Breitbart Has PROOF the NAACP Is Racist

  raps

America's favorite guy who has $100,000.Andrew Breitbart is here once again to save the day, this time to show us that the NAACP is racist, NOT Teabaggers. “The NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus do not want racial harmony. They want political victory, and the race card is their Strativarius [sic],” he writes, hilariously. The NAACP wants to take out their main political opponents, the Teabaggers, by playing classical music on rare, expensive violins. But SORRY BLACK PEOPLE, Breitbart has stopped the NAACP once and for all, as he has his hands on the AMAZING racism video that will destroy their association for the advancement of colored people.

OKAY, OKAY, YOU GUYS, ANDREW BREITBART IS SO EXCITED AND NERVOUS, BUT HE NEEDS TO SET THIS UP FIRST. There is a woman named Shirley Sherrod who is a member of the NAACP and is also the Georgia Director of Rural Development for the USDA. So she is important! And one time she told a story about how a poor white farmer talked down to her when he needed her help. YET she did not do every single thing in her power to help him. She only averagely helped him. Thus, she and the NAACP are bigots because Breitbart has this video.

The end. Oh, yeah, don’t bother watching the video. BORING.

(Whoops, forgot to center some random images of movie posters and such that have little to do with the story between the paragraphs of this post.) [Big Government]

Since it’s officially Grammar Nazi Week, I will ignore his blathering idiocy and call him a fucktard that can’t spell Stradivarius.

  2. The Silver Fox

Pretty sure it’s Stradivarius – with a d. Are the teabagger leaders so beholden to their retard base that they too must spell things incorrectly at every opportunity?

  3. DoktorZoom

It’s “Stradivarius,” moran. Unless maybe you’re talking about an exceptionally well-crafted high-alititude violin.

  4. facehead

Of course the NAACP is so racist zomg, wake up persons of non-color! Not only that, most Teabaggers actually love Obama, but who they really hate is that Joe Biden, because ZOMG JOE BIDEN WHAT A DILDO!!

[re=620603]DoktorZoom[/re]: [re=620602]The Silver Fox[/re]: [re=620600]Troubledog[/re]: Plus, an additional ten points off for mixing metaphors.

  6. chascates

Until he has one of his tools in blackface try to engage actual blacks in trashing honkies I’m not interested.

  7. ManchuCandidate

OMG a white person was ineffectually helped by the gubbiment!!! I’m… meh.

It seems “I’m not racist” racists like Bitpart go out of their way to demonize black people (and now Messicans) when it is found that, horrors, black people can be shitty bureaucrats like everyone else can be. I’m beginning to understand why race in US America is so fucked up.

BTW, it needs moar Pimp Cane.

[re=620602]The Silver Fox[/re]: [re=620600]Troubledog[/re]: [re=620603]DoktorZoom[/re]: I mean, if it were anyone else, would I care? But if you’re going to be enough of pretentious dick to actually trying to use a word like “Stradivarius” to spice up your metaphors, you have to spell it right; it’s like misusing a latin motto. The amount of ridicule you receive should be directly proportional to how much of an asshole poseur you come off as.

Also: BREAKING NEWS A BLACK PERSON IS IN THE NAACP AND ALSO DOESN’T LIKE WHITE PEOPLE, therefore all NAACP people hate white people, unlike white teapartiers who are not racist, even if we could find one or two (thousand?) who carry racist signs

  9. The Silver Fox

Sorry. I did watch the video, and it was of a low level bureaucrat talking about her revelation that she shouldn’t have racial bias and should instead focus on poverty. So this random Georgia lady learned to not be prejudiced. Isn’t that a good thing? And why is Breitbart such a whiny little bitch?

  10. SayItWithWookies

Andrew Breitbart and video evidence go together like ex-gay evangelicals and vaginas.

  11. Troubledog

[re=620605]V572625694[/re]: I wonder if this week’s Conservative Grifter Talking Points (secret listserv somewhere in the bowels of Tucker Carlson’s frozen entree factory) has advised all of them to make at least one grammatical or typographical gaffe this week — wait, stay with me now — so that the so-called intellectual liberals will seem petty and small for mocking such trivia.

Listen, you can call me a conspiracy theorist if you want. But when John Ashcroft came for my library books, I did nothing…

  12. ArugulaTeleprompterz

When will something large and heavy fall from the sky and crush this snivelling shithead?

  13. DoktorZoom

Also fun: on page 2 of the Breitbart comments, there’s a collective freakout about a number of comments briefly disappearing from the site. Couldn’t be a tech glitch; nope, they’re being CENSORED OR HACKED BY THE MSM, ZOMG!!1!

