Romney Advisers Taunt GOP Base, Cite 'Math' and Other Booklearnin' Things

Clearly knowing as little about GOP voters as their boss, monocled Wall Street toff Mitt Romney, Romney senior advisers told reporters, "Math." Painting a picture of Hillary Clintonesque Inevitability, they rattled off some numbers and munneez and said ho no NO WAY could arch-progressive Rick Santorum catch up BECAUSE GET OUT RICK SANTORUM! GET OUT NOW!

“The nomination is an impossibility for Rick Santorum or Newt Gingrich,” one senior campaign aide said. “All we have to do is keep doing what we’re doing [and] we can get the nomination. These guys, it’s going to take some sort of…act of God to get to where they need to be on the nomination prize.”

The advisors go on to say that an "Act of God" would be defined as Rick Santorum winning 65 percent of the remaining delegates, which seems ... not "impossible" actually? "Impossible" would mean "342 percent" perhaps? Did we get right? We're not sure because math class is hard. [ Politico ]
