And Then There Were Four Stock ImagesMost people who know anything about politics recognize that Katon Dawson and other influential slaveowners at the RNC will be drafting a plan to both re-enslave and kill Michael Steele, simultaneously, at their upcoming gay slaveowner retreat in Hawaii. But only now are we learning of the first step in this process. According to the very healthy Washington Times slavery money trade pamphlet, the retreaters “are preparing a motion demanding that RNC Chairman Michael S. Steele cancel promotional events for the book he wrote as chairman.” They’re also seizing his profits — not a very capitalist move, but Michael Steele is from Africa so whatever.

Senior Republican National Committee members are preparing a motion demanding that RNC Chairman Michael S. Steele cancel promotional events for the book he wrote as chairman, The Washington Times has learned.

The proposed motion, to be presented to the 168-member RNC at its annual winter meeting in Honolulu at the end of this month, also would direct him to donate to the RNC and Republican candidates all proceeds from the book.

A storm of criticism has swirled around Mr. Steele over his missteps, retractions, and profiting from speeches and his new book, “Right Now: A 12-Step Program for Defeating the Obama Agenda.” Three of his predecessors have publicly castigated his actions. His critics say the controversy is distracting voter attention from the Democrats’ problems 10 months before midterm elections.

Ha ha ha, you fool, Steele! We are supposed to be attacking Democrats, not devising a platform for Republicans!

It turns out Haley Barbour made all sorts of money doing these things when he was RNC chair, but Haley Barbour did not have quite as much melanin as Michael Steele and was allowed to do such things.

Suddenly, all sorts of neat things are happening in Hawaii.

BlueStateLibtard January 13, 2010 at 6:13 pm

Why is the RNC holding this meeting in the foreign country of Hawaii? Doesn’t sound very Real American to me.

DustBowlBlues January 13, 2010 at 6:17 pm

I hope they turn on each other. Health Care Reform is going down in flames and so are the Democrats. Our only hope is for teabaggers to get too big for their britches and start flaming the Republic Party.

We are so totally fucked in so many ways. It’s just buzz killing the memories I have of election night.

BTW–Helluva picture.

Haley. That’s another one of those country club names like Katon, Saxby, Lindsey and Francis/Leslie (Swampfox’s real names). Michael Steele should just change his name to Winsome Worthington VII, deal with these people only over the phone, stop that lame rapping, and he could be Chairman for Life, since Michelle Bachmann says he’s Da Man (golf talk).

SmutBoffin January 13, 2010 at 6:28 pm

I’m surprised that no one has adopted that pic as their avatar, yet.

SayItWithWookies January 13, 2010 at 6:29 pm

Something happened a long time ago and Michael Steele doesn’t want to talk about it. He was under the heel of the Texans — Tom Delay and whatever. And he swore a pact to the devil — he said “I will serve you if you get me free from the Hammer.” And the devil said, “Okay, it’s a deal.” He kicked Delay out, Steele revolted and got himself free. But ever since, he’s been cursed by one thing after the other — desperately stupid.

That can force a brother to donate the his profits to the RNC?
Really?
My, that is suspiciously like slavery…

“Watch them shuffle along
See them shuffle along
Oh, take your best gal real pal go down to the levee
I said the levee
Join the shuffling throng
Hear the music and song
It’s simply great mate waiting on the levee
Waiting for the Robert E. Lee!!”

I dunno, that’s all I can think of when I see that pic of Mista Steele…

This is pretty hypocritical. Every politician or pundit, republican or democrat, can’t make it on just their salary. They all have to write books & articles, give paid speeches, have teevee gigs, and a consulting appointment with some think tank.

And most of their free time is filled with raising money for some PAC or their own personal ‘foundation’ since they don’t spend their own money for anything.

Pol does not live by lobbyist alone.

[re=494246]Lascauxcaveman[/re]: Indeed, they should have done more research before committing to that “white mans burden”. Chalk it up to their lack of understanding when it comes to “ghetto culture” and let’s get the servants out of the boardroom. Haley Barbour, in addition to being white, is a big fat guy from Mississippi. He is thrice blessed.

FOR YOUR EYES ONLY

FROM RNC POLITBURO – TOP PRIORITY

Attention Comrade Steele!

Our Commissars inform us that the resounding successes of our policy of The Holy Eternal Purge may have some pecuniary spinoffs that are contrary to the ultimate victory of GOP doctrine. In order to bring order into our glorious dictatorship of the plutocracy, your services will be required in the form of cash on demand.

Your ideological purification will be complete upon our receipt of same, & we can boldly march onward to victory only with your unconditional support in this & all future matters. No thanks are needed for the great honor we bestow upon you – your prompt compliance will be thanks aplenty.

Political power grows out of the chute of an ATM!

All hail The Five Year Plan!

PS – no checks.

[re=494279]Long Form Def Certificate[/re]: I keep noticing elaborate, new, custom-built mansions from the Mississippi Riviera featured in shelter magazines (a.k.a. Jukesgrrl’s porn). I always wonder how much of the re-build funds were provided by Haley from a fund earmarked for his use by his brush-cutting pal from Texas. Probably anything that Allstate or Nationwide didn’t cover. Heaven knows we can’t have the rich going without docks for their pleasure craft or cute little cabanas for their golf carts.

Lionel Hutz Esq. January 14, 2010 at 5:46 am

It is such a shame that Michael Steele’s skin color isn’t just a shade lighter. He wouldn’t have these kind of problems with his White Masters then.

[re=494210]SayItWithWookies[/re]: It has been well discussed.

mkultra January 14, 2010 at 6:41 am

Haley Barbour (white) was RNC chair in 1993-1997; he was active as a lobbyist for Barbour and Rogers during that time. In other words, he had a side career making money WHILE being RNC chair. There was no complaint at the time. Now Steele does something similar and the RNC members are livid. Of course this is a double standard. Let me make a big leap, but if you want to see Republicans exhibit this same double standard on a daily basis, just read sports commentary / listen to sports radio. In largely black professional sports, the columnists/talk show folks are still white (& conservative) and can’t stand a black person who causes on the field problems (“attitude problem”) versus a white player who demonstrates his toughness with the same antics or is in fact a “throwback” to when athletes roughed up their opponents. Conservatives are largely oblivious of this double standard. They won’t make any real progress with the minority vote until they divest themselves of it.

Whitey keepin’ a brotha down, that’s all this is.

plowman January 14, 2010 at 8:42 am

[re=494434]mkultra[/re]: Nah, it’s not about money, they fear greatly a political book with ‘RNC Chairman’ printed on the cover being taken up by rank and file looney righties as marching orders, a manual for the ‘New Republican Party’ that will really let its freak flag fly, thus making undecided voters skittish as well as possibly upsetting the party heirarchy. The Fat Cats can’t have the Joe the Plumber types actually try to RUN things!

To be fair, if he could learn to drop that negro dialect, he wouldn’t be having nearly as many problems as he is.