  14. Undeterredbyreality

Strativarius=cross between Fender Stratocaster and Stradivarius=electric guitar you can bow the blues on. And yes, that is their race card. That’s why Jimi burned his.

  15. Mad Brahms

[re=620617]The Silver Fox[/re]: Now I watched it too, and what the hell?

So basically Breitbart is using a well-intentioned parable about the need to get past race as an example of how someone is, in fact, a racist. What a disingenuous, opportunistic toolbox.

  16. Katydid

Well, the good news is libertarian fucktard Roy Innis writes for bigbullshit.com, and he’s criticizing the NAACP. And he’s…..(drumroll)….black and everything.

    da-da-da-duh

    Who’s racist now, Dimocraps?

  17. Les Paultard

    Sradivarius: old violin
    Stratocaster: Stevie Ray’s guitar
Strativarius: violin worth $39 on Antiques Roadshow

  18. Mad Brahms

[re=620633]Katydid[/re]: Seriously, BigBullshit.com should really get some sort of truth-in-marketing award.

  19. JMP

Hopefully Breitbart’s overreaching will rebound to harm him this time. The dick’s success in lying to get a good organization defunded and destroyed previously seems to have gone to his head, so now he’s going after bigger targets; the thing is, the NAACP is a lot more powerful and influential than ACORN, so spineless Democrats won’t be so willing to follow the cretin’s slander.

Breitbart claims he wants proof that any of the teabaggers are racist, but all he has to do is look at the image from this morning’s round up here for that, or any one of hundreds of others; of course, that’s not what he really wants, what he’s after is destruction. He’s a racist himself, and constant apologist for racism, always getting outraged whenever someone points out that something obviously racist is racist; and he loves to smear and destroy groups that try and protest and combat racism. In other words, he’s a nasty shitload of fuck, and a bad person.

  20. EdFlinstone

Wakeup sheeple! First it was ACORN, then is was the 4 members of the new black panthers preventing all white people from ever voting, now this. Just how long will the white race continue to suffer from this black oppression?

  21. RoscoePColtraine

“Harmony” is inappropriate as a word to use when describing things that go together pleasantly, as it also refers to dissonance. Take that, Mr. BreitFART.

[re=620618]Radiotherapy[/re]: You beat me, dammit! Man, I hate playing second fiddle!

  23. Hooray For Anything

You know who else was a racist? Martin Luther King, what with his going around pointing out that the nice, considerate social system set up by their neighborly white people was racist or his telling them that their desire to give black people the nicest, most comfortable part of the bus was racist. Why did Martin Luther King hate white people?

  24. Another DC Lawyer (Again)

Mix metahors much dumbass? How about:

    * The race card completes their royal flush
    * The race card is their ace in the hole
    * They compose a sympathy of discord and use race as their Stradavarius
    * The music of intolerance is their theme song and race is their Stradavarius

I just came up with those in 30 seconds and I’m not a dickwad who makes a living on stuff like this. And I thought my liberal arts education was going to be a complete waste of time…

I’m tired of politicians and political hacks mangling the English language. A few weeks ago Nikki Haley said her opponents “literally threw the kitchen sink at me.” REALLY?! Your opponents were a bunch of plumbers who hurled kitchen appliances at you? English only laws would kill these people…they can’t even speak Stupid.

  25. Katydid

[re=620640]JMP[/re]: How can you harm a sociopath? Seriously, just for a second. He may not be criminally sociopathic, but look up sociopath. He has no remorse, no empathy, no feelings for others.

Now they call it antisocial personality disorder, but dig: ” “…a pervasive pattern of disregard for, and violation of, the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood.”

  26. Hopey dont play that game

Breitbart loves it when the Black Panthers “stick it to the man” so he can “Spank the Stradivarius”.

  27. carlgt1

[re=620600]Troubledog[/re]: he must have got the violin confused with the Fender Stratocaster guitar — the model that Lee Atwater played until his untimely demise & deathbed confession against his right-wing ideology through life….

  28. Katydid

[re=620657]weejee[/re]: Ayup. Innis and Keyes have banded together to expose the racism of the Black man.

  29. Okie Dokie Dog

So the blacks get the fancy violins and the white teabaggers only gotz the dueling banjos?

  30. JMP

[re=620646]Hooray For Anything[/re]: No no, Martin Luther King was a conservative Republican who would have been horrified at the NAACP calling somebody a racist, because today his dream has come about and there is no more racism any more, no none at all, and so anyone calling someone racist is the real racist.

[re=620653]Katydid[/re]: My hope is that, like Mel Gibson or Mark Williams this morning, he’ll become unhinged enough to go off on a rant so extreme that even his fellow travellers will have to admit it’s racist and have to distance themselves from him, for the PR.

