Walnuts is not going to lose his re-election campaign to the token Democrat running against him, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t very jealous of his “trained countertenor” opponent’s singing ability for some reason. So his people put out this video:
But the McCain campaign does not appear impressed. “It’s a good thing for Rodney that Simon Cowell isn’t in charge, or he’d be gone well before Election Day,” Brian Rogers, Mr. McCain’s communications director, said in a statement.
Huh? So if Simon Cowell was “in charge,” McCain would be elected because he is very good at singing? Sounds like somebody needs a nap, Senator Crankypants. [NYT]

It was my understanding that he did some "singing" for his North Vietnamese captors many years ago.
McCain could be right. Just look at how quickly he was able to change his tune when the Tea Party started challenging him.
