying a house together to share the expenses, etc. But I kinda doubt that. They've lived together for quite a while now, and houses in CA cost an arm and a leg. Not the kind of business arrangement you'd want to get into unless there's a little sweetener on the side.

    1. Chet Kincaid

Allen West takes his nightstand pistol (affectionately named "Debbie Shooterman") into the bathroom every morning, in case he surprises himself in the mirror. He is within his rights to blow himself away!!

        1. sullivanst

Only after it invented a plot he could claim to have thwarted by the fact that it never came to fruition

  9. flamingpdog

Jeb Bush, who signed the "You can shoot up darkies as you please Act", announced today that he supports Mittens for President. No attempt to deflect attention from this case, I'm sure.

  10. Extemporanus

Condoleeza Rice only comments on smoking guns that are mushroom clouds.

[ADDING: Blueb4sunrise may have been a minute or two quicker on the draw, but let the record show that I stood my ground. And then died.]

  11. Hera Sent Me

She didn't seem too concerned about the consequences of institutionalized racism when she conspired with her fellow neo-cons to fabricate the evidence justifying attacking Iraq, and killing thousands of the brown-tinted people who lived there.

    1. chicken_thief

But the oval office had not been usurped by a Kenyan mooslin Nazi who sat in that church for 20 yrs back then. So it was ok. USA!!!! USA!!! USA!!!! And never fergit. Also. Too.

    2. dubyatf

I'm afraid I have to disagree with your statement re: killing thousands of Iraqis. Sure, they're brown tinted, but they're not PEOPLE. Silly!

  12. Man0nTheStreet

WOW!! – the 2012 GOP VP candidate field is getting crowded! Of course, this racist, Marxist, "Whitey"-hating, far-too-"Urban" race-hustler Con-DOLE-eeee-za Rice is no longer in the mix, but that's just fine! The early front-runner is still Arizona's patriotic pride Jared Loughner, but Staff Sgt. Robert Bales, heroic slayer of Afghans, has become a BIG favorite in the recent Fox News viewer polls, and this Dark-Horse candidate out of Florida, George "Serve & Protect" Zimmerman, is coming on strong with his Tea-Party-Approved "Give-the-people-what they-want" strategy. And now there's Man of the World Neil Livingstone! throwing his hat in the ring! Truly, it is Morning In America!

RNC HQ must be overjoyed with their rich harvest of future Leaders!

    1. dubyatf

This rich harvest courtesy of 30 years' worth of Conservative Bullshit fertilization. If you stand facing South in a headwind, you can smell it.

  13. Lionel[redacted]Esq

If you watched FOX News, you would know the simple answer to this:

She's black, so unless she is against racism against Whites, she cannot have a meaningful opinion as to racism. It is what Martin Luther King, Jr. wanted!

    1. Chet Kincaid

Ironic, because if FOX News existed 60 years ago, they'd have insisted that MLK was a Goddamned Communist. (The oldest fucks pulling the strings at FOX probably actually DID say this.)

      1. sullivanst

The oldest ones said it at the time.

The rest probably still say it. But only in quiet rooms, you understand.

      2. flamingpdog

True fact: I bought an old post card from the 50s at a post card show which shows a very young ML King sitting in the audience at some meeting of radical socialists or whatever and he's identified in the post card as hanging out with Communists. The post card was produced in Louisiana and has all the earmarks of the Birchers and the Koch daddy.

At the time, you could buy 100 of the post cards for a dollar. I paid considerably more because it just blew me away. The woman who sold me the post card looked kind of embarrassed when I showed it to her.

      3. Negropolis

Ain't that the truth. Were it not for his untimely death, the idiots might have won the narrative war with him. By the time he got down to Memphis, they were basically already opening that attack on him, again. Because, god forbid we treat workers like human beings, right?

  14. Nostrildamus

I’m not going to comment on the legal aspects of this, I’m not competent to do so.

See also "Bin Laden Determined to Strike Against US".

  15. sullivanst

Wow, first time in my memory a Republican has allowed lack of knowledge of a subject to stop them from commenting on that subject.

What's next, drawing conclusions from facts? We all know that's immediately followed by Communism because shut up, that's why!

  16. Redhead

Hmm. Thoughtful, logical, let-me-stop-and-think-before-I-put-my-foot-in-my-mouth comments. Romney, Santorum, Paul, Gingrich, Perry, Bachmann, Palin, et al are staring at the screen going, "Does not compute!"

  17. pinkocommi

I've always thought Condaleeza is the perfect spokesperson for blah people. And, by that, I don't mean black. I mean, really, really "blah."

  18. BaldarTFlagass

If these interviewees aren't going to answer any questions, why bother with the interview? It's like "Tap Dancing With the Bush Administration Stars."

    1. dubyatf

Surely, BaldarT, you mean "Tap Dancing With the Bush Administration Black Holes."
      Oh, YES, I DID.
I love it when science and double entendre collide.

  19. flamingpdog

    "Ghost Andrew Breitbart"

Thanks, Rebecca, for that one uplifting note in this otherwise horrific clusterfuck of a story.

  20. chicken_thief

About that photo: it makes me proud that Condi saw fit to get all dressed up and shit to go get her welfare check and food stamps. Dressing right says a lot about a person.

