Matt Taibbi Dumps Lloyd Blankfein, Finds A New Lady To Hate

by Riley Waggaman

  • Missouri is the Alamo/Gulf of Tonkin/Concord Bridge for Obamacare repeal. One of those things, whichever makes the most sense and makes Missouri sound the coolest. [RedState]
  • Conservative legislators are not interested in providing free meals to malnourished children, because Jesus would have already made these children un-hungry if it was actually worth the effort. [Matt Yglesias]
  • The sexually-repressed inbreeds who run the Montana GOP want to keep “homosexual acts” illegal, because butt sex is bad for inbreeding. [Think Progress]
  • Meanwhile, evil New York State will probably make it illegal to sublet your cottage in the Hamptons for less than a month. Just to put this in perspective: Fidel Castro lets you sublet for as little or as long a time as you find fitting. [Hit & Run]
  • Ben Marter’s home cooking + The Politico‘s home-style reporting = Washington’s favorite summertime recipe for objective shoe-leather journamalism. [Vanity Fair Online]
  • Matt Taibbi has about a thousand mean words for you, Lara Logan, but if you read between the lines it sounds like he probably just really wants to make out with you but knows you’ll never let him. [The Daily Dish]

From RedState: “Josie Wales, a lawyer from Missouri writing at Big Government, calls August 3 “the most important day in America“.”” That has to be the single most outrageous bit of hyperbole that has ever been written in the history of human civilization; especially when talking about a completely meaningless symbolic initiative.

Now that several state GOP platforms have made outlawing blowjobs a central part of their platforms I”m hoping the Dems will be smart enough to take advantage; but not optimistic.

I am shocked to see that the Politico actually managed to top itself in complete and utter meaninglessness and vapidity. And miss having Juli here now.

Taibbi wants to make out with Logan? Riley, someone’s predilection for transference is showing. And I don’t blame you. After that blistering Matt delivered I think we all have a bit of a crush.

“Missouri is the Alamo/Gulf of Tonkin/Concord Bridge for Obamacare repeal. One of those things, whichever makes the most sense and makes Missouri sound the coolest.”

If there was only SOME way we could get the people who broght us 4 dollar gas (and those neat oil spills), emergency room closures, and high unemployment, to rescue us! But, how???

“butt sex is bad for inbreeding”.

Until Sen. Vitter weighs in on this I won’t know what to think.

Looks like Siegfried and Roy retired none too soon for Montana.

The Concord Bridge of healthcare repeal? I tend to think of our healthcare system as a different bridge — just not one that needs preserving. But I guess that’s the royalist in my showing through.

GOPCrusher June 29, 2010 at 3:50 pm

“If you think healthcare is expensive now, wait until it is free.” Has to be the “Get a brain, morans” of 2010.

Isn’t Lara Logan out on maternity leave? why won’t she STFU and go away, already? I mean, did SKS keep stinking up the joint when SHE was knocked up, or giving birth to l’il Trucknutz?

[re=608731]WarAndG[/re]: I long ago proposed a measure which would allow an opt-out for those who didn’t want to participate in social security. They could just fill out a form, and then, no SSI, no Medicare, no Medicaid deductions, and no benefits, for them.

Oh, and one more thing, if their parents were still working, their parents were thrown out of Social Security, too, no benefits for them. And if their parents were retired, or had died, they had to pay back the SS that their parents had received.

Helen Thomas had to die so that Lara Logan could protect her sources.

Don’t you mean Missouri is the Fort Sumter of Obamacare?

Prommie June 29, 2010 at 4:01 pm

[re=608771]comicbookguy[/re]: Maybe it will be the Little Big Horn of the Teatards.

GOPCrusher June 29, 2010 at 4:03 pm

[re=608699]JMP[/re]: The retards have to be aware that “Josie Wales” is a reference to the Clint Eastwood character, right?

Naked Bunny with a Whip June 29, 2010 at 4:05 pm

Does this mean Montanas have to make sure they’re fucking opposite-sex cattle?

Naked Bunny with a Whip June 29, 2010 at 4:13 pm

calls August 3 “the most important day in America“

So I guess I should save my July 4 fireworks for a month?

Nah, Matt just has a bad case of Bachmann-Palin Syndrome – the desire to conclude a deeply satisfying hate-fuck with a 10-gauge donkey punch. It comes and goes, and doesn’t progress from passing fancy to serious visualization and planning. He’s probably already forgotten about it.

Wanting to Witness and Videotape Matt Drudge Burning Himself to Death like a Vietnamese Buddhist Monk Syndrome, on the other hand, gets in there and sticks around forever. Anyone who says he’s “cured” is a lying sack of fail.

[re=608809]GreenHalo[/re]: Totally concur with the hate-fuck fantasy.

I can’t help but be curious to know Michael Ware’s thoughts on the subject.
