Did we evenmentionthat NPR's Ron Schiller had left the network to work for that Aspen Institute elitist think tank thing? No, we did not mention it. (Who cares, right?) Still, somebody at the Aspen Institute sent an individual email to your editor just now, to make sure we know that Ron Schiller has been un-hired, because he mentioned in supposed private conversation theundeniable and widely documented factthat Tea Party supporters are angry old white racists:

Ron Schiller has informed us that, in light of the controversy surrounding his recent statements, he does not feel that it’s in the best interests of the Aspen Institute for him to come work here.

Great work, everyone! It's a day to be proud of -- let's make sure America's Corporate-Liberal Think Tanks don't become unjustly dirtied by anything going on in this dumb country.
I guessing Ron has a lot of pent up raight wing hate and ranting ready to let loose of the world at this time. So as far as working for Wonkette, he’s well qualified. But would he be willing to take a cut in pay? At least I assume it would be a cut in pay.
The tea party is a terrible terrible populist movement pandering to the very worst (and most ancient) instincts of american society. It stands for everything the founding fathers despised. Its proponents are agitating for policy that will not only mimic the gilded age in all its tawdry glory but possibly nip the nascent economic recovery in the bud. It’s followers are hypocritical, short-sighted and generally under-educated.
oh and yeah: fuck baggers. They are fat racist slobs on scooters.
and I’m not apologizing or quitting anything.
