Strap-ons strapped, devices for ramming set to “down”, etc!

To the Indonesian FB commenter: if you think America is annoying from there, try living here.

Monsieur Grumpe March 19, 2010 at 9:10 am

There is one thing that I’m sure is consistent throughout the human race and that is the ability to be annoying. I’ve have no proof of this, just faith in humanity.

If your ten-year-old child weighs as much as you do, you’re spending too much on their food.

You should be putting them to work to earn their keep and to keep the USA competitive. Like they do in China.

If it takes your kid 10 years to hit 180lbs you’re not trying hard enough. My kid is barely 4 and I can’t even play on the seesaw with him. We’re real Americans.

slavojzizek March 19, 2010 at 9:12 am

Math is hard! From the Washington Post article on Israel: “All three polls showed a majority of Israelis supported continued construction in Jerusalem’s disputed eastern sector, the issue at the heart of the U.S.-Israeli row. Support ranged from 48 percent in one poll to 70 percent in another.”

A: Might as well. They only live once.

JMP March 19, 2010 at 9:30 am

Note to the Washington Post: 48% > 41%, yes, but it’s still less than half, which makes it a plurality, not a majority. The three polls are all over the place, though; either polling is trickier in Israel than here, or some had loaded questions.

It’s nice to see things looking bad for Bibi’s Likud party; there’s not much of a chance for peace as long as they and the even-further-right parties maintain control.

Why does every moron in the world feel they have a right and an obligation to go on the Internet to express every stupid thought that comes into their head?

Nope, I’m Murrikan, no self-recognition or self-awareness gonna come from this Exceptionalpode (which reminds me, where’s BearBloke been, and how disappointed is he with Nobama’s No-show)?

Is he more or less upset than when Lizzie the Deuce did show up? I must know.

[re=533712]JMP[/re]: [re=533708]slavojzizek[/re]: Well, you see, in Israel 41 would be 14% < 84%, which is definitely not a majority, but rather a minority, which Jews are, except not in Israel, but they soon will be, if they don’t stop killing Palestinians, but anyway, the math works. M’kay?

Katydid March 19, 2010 at 9:37 am

[re=533715]Katydid[/re]: Ahem. Make that “In Israel, 48% > 41% would be 14% < 84%…” yada yada yada.

Crap, now I’m not sure if I did that right. Hebrew numbers are hard.

I think, when discussing Israel, perhaps “in the tank” is a poor choice of words.

Fucking people.

earnestcivilservant March 19, 2010 at 9:50 am

Obese, shmobese. You can’t just look at weight in isolation, like they did in that study. You have to look at the combo of height and weight. If you’re 85th percentile for weight, and 90th percentile for height, you’re not obese, you’re just big boned.

The disappointed folks are so worried about the U.S. relationship with the Indonesian people. Hell with that. Obama (rightly) needs to worry about his relationship with the Merrikan people, who are hurting.

If the Indonesians don’t like it, they can leave. Or something.

Evidentely, depending on the stupidity of the American public to pay your bills may not always be the correct path to financial security.

dedalus March 19, 2010 at 1:24 pm

Re Hillary and Obama:

Maybe because she is simply NOT the conniving, castrating, power lusting witch the media repeatedly portrayed her as throughout the campaign, for no good reason other than they (a) were in childhood indoctrinated by priests that women should not wield power (c.f. Chris Matthews, Tim Russert, and the worst misogynist at the Times, Maureen Dowdy); (b) wanted a new chew toy (c.f. Obama); and/or (c) wanted her to lose.

But do you hear any of the MSM stating they were WRONG about Hillary? Oh no, it is just SO SURPRISING that she gets along so well with others. Geez, give me a fucking break.

And no, I’m not a feminist or a woman. Just a guy wholly repulsed by MSM coverage of the past election.

Sorry I have no humor about this repulsive news coverage.

OzoneTom March 19, 2010 at 2:24 pm

[re=533962]emberglance[/re]: Yeah, they have buried the story.
