Yeah I can’t help but note the symbolism at work here. The Democratic Party which holds voting majorities across all ethnic groups except for whites and is northern-based is the slave party. No, marriage is not actually that great in and of itself. It can have some okay externalities, but there are many many family configurations that are vastly preferable to certain two parent families, and even two-parent-of-opposite-gender families, in some cases. Loveless marriages are pretty terrible, counter-productive even. Abusive marriages are even worse, so shaming victims of domestic abuse into staying married is literally one of the most odious ideas for “fixing” the “marital culture” that anyone could dream up. Marriage doesn’t magically turn males’ criminal nature, because it ends up that men are capable of doing things other than having sex with ladies and committing felonies. The idea that men don’t know how to function as members of society unless they have a woman playing the role of mother-by-proxy is frankly insulting, to both men and women.