    1. flamingpdog

Dressing her and the rest of the war criminals in the Dubya administration right would say a lot about them that I would like.

      1. FROTHY

You know how it is. Even when you're a highly paid, accomplished Black person, it's all about welfare and whoring and all those things those BLAH people do.

I never expected to hear such a comment here. I can take the racist shit when it comes from Red State. Gotta go get my welfare check now, and push a broom around for a couple hours.

  21. thefrontpage

David Letterman should interview Condoleezza Rice! Better yet, Bono should interview Condoleezza Rice!

  22. Not_So_Much

The GOP overlords won't be happy with this departure from talking points.

She's going to need to work those whore-boots extra hard to smooth this over.

  23. FakaktaSouth

What do ya mean what will they say on Fox? Nothing. They will pretend it didn't happen until they can turn it into a liberal media reaction thing instead of an honest analysis of racism in America.

      1. MosesInvests

We're still working out the details of the hit-next midnight meeting in the cemetery in Prague.

  24. Antispandex

See? This is all it takes to get people to drop the party line. She rather obviously feels the next winger with a gun might mistake HER for an average black woman, before seeing her GW Bush "don't shoot I'm on your side", card.

  25. vodkamuppet

I haven't a shred of snark for this story. What happened to that kid was flat out murder. Rodney King getting his ass beat the fuck up for being a drunk crackhead doesn't even come close to this. I'm white but my child (6 more months!) will be half black, which in our country means black. It sickens me that my kid could be stalked and murdered for walking down the street and the guy hasn't even been charged with a crime.

    1. GOPCrusher

If you would of kept that aspirin between your knees, you wouldn't be having this problem now.

    2. FROTHY

That's what it's like to be the parent of a Black child in America. My stepson is whiter than a sheet of paper, but he has nappy hair, so the store cops in Macy's felt perfectly OK about following "the nigger kid" around. There wasn't a day when that child was walking around the streets that our hearts didn't leap in terror every time we heard a gunshot or a police siren or the clock ticked past his curfew time. And his Daddy is as white as they come. To look at, anyway.

      1. vodkamuppet

It terrifies the shit out of my ass because I don't understand it. Everyone in America immediately notices race, it's a racially diverse country. What I don't understand is the hatred. It's over my head. My Irish grandfather hated Italians because they were competing for the same jobs. That I get. This shit is just mindless. Its about skin color and thats all.
My kid for no other reason than being sorta brown and walking somewhere can just get fucking murdered. Im in Detroit not Florida but people here are killing eachother all the time. There are enough gun nuts in western MI to get a similar 'Stand your ground' law passed here. If that happens, I'm moving accross the river to Canada.

        1. Negropolis

According to maps I've seen, Michigan is a state with one of these types of laws. Surprised the hell out of me, but the NRA sneaks in all kinds of legislation every. single. year.

          1. vodkamuppet

Oh god. I'm moving my family somewhere far the fuck away cuz no matter what, my kid isnt growing up as a black kid in America. Fuck that.

  26. Lud

Condolezbian Rice lives with a lady named Bean. What's the GOP recipe for rice & beans? Beats me, but I'm sure it doesn't include wieners . . .

  27. GreatChristiano

    Wouldn't Condoleeeeza be a Provocatrix?

I'm ok with the initial claim; its the "AND ETCETERA" that really upsets me horribly…

  28. chascates

She was on PBS last night saying how we need to beef up education because so many of our young people aren't smart enough to join the military!

    1. FROTHY

I'm sure in her mind, the only reason to get an education would be to serve the nation as cannon-fodder. Except for the L33TZ, who direct the cannon-fodder. What a horrible, evil cow.

  29. valthemus

Platitudes, a statement of the obvious and a "no comment"? Really, Condi? That's the best someone with your reputation, access and capabilities can offer in this situation? Really?!? Next time (and we know there'll be a next time) try not to be such a useless wench!

    1. FROTHY

She *is* a useless wench. And she can't say what she really thinks because it would be used as evidence against her in a court of law.

  30. Tundra Grifter

According to "Newsbusters" – and we all know its always correct – the lamestream media are hiding the statement from a neighbor of George Zimmerman that perhaps he wasn't acting so crazy after all, because there have been eight homes broken into over the past 15 months – "most" of the criminals being African-Americans.

Now, how the neighbor knows the race of the perps is somewhat beyond me. If all the people who did it got caught, there isn't really an law enforcement problem in this community. And if they got away, how do people know who did it?

But, hey, a burglary every sixty days! Obviously that's a perfectly good reason to attack every young Black man in a hoodie walking through the community.

Unfortunately, I can't comment on Newsbusters and tell these idiots what I think – got kicked off for failing to toe the right-wing-nutz' party line.

    1. dubyatf

Somehow I've never quite managed to equate a human life with any piece of personal property that could be carried out of a house by one or two people.

  31. Negropolis

She literally admitted to one thing about this situation. One. On the actual issue, she kept taking passes. Sorry. BTW, the sentiment also goes to other folks in high office who've been asked about this, and taken a convenient pass. This is yet another one of those events that happens where the people are FAR ahead of the politicians. It would not be politically risky to speak on something so blatantly obvious that even many conservative Republicans are saying "that's fucked up."
