The way the modern media works, I think the first rule of public relations is this: as soon as your side is accused of something, immediately accuse the other side of the exact same thing. It doesn't matter if it makes any sense to accuse the other side of the exact same thing, the only thing that matters is that now you've set up the "he said/she said" dynamic, and the initial criticism of your side has been effectively nullified. Now the media has to report that "both sides have been criticized" for whatever it was.

It's not just Malkin; straight-up lying to claim that the protesters are almost all white is the latest talking point that's all over the place now.
Yep, this was inevitable and seeing as how wingnut originality in witticisms tends to be deeply racist and/or culturally offensive, instead outside in "polite company" they rip off liberal witticisms which were fresh and funny at the time. They then proceed to completely destroy the humor of the original by turning it into something deeply racist/culturally offensive (e.g. "Bush is a dumbass son of privilege" turns into "Obama is dumb because he's black") and so forth. The differences between the 'baggers and occupados is this: when the occupados came out to protest it was against corporate/government corruption and its corrosive effects whereas baggers were in favor of more saying "if only this country were more rotted with corruption the 'job creators' would hire". That's the key, principle difference between the movements…oh, and the occupados are young and judging by the lady in that photo are attractive urbanites upset with the rank inequality of contemporary America whereas baggers are ugly rural inbreds mobilized by blind hatred of the idea that a black guy can run "their" 'Merika.
Many, many, many upfists for this astute observation I think should be made more often. It kind of goes back to why liberals or other minorities can say things about minorities and disadvantaged people that conservatives can't. We know they are laughing with us, while the conservatives are always, always laughing at us.
Of course, as soon as it's pointed out that there are many people of color among the protesters, the next story line from Fox will be that Occupy Wall Street is dominated by Obama's Fellow Blacks.
I know the guy in the center- he's a photographer and he's half-Japanese (half "white"). I don't know the girl to his right, but she looks half-asianish too.
I see several faces in there that look biracial, plus blacks, latinos, and possibly south and east asians.
I think Malkin scores 100 points this season. I'm really worried about the state of Sid's health, however.
This is not Malkin's fault. After all, since she was an anchor/terror baby, she probably does not know English well enough to understand what she is claiming.

But could it be that Ms. Malkin is using that old time Founding Fathers math? If each not-white-like-'Bagger-God-intended male person is counted as only 3/5 of a person, and not-white-like-'Bagger-God-intended female person is of course not counted at all, I could see where the resulting calculation could demonstrate a much-higher-than-reality-would-indicate percentage of white-like-'Bagger-God-intended people.
