Obama Holding Fake ‘Town Hall Meeting’ On Facebook Today

Do you love to combine time-wasting, ineffectual things? Then you won’t want to miss today’s Barack Obama campaign appearance/”Town Hall Meeting” on Facebook. Wow, that is the Holy American Trinity of useless computer things, right there. Don’t forget to sign up! Maybe Barack will “friend you back.” (Not really.) [Facebook]

We should join! That nice Mark Zuckerberg sure could use the money.
Wonder if the Secret service will block me from "poking" Barry?

There needs to be a Facebook app like Farmville called "Real Murika" where you can earn don't tread on me flags and virual hoverounds.

It's roughly the equivalent of posting your SSAN, bank ABA and account numbers, personal and work email addresses, two years of W2s, and brokerage statements with all passwords, on a Web site that anyone can access. Can't see any reason not to do that, can you? So go ahead and click "Like."

Ugh. Facebook. I had a page for about 20 seconds. Every ex I ever had immediately friend requested, (there's a reason they're an ex.) Also, every wingtard that is somehow iconnected through rightwing acquaintances would post birfer nonsense and other 'tarded shit. Got out as fast as I could.

Oh all right, Barry, I'll accept your friend request. But I'm totally hiding your posts, just because.

I'll watch it. But only after setting my fb in pirate language mode, at which point I expect to see my president, too, in full regaliaaaargh or else, how can I ever believe anything I see on the news again?

Wait, if it's a facebook town hall on the computer box, how are you supposed to disrupt it by yelling about birf certificates? I bet teabaggers all over the country will be cold shouting and waving signs at their monitors, wondering why the preznit isn't paying attention to them.

…and concluding that he's an elitist who is "out of touch" with "the American People".

Nah, that's the best part; look at them and think, "if I had stayed with them I'd have to look at that everyday." I felt a bit of schadenfreude in seeing that one ex got fat; and a little annoyed at my clueless younger self seeing that another was actually a then-closeted lesbian.

I'm still pissed off at Arne Duncan and the President for not smacking the Tennessee legislature upside the head for violating the terms of Tennessee's Race to the Top application (which netted us $500 million), so I will not be clicking Like.

  9. RedneckMuslin

I'll watch after you accept my Farmville neighbor request. I need boards for my sheep barn, too!

i guess this erects some support for what i've long thought about penis size: that guys make a bigger deal out of it then is warranted and that trying one of these methods might leave you feeling shafted. so really, it's a poor workman who blames his tools.

The downfist troll hates comments about facebook too? No friends in real life or on the internet, eh troll?

    1. Lionel[redacted]Esq

Apparently, he hates us making fun of Obama. Must be a Socialist/Islamist/Anarchist.

I think it's all about damage control after Brown won in Mass. The big O (and not Oprah. OT- is she still the queen?) will start spewing populist reforms, knowing they won't get passed. This is all an effort to keep the mid term elections from being a Democrat disaster.

I don't get this elevation of Zuckerberg. He's not Gates, which is a "thank god" kind of relief, but it's also a moment of "then why is he being elevated to Gates-like status/why are powerful people continuing to feed his ego?" It'll be a cold day in hell before I kiss that troll's ring. He's not even king of the nerds.

  14. DarkStar_88

Forget teabaggers, this will attract every troll and hacker on the web. I hope Obama's cybersecurity people are ready…