Criminal conspiracy charges following O’Keefe or another protege conducting another illegal ratfucking stunt would be even better.

  31. mumblyjoe

And meanwhile, there’s this guy. Who’s not racist –don’t you dare call him racist– but simply doesn’t want non-whites (or jews, who he helpfully clarifies are ‘mistakenly’ considered white) living anywhere near him. And by “anywhere near him”, meaning in America, at all. But also he’s not racist, because he says so, and because he can manage to tolerate getting paid to work at a daycare for “those people”, and isn’t that truly what anti-racism is all about?

Oh yeah, and New Hampshirians: some of you are paying money to have this guy watch your kids, and may soon be paying tax dollars to have him represent your state district in the state Assemply. Just… just FYI.

Sorry about all that- what I meant to say is, “what racism?”

    [re=620673]mumblyjoe[/re]: [re=620672]Extemporanus[/re]: I failed, too…redundantly.

  35. PsycGirl

[re=620670]mumblyjoe[/re]: “I’m not a racist, but….” is a 100% accurate predictor that a person is in fact racist. Funny how that connection doesn’t get made. Kind of like Bill O’Reilly saying that he wasn’t racist when he talked about how well behaved the clientele at Sylvia’s was. I have that quote on a PowerPoint slide for class along with the denial and it has never failed to bring laughter to a freshman psychology class.

  36. Prommie

[re=620653]Katydid[/re]: They are actually extremely vulnerable to ego injury. Very often, they nurse gigantic resentments, against the entire world, for failing to recognize and reward their genius (as they see themselves) and these ego injuries form the internal justification for their sociopathic acts of revenge on the world. So, the best thing to do is make fun of them, and denigrate them, question their parentage, social class, intelligence, make fun of the schools they went to, they will never let it show, but these things actually bother a sociopath more than most people.

  37. teh_mantis

Big surprise, Brietbart has conveniently edited out the context of this story, but he forgot one crucial detail. Notice where she says that the story took place just after Chapter 12 bankruptcy was established for family farms? Andrew really should have edited that out. You know why? Chapter 12 was so established in 1986. What was Shirley Sherrod doing in 1986? She was running the New Communities black farm coop in Georgia. She was not employed by the government in any way. Some white farmer called a black coop looking for help. She helped him, but not as much as she “could” if, you know, he were a black farmer and thus would have some interest in the coop. They also gave farmers help restructuring their loans and whatnot, so she referred him to a lawyer who could help him, despite his condescending attitude.

I should also note that the her coop and the associate RDLN recently won a $1 billion+ settlement for black farmers after they were systematically denied loans provided to white farmers in the early eighties, complements of Ronnie Reagan (Pigford v. Glickman). But we all know it was those black farmers banding together in their cooperative farming blackness that are the real racists.

[re=620636]Les Paultard[/re]: Hey, that colored fella Jimi Hendrix played a Strativarius, too. So those coloreds really like them some expensive guitars.

Or maybe it was a Stradocastor? I’ll ask Breitbart.

  40. AnnieGetYourFun

  41. gradgrind

Mister Brightbutt has a point, people. Strativarius is every boy’s fave baseball fantasy board/card game of the 1950s. It should not be the exclusive property of elitist groups (like Americans of sound mind) who won’t let Mister Brightbutt get in the game with them.

  42. comicbookguy

    refute + repudiate = refudiate
    stratocaster + stradivarius = strativarius

That’s how words are constructed in Teabonics (tea party + ebonics). I hope this helps your edulearning.

  43. comicbookguy

[re=620709]teh_mantis[/re]: So in Brightbutt’s ideal color-blind world of racial harmony, Pigford v. Glickman would never have happened and white farmers would be getting money from the NAACP?

  44. NYNYNY

Republicans attacking the NAACP before elections…reminds me of something Brer Fox did that also didn’t work out very well.

So in Brightbutt’s ideal color-blind world of racial harmony, Pigford v. Glickman would never have happened and white farmers would be getting money from the NAACP?

I think in his ideal world, all black Americans would apologize to Andrew and other white people for all that racist complaining about slavery and discrimination, which never existed, and then go back to Africa, which their ancestors were dumb to have voluntarily left in the first place if they didn’t want to live with the not-racist, but clearly superior in every way, European folk who begged them not to come.

  48. pinky

It seems that everybody is responding to Mr. Breitbart, and nobody is responding to the video, because Wonkette told you it’s “boring” and Breitbart is an idiot.

Watch it for yourself and see if any of this is true: the white farmer was poor (wrong), he talked down to her (wrong), and she only “averaged” helped him (she never said that). What she said was, because he reminded her of the plight of black farmers who had lost their farms, she sent him to a “white lawyer” and acted like that helping him so he couldn’t say she didn’t help him.

