John McCain’s Campaign Thinks He’s Really Good At Singing

by Jack Stuef

Walnuts is not going to lose his re-election campaign to the token Democrat running against him, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t very jealous of his “trained countertenor” opponent’s singing ability for some reason. So his people put out this video:

But the McCain campaign does not appear impressed. “It’s a good thing for Rodney that Simon Cowell isn’t in charge, or he’d be gone well before Election Day,” Brian Rogers, Mr. McCain’s communications director, said in a statement.

Huh? So if Simon Cowell was “in charge,” McCain would be elected because he is very good at singing? Sounds like somebody needs a nap, Senator Crankypants. [NYT]

"Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" is a big hit on the Scottsdale Easy Listening stations.

It was my understanding that he did some "singing" for his North Vietnamese captors many years ago.

McCain could be right. Just look at how quickly he was able to change his tune when the Tea Party started challenging him.

McCain's got my vote. That other guy sings like a girl. I can think of no better way to decide.

Here's Glassman "singing" Sweet Home Arizona and generally making a fool of himself better than Walnuts ever could.

Huh. I would have though that the McCain campaign had a budget. Guess times are tough all around.