The kicker is what she says about the “white lawyer.” Hint: she sent him to “his kind.”

But why bother to watch it – Wonkette told you it’s borin and, besides, it came from a right winger.
    Right?

  49. finallyhappy

[re=620838]pinky[/re]: I wouldn’t watch anything with him in it- I don’t need Wonkette to tell me anything about it. It is like Fox news- don’t watch it, don”t need to.

  50. Naked Bunny with a Whip

The NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus do not want racial harmony. They want political victory

Wouldn’t racial harmony be political victory for the NAACP? Or is Breitbart just projecting the conservative idea that the primary purpose of an organization is to perpetuate its own existence?

  51. Darkness

Maybe we should get a kitty together to buy Breitbart some plastic surgery. Clearly he’s so bitter and unhappy because he’s an ugly pigfucker.

  52. Katydid

[re=620838]pinky[/re]: Everyone here already knows Breitbart is a lying fuck.

    teh_mantis already addressed this:

“Bravo Mr. Breitbart. Bravo. I’ve forwarded this to everyone I know on Facebook and Twitter.”

Yes, I’m sure your nieces, nephews, grandkids and various other 5th degree connections were just so PLEASED to receive another bizarre “news update” from their activist, asshole relative/parent/stalker. Keep up the Lord’s work, dipshit!!!

  54. comicbookguy

[re=620870]Joe Biteme[/re]: Funny thing. Facebook doesn’t tell you when people hit the “ignore” button.

This would all go away if Shirley Sherrod just explained that she was just using satire.

  64. mumblyjoe

[re=621036]Darkness[/re]: Well, meh, it’s complicated. This person got a lot of her information from the homeschooler community, and you know how there’s two different types of homeschoolers? You have the insane hippies who are convinced that their children are unique, special flowers whose uniqueness and specialness would never be properly appreciated by educators, and then you have the right-wing Christianists who insist that they need to keep their children away from the corrupting influence of their same-aged peers, and also that they need to teach “traditional values,” that the kid won’t learn in “mainstream” schools, by which we mean that evolution is wrong, the earth is 5000 years old, and condoms will kill you.

Take those two groups together, and you get a very… interesting mix of anti-science and often right-wing insanity. I think the anti-vaxer crap actually comes mainly from the hippies, truth be told, though I’m sure plenty of right-wingers buy it and even add their own conspiratorial spin on it.

  65. Egregious

Jesus, this guy is the Paris Hilton of doughy DC “pundits.” Just avert your eyes the next time he flashes his vajayjay in the form of a press release.

[re=620838]pinky[/re]: I’m sure you’ll apologize right now, and not shake your fist at your monitor impotently only to rise up like some internet chancre in any later threads with Breitbart and his lobotomized goons. I’m so sure of this.

  68. Maus

Oh wait also, from a TPM article “The 82-year-old wife of the white Georgia farmer who was supposedly discriminated against some quarter century ago by the black USDA official forced to resign this week — if the video released by Andrew Breitbart’s Big Government and re-run by Fox is to be believed — is now confirming that in fact Shirley Sherrod saved her and her husband’s farm from bankruptcy and is a “friend for life.””

  69. mumblyjoe

[re=621419]Maus[/re]: Honestly, this shit is beyond predictable at this point. Breitbart releases a heavily edited video that seems damning, peoples’ lives are ruined over it, and then once everyone involved had their lives good and ruined, it comes out that, yeah, that heavily edited video was heavily edited, and in particular elided the part of the story where she then sees the error of her ways and learns to see past race and that’s the take-away message was left out. And, just to remind everyone, Sarah Palin and cultists think that asking a vice presidential candidate questions about her own party’s foreign policy stances, or even what books she reads in her spare time, is “Gotcha Journalism”. I can only assume they hold the same view of people datamining listserves for one or two flippant quotes, or chopping a video to pieces to make someone look kind of racist but not actually very racist, when they were actually telling a story that was actually sort of the opposite, and using these things to ruin peoples’ careers for no reason.

tl;dr version: Andrew Breitbart is a fucking racist asshole dipshit shitstained prick.

  72. polmbo

HAHA I suggest everyone actually read up on what really happened. The video was edited to make it look like she was a racist. If you look into it she says at first she was upset so many black people were losing their farms she didn’t give her full effort to help this white farmer but they she started working with him and realized it was about the have and have not’s and nothing to do with race. She worked her ass off and saved their farm and that farmers wife said she is a friend for life. Even Glenn Beck said this was BS. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,597263,00.html
